This hotel was close to MD Anderson

The pool was cold, the heat for the pool does not work at all. Went downstairs to get in. It was freezing .. called the front desk, and they said the pool heat has never worked ..

The A/C units were very good. Breakfast was fine, the breakfast worker was very sweet. Beds were comortable. Location is next to hospital district and museum district its nice. The price of the rooms were better than everywhere around. We were looking at another place and it was more expensive for smaller beds

Outdated bathroom, damaged trims and shower was not that good. Some mold observed in shower caddy area. The lighting in the room is bad but all hotels suck with their lighting. And the floorlamp was broken in one of our rooms (we had 2)

We stay here every 3 months when we come for my Husbands Drs. appt at MD Anderson. The location is excellent and the fact they have a shuttle service to and from the hospital is a big plus! The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable.

I have to say I'm very disappointed in the continental breakfast this time. They used to have eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy and other things that were very good. This trip all they had was a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich we had to heat in the microwave.

Everything! Starting with the staff! So friendly and welcoming. You can tell it’s an older property but they are taking care of it doing upgrades to it. The hotel was very clean and everything in our room worked perfectly. We will definitely stay there in the future.

The elevator made a horrible screeching noise every time. We asked someone from the staff and the elevator had been serviced a few weeks before our stay and they were supposed to go back and service it again but they hadn’t showed up in two weeks.

Room was great! Beds are very comfortable. The staff was always very nice. We didn't have a chance to have breakfast there but it was always good when we stayed before.

We were very sad to find out that the Hotel is closing the end of this week. The owner has sold the building and the are going to demolish it. We always have stayed here when we come to town for my husbands Dr visits.

Its Location was very convenient at the center of town . you’re able to hit multiple points of interest in the short matter of time , it had very good spacious parking facilities in the underground parking lot, and although my stay wasn’t for the hospital I will say it’s a very good location to book if a loved one is in the hospital super close and affordable.

The hotel is located in Main Street, close to the hospital (Texas medical center) and to the Rice University (which is the reason why I chose it). I travelled together with a colleague and the room was quite comfortable for two people, since we had two king-size beds. The bathroom also was functional and we were given plenty of towels and soap. The air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was just fine, I think there were not so many options but still it was enough for us. The hotel offered a free wifi connection, so we didn't need any code to log in.

Maybe a wider selection for breakfast (I would have liked a croissant, for example). Since we stayed only one night, however, it wasn't a problem.

The staff were very compassionate, kind, helpful. The room was huge. The extra table helped for medical devices and med setup--usually we have a desk and nightstand in other hotels and we are very cramped for space. Security was top notch! Location is perfect for walking and easy of wheelchair use (or stroller or child wagon). There are lots of eateries and stores close by if you need anything or forgot something at home.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Right there by MD Anderson. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was as good as any other Hotels breakfast. Their shuttle service was a life saver and Chris the shuttle driver was very nice and extremely helpful. Looks like we will be in Houston every three months so we will be back!

The beds were comfortable, but they could use a memory foam topper on them. Only the ice machine on the 2 nd floor worked. We were on the 6th floor.

The location was very good within walking distances to medical facilities and eating establishments. The transportation to appointments was helpful as well. Location felt safe as well.

Our AC unit had a plugged drain pan making the room smell of mildew. Maintenance tried to correct the problem but was not successful.
