Facilities were amazing and location is extremely convenient, everything is nearby.

Staff member had a spare key to access our room and barged in at 08:30 in the morning to see if we've checked out yet.

The place is very beautiful but we did not enjoy our stay as the owner of the place did not allow us to sit by the swimming pool, to swim and enjoy our drinks. This was a very bad experience as we were forced to go to the streets to go enjoy ourselves there. It was the first time around harties having to experience such. He said he was selling alcohol but he did not have any of our beverages that we could settle for.

Our stay there was terrible, I feel sad as I wanted to enjoy myself as it was my birthday

The lodge was centre for every place we wanted to go. It was neat and staff was really friendly Lincoln is amazing, mr Yes, please,thank you! Sis Thandis breakfast was mouthwatering and deliciously out of this world. Everything was just so great. It did not take the cleaners long to clean our room, we went to eat breakfast and when we come back to get ready for exploring our room was already cleaned. Amazing 👏

The property was clean. The host was amazing. It’s clean, it’s beautiful. The location is suitable. You able to visit all the place you need to. The place is just amazing everything is up to standard. Very very good place. Will definitely be going back again there

The fact that I didn’t spend more time in it. Lawlz I’m going to definitely go back again there and spend more time in the place. There isn’t anything to like about the place it’s fantastic

I am admittedly biased, since the original house was designed and built in 1960 by my frandfather Casper Krüger, great-grandson of the legendary Paul Krüger, which the present owners have subsequently converted into the 4-star Kassaboera lodge. Having grown up here, several of my cousins and I recently used the occasion of a family reunion to return to this grand old home to rekindly fond memories, wondering if the intervening 60 years had altered any of our recollections at all. What a pleasant surprise it was to discover that the present owners, Manie and Amanda, have done an excellent job here in the restoration of this special place! All the charm of the original house remains, with the high, thatched roof and spacious interior, but now with modern luxuries and conveniences added, such as the beautiful swimming pool and lovely gardens. From here it is still possible to undertake long, leisurely strolls along the lake. Now I am happy in the thought that this remains one of my favorite places on earth.

Breakfast was good. Rooms were good and the Pool was equally good. the owners were very kind and always ready to provide any support. It is a quit place with great privacy

They don't make meals, except Breakfast, which brings challenges during festive season, as the majority of restaurants close, but this is a smaller issue compared to all gains

The lodge itself is very beautiful. Aesthetically pleasing. My partner and I took lots of beautiful pictures. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Mam' Thandi for the beautiful and delicious food, and Mr. Lincoln for being a finger on pulse caretaker. There was never a need or request that was not attended to swiftly, thanks to the team. Loved the open bar as well. The fact that we didn't have to leave the compound for sundowners or just refreshments while relaxing. my partner was especially pleased with the pool. He spent all his free time in there. Crisp and sparkling clean. Special thanks to Amanda for being the perfect hostess. The lodge is homely and lovely. With just the perfect dose of touristy as well.

This isn't about the lodge itself, but the area is prone to load shedding. but the lodge does cater for that, even during load shedding times, we were never in the dark, That was actually wonderful. The lodge has a back up system, so we were never in the dark, and we were entertained as the TV's and plugs never went out during down times.

The establishment was exquisite, to say the least. Words can’t explain the beauty, cleanliness and serenity of the place is out of this world. I loved everything about the place. The gentleman who was assisting us, Lincoln, that guy is like Godsend. He is the most kind, loving and caring man. Keep up the good work!!

. The place is spotless clean inside out , peaceful and very secured. The staff is very friendly , welcoming and helpful.. Lincoln goes all out to ensure thàt all guests are happy and feel at home , and thanks to chef Thandi for scrumptious breakfast every morning... We'll definitely come back
