Marsel and Adriaan were very welcoming and friendly. The room was smaller than expected based of pictures but came with all the mentioned amenities, and the whole atmosphere was warm and cozy. The famous dam was right in front of the balcony. Aircon was cold and we slept very well both nights.

You have to really choose between a room with ensuite bathroom but not great view, or a room with great view but with a detached bathroom outside. I went with the great view because who wouldn't really, but this really was a decision that I had to ponder on for much longer than I wished.

We slept very well, the beds were so comfortable and the place is very quiet. At the back there’s a mountain so one feel so close to nature and wake up very refreshed. The front view is to die for as one can see Hartbeedpoort Dam. The owners are very welcoming and always available whenever needed by their guests

We used the same towels for our entire 3day stay, they were never changed. One of the rules is that bed linen gets changed after 4 days unless there’s some sort of spill of something.

The breakfasts are delicious and a lovely choice available. The exclusive room is very luxurious with an amazingly cold heat pump and equipped with a big bath and shower and a private balcony. Parking is ample and very easily accessible. Unfortunately didn't have a swim or a braai but there's even that onsite. Liked the NO MUSIC policy so the guest house was quiet and peaceful. Wifi available too and satellite channels. Loved watching Food Network 👌 Thanks for a great stay 🙂

We loved our stay. The host was warm, the staff were kind. Our rooms were comfortable and neat. Beautiful, quiet neighbourhood. The only regret we had is that our itinerary was so full we didn't get to enjoy that pool area!

Maybe the iron and the ironing board... they are evidently very old, especially the ironing board. It's such a beautiful place that you don't expect to be using such worn-out items. But we were happy with everything else.

The room and bathroom were clean and had everything we needed. Pretty View from the balcony. The owner and staff we met were friendly and helpful.

Parking could be assigned; it was a bit competitive for some other guest to see if they could take the parking that we went to first. The parking was a little uneven for my bike in the normal bays and I had to park sideways to ensure my bike did not tip.

My experience with Belle Vue was just amazing. I was traveling alone and felt very safe. Jo-Anne was so kind and considerate, she kept on checking up on me to make sure I feel comfortable and safe as I was alone. Breakfast was as amazing. It’s close to the stores, and so many attractions in Haarties. I would definitely come back and recommend it to solo travelers. The view from the balcony is just breathtaking!

My bathroom was outside my bedroom so it was not an ensuite. I needed to cross the corridor to reach it. I found that so inconvenient.

Marsel is an incredible host. She's patient and attends to the needs of the guest timeously. Our check-in time was delayed, and she was very understanding. The place is serene and definitely has no load shedding. Most of the to-do activities are no more than 20 minutes traveling distance.

Very neat and well maintained area. Marsel was very welcoming and responsive. The braai area and the swimming pool are a perfect setting especially for a young family. We really enjoyed ourselves and felt safe during our stay.

we had a room with a beautiful view of the dam. Breakfast was served on time with a very friendly and bubbly waitress and was delicious we felt very safe our room was well equipped with extra blankets and a heater as well

there were no cold drinks available at the bar No alcohol as well the bath tub was a little too small for us older people it would be nice if we could get fresh towels every day It would be great if the garden chairs on our room balcony were more comfortable like the ones at the other rooms

The views from our rooms were spectacular, the breakfast was great. Marsel was so marvellous, she is a great host. The kids also loved it

The cleaning of the room could be done more as it only gets cleaned once you check out.
