The location of the hotel is very good. Torno is about 15 minutes by car from Como. We did not try it but a "boat bus" leaves from the hotel and goes to Como if you do not have a car. The view of the lake from the room was beautiful. The hotel is "in its juice" and quite typical which gives it a lot of charm. The rooms are not very modern but they have the comfort and practicality you need. The breakfast was very good and varied. We also ate very well in the hotel's restaurant whose terrace overlooks the lake.

The walls of the rooms are a little thin, it was not disturbing for a few nights but I imagine that in the long run it can bother. It is not possible to go to the hotel by car (be careful to read the sign at the top of the street of the hotel) which can bother people with reduced mobility. To park your car you have to go to the private parking lot 400 m from the hotel for a price of 15€/night.

Hotel Vapore is charming and welcoming. Moreover, its location is perfection. One cannot help but relax and just enjoy the beautiful views and surroundings. The wine list is impressive and the restaurant dinner was good. Breakfast was excellent (including the coffee).

Parking was a mess. Needs a renovation, hasn’t changed since 1985 our last visit.

Four nights at this wonderful hotel was the perfect start to our tour of Italy. Our hosts and the entire staff were friendly and helpful. Fabulous location with views of the lake from our beautiful room, which had a small balcony. The breakfast was delicious as was dinner. Only a short walk to the ferry.

The stay would have been even better if tea and coffee making facilities were included in the room.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable hotel, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. With polite staff, an incredible view, a fantastic restaurant featuring authentic dishes, and the charm of a lovely village, I can't recommend this place highly enough. It’s the perfect destination for anyone looking to relax and immerse themselves in a beautiful setting. I can’t wait to return!

Beautiful views from the room, lovely terrace and very cozy restaurant.

Not enough sockets and no curtains in the room. We had an early departure so couldn’t get help with carrying our luggage to the car- the steps to get to the car park are not ideal when you have heavy luggage. They have a service to carry the luggage from 8am-8pm

All the staff are excellent and could not do enough for us. The quality of everything was high and stayed high throughout. We went to relax and relax we did. The views were exquisite, food phenomenal and a great experience.

The road and traffic up that side of the lake is madness; take a ferry or hire a bike.

Unfortunately we arrived during extremely hot temperatures and there is no ac in rooms. They did their best and provided us with fans. I was told next winter ac will be installed that is definitely needed with thecrisingvtemperatures

It is a great hotel in an amazing location. Very quiet town, in front of the lake with breathtaking views. The staff are very charmant and helpful. It offers a very good breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake. The hotel is very clean.

The hotel furniture, like the beds, is a bit old.

sorry we couldn't swim so easily - you had to go to beach in another town, some staff didn't seem to appreciate it when we swam from the garden (and we could only do it when restaurant was not in use), rooms (especially bathroom) outdated which had its charm as well
