The location is awesome! (bring a Drone). The view, the hospitality and the food was very good. Wild animals can be seen in the evening when they feed the animals with the food leftovers from the tourists.

It's not that its a drawback or bad thing ... but we drove a 1.2 Touran with 7 people (two parents and 5 kids) and a trailer and to drove 40 minutes in 1ste gear at 3000rpm with a 20% incline up the mountain with small roads, gravel and steeps 200meters down and the "roads" as wide as the car itself and other drivers going down the hill was on itself a real challenge, not suitable for everyone. .... And the next day down from 1200meter... No air-conditioning and the interior is old but clean and functional. Toilets and shower you need to share with others. From us no problem but for others I don't know?

The location is on the mountain, good for escaping from a summer hot weather. The panorama from the bedroom window and restaurant is gorgeous for a view of Italian northern plains with the lake Alerio a pearl look. This hotel is very family friendly and the food are so delicious. I also like the community there - warm welcoming to neighborhood and strangers.

It takes a 20 minutes walk to arrive from the T3 finale station if by public transport and challenges your driving skills if by private car, but the host is super nice offering a pickup and thereof not a problem.

I really loved the hosts, they were very friendly and attentive. The view from the accommodation is absolutely amazing, you’re high up in the mountains with a beautiful view of Lake Como which you can see from your room window. It was just so peaceful and quiet there, definitely an excellent spot if you want a chilled getaway. It also has lovely walking trails around the area. It was such a special place, I’ll definitely be back.

It is a little bit far out from the city (about 30 mins drive) but it was perfect for the type of accommodation I was looking for

Great place located on top of mountain. Great spot to explore nature and hiking. Place was clean and nice. There was even a concert of the first evening. Staff was amazing! Genuinely good people. We loved it. Only thing is the road to the place is scary and narrow so you need to be mentally prepared if you’re not used to it.

We had problems with our car and couldn’t drive 1,8 km up to the hotel.We phoned them and they kindly came to take us to the hotel,thanks for that👍 The view from the window was amazing!😻

There is one bathroom for many rooms,you have to share it with other guests.

The staff at the pension was very kind and more than nice. Absolutely delicious food - really food for the soul I would say. The view from the terrace is absolutely gorgeous ❤️ (big 10 for that). The road to the guesthouse is a picturesque one - both literally and figuratively - quite winding, narrow in places, minimally equipped on some segments. You really need a good car to get to the top (altitude 1100m). But it's worth it!

Lovely staff/owners! The location is remarkable at least: gorgeous views! The food was good: loved it.

A bit of rough drive up the mountain.

We had chosen this location spontaneously, with the intention of traveling from the Netherlands to our holiday destination. We therefore wanted to sit around Lake Como. What we had not taken into account is that this hotel is located far up in the mountains. And that's what made it so much fun! We had to drive a long way up, past cute villages, nice restaurants. And about the last building you see is this hotel. It has a beautiful terrace with phenomenal views over the valley. We also had this view from our room. We stayed there for two days. It was a very nice experience. Even though we had to share the bathroom (which we didn't realize when booking), it all went well. The host Mikki has gone out of his way to make us feel comfortable. We had a really nice time. The breakfast is really great. We could choose how we wanted our eggs, there is sweet, cold cuts and cheese and fresh fruit. We had dinner in the evening, which also tasted very good. From the hotel you can walk well, we took a long walk and enjoyed the beautiful views. Thanks Mikki!

Extraordinarily welcoming and friendly staff. They even arranged to help us drive our van down to the city the next day. Very nice walk to the top of Monte Boletto. Amazing view.

Wifi did not reach the rooms. Only available on the terrace.
