I stayed at the Hampton Inn by Hilton North Bay for just one night, but it was enough to fall in love with this place! Everything, from the moment of check-in, reflected incredible care and attention to detail. The room was tastefully decorated with soft, gentle colors that created a cozy and calming atmosphere. Even the bathroom had a lovely painting, adding a touch of charm. The bed linens were impeccably clean and incredibly soft—it was pure bliss to fall asleep in such comfort. A standout feature was the large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, and lotion provided in the bathroom. This is so practical, especially for long hair—no more struggling with tiny bottles like in other hotels. A huge plus for this thoughtful touch! The breakfast exceeded all my expectations. There was a wide variety of options, including porridge, fresh fruits, and much more. The breakfast area itself deserves special praise: spacious tables and soft, elegant seating made me feel like I was dining in a luxury restaurant. Another lovely touch was the option to take coffee or tea to go, which is super convenient if you’re in a rush. I also want to highlight the thoughtfulness at check-in: guests are given a bottle of water, a small gesture that makes the experience even more pleasant. The staff was incredibly polite and professional, and they made even my one-night stay truly memorable. Thank you for such outstanding service! I will definitely return if I get the chance.

The building is older, but you can tell they've put work into it where it would be the best benefit i.e. beds, furnishings, bathrooms. The rooms was very comfortable, with a good layout. Very clean and thoughtfully decorated, with your very own mini split unit for air-conditioning which was amazing. The included breakfast was good and varied in a huge room with plenty of natural light and really cozy furniture. Very friendly and attentative kitchen staff, who did a great job! The layout of the hotel made all the facilities such as gym, pool, laundry and dining area very easy to find, which I think I've taken for granted in the past. And they have a Pelaton bike! Highly recommend this place.

The young lady who checked me in wasn't very hospitable and didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Which is important as they are the first experience of your stay, and you want to feel like you are welcome! But either way the rest of the staff and the hotel as a whole won me over!

The hotel and the room were very clean. I also liked that it had a mini fridge and microwave. And the breakfast is always a nice touch! I always enjoy staying at a Hampton Hotel.

I had a pet, but he was in the room for only a few hours - I ended up bringing my dog to a friend's house for the night as I wasn't feeling well. When I checked out the next day I was charged the full $75 pet cleaning fee, even though I had mentioned he was only there for a few hours. I fully expected to pay for my pet staying, but was hoping the charge would have been lessened a bit given the short amount of time he was there.

Easy to find

Asked for more towels as there weren’t any towels left in the pool area and we had to use ours from our room and they never came. It was very busy and I think I just slipped through the cracks and used wet towels. The parking is weird. Can’t really fix it as the size of the lot is the way it is but makes for long walks with full arms.

Check in time is after 3pm and check out is before noon, leaving you paying a full day for 21 hours. Paid online snd had to pay a deposit upon arrival. Bathroom had some mould on the soap holder in the shower, heat system was off and set to sweltering temperatures

Room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the pool! The breakfast was exceptional and the staff working in the breakfast room very friendly and efficient. We liked that the room had both a fridge and microwave.

The staff working reception were not very friendly. We did not like that we had to pay an extra $75 for our dog to stay with us. This is not mentioned on the website when booking a room. We felt that $20 per night for out pet would have been more reasonable.

Breakfast was great and the added bonus of fresh fruit available for travel was excellent! The room was clean but like most hotel rooms the insulation from the noise level in the corridors was not good. Kept my partner up most of the night as guests came in and out.

Get a better WiFi system. I never managed to get access to it. Too much trouble to have to call front desk for help. This is an easy process anywhere else I've been.

We had a lovely stay in a clean, quiet room. The breakfast was ample with both hot and cold options. There was even decaf coffee in the room, which we were told that there would not be! We will definitely stay here again when we are visiting family in the area.

The room is not cleaned during your stay. Officialy for privacy reason. For the standard of the hotel I find this surprising... not sure the room was cheaper...
