The staff and the spacious suites were great. My only complaint is that I booked this hotel because it had a pool. With unpredictable weather I wanted to make sure my family would have access to a pool if the weather is not good to dip in the lake. We did have a great time. The breakfast is great and abundant and served in a lovely restaurant. Great staff very responsive when you ask for help.

We didn’t get our room cleaned. Until our last night. I’m not sure why? I was a bit bothered about that because my son had an accident and we really needed our room cleaned. So I’m not sure why they didn’t come and clean our room. For almost $1000 for a weekend we should have had a cleaning when we requested it numerous times. I’m not sure why they didn’t we offered to leave the room when they came to clean and we even left to give them that space. But still no show.

This hotel was recommended by my son.. never stayed there myself... So I was very surprised when I arrived and when I entered into my room it was like a condo that you would get at a timeshare... The staff was exceptional you couldn't ask for anything better and we were able to use the dining room area to have our family get together... I will definitely stay there on my next visit to North Bay... A great place for family get togethers and just a great place for a girls weekend...

Breakfast was far better than expected, with oatmeal and nuts for toppings, DIY waffles, unlimited bacon and omelets and coffee, and an open and spacious seating arrangement. Far more pleasant than the typical hotel cafeteria-like space for free breakfast of sugary cereals and carby breads. The exercise room is well-equipped and even riding an exercycle for 1 km helped my legs feel good for a whole day of driving. I think this hotel gets that to beat Airbnb they have to offer things that no one homeowner can, like a luxurious breakfast, exercise room, and wide open spaces. Even a free newspaper!

The pool unfortunately is closed for the duration, I hope it's reopened by the time I come back. Which I certainly will.

First of all the staff were exeptional, especially the receptionist when we arrived and Anik was over the top helpful in the morning. We had problems because I switched dates and booking.com was not helpful. Anik spent time helping me when she was not working. BTW, from now on I will not use a third party like booking or expedia. I will go straight to the hotel. Love the rooms, the two beds, and kitchen.

The bathroom sink did not drain normally. It needs unplugging.

did not have breakfast. food allergies. the king suite with the full kitchen and work space etc was just fantastic! room was very clean, big thing for me.

should have an info packet in room reminding of times for breakfast, checkout etc. because I am not used to having televicion, it took a while for me to figure out how to use it, then when I figured it out, wished there were more options.

Nice hotel--clean, quiet, very comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Good kitchen with dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans, etc. Good breakfast included, and one of the nicer exercise rooms we've had in our month-long trip across Eastern Canada. Hotel is situated on one of the many connecting bike paths through town. Nice farmer's market 10-minute walk (max). Very helpful and friendly staff, from the front desk, to the breakfast crew, to housekeeping.

Bit of a struggling town, but people were very friendly.

Rooms are great, well laid out and provide options to use your computer or watch tv without being in bed to use either. There was plenty of storage and room work or relax. It was very convenient location and close to both the lake and business area.

I always think parking security can be improved in most hotels. I didn't notice any parking lot cameras which I think is great deterant for thieves as they tend to target out of state/province folks as they won't return for any court appearences should they get caught.. But a minor thing.

My granddaughter and a few of her friends joined us at Homewood Suites to celebrate my granddaughters 11 birthday party! The suite was spectacular , the front desk very enthusiastic She gave the girls a loot bag, housekeeping ensured the room was clean and even to the maintenance guy who came and got the luggage cart for me We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and celebration!

Bed was a little worn and soft. Decent sleep Bonus feature a farmers market downtown on Saturday in walkable distance. Just lovely.

The size of the 2 queen bed suite was perfect, feels like an apartment. Everything was updated, full size fridge and dishwasher. Beds were super comfortable. Large soaker tub was a nice bonus. Room was very quiet. Will definitely come back:)
