I loved this place and would definitely stay again. It is really well located near Kim Sha Beach and Simpson Bay. The room was really spacious and quiet and was cleaned to such a high standard. The hotel is locally owned and environmentally conscious, which I also appreciated. The suite had a kitchen area and nice bathroom and offers a nice option for those who don't necessarily want to stay in large resort type accommodation. It is also really good value for money. I found the staff exceptionally kind and helpful. The cleaner Christina was so kind and friendly to me every day and the reception staff Shaney and Latoya also both went above and beyond. They made check-in and check-out very smooth and also kindly offered a lot of great suggestions for trips on the island.

I liked how the frontdesk staff Latoya received me with kindness and big smile. Also that she showed me the room itself. Something that I've never experienced at no other hotel while travelling. And the housekeeping staff which her name is Christena Rodgers, went well above and beyond her effort for keeping everything nice and tidy. I appreciate it very much. I loved the location which is close to every supermarket, restaurant, bar and nightlife. Also the surroundings was quiet that I was not bothered in no way. I would definitely come back to St. Maarten and stay at Bakers Suites, my home away from home.

I've stayed here a few times now and I love the location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The room is perfect for my needs, a bed, a shower and a place to prepare food. Rooms are always clean and even supply basic toiletries in the bathroom like shampoo, conditioner and even have qtips and cotton balls.

The shower didn't have much water pressure and to take a hot shower I had to basically turn off the cold. The bed this time around was not as comfortable, causing me to toss more than usual.

Very clean room with comfortable accommodation. The room was as pictured in the photos. The staff were warm, welcoming & helpful.

The bathroom & window are positioned right at the walkway outside of the room. Anyone passing would be able to hear you inside the shower/ flushing the toilet. There were also a few mosquitoes that were inside the room. They perhaps entered while the room was being prepared.

The location of this hotel is less than 5 minutes away from the beach, the hotel staff were very friendly and the bed was so comfortable. I had a great experience and I will definitely recommend this particular hotel Baker's Suite to everyone. I give it a full 5 stars for cleanliness, friendly and courteous staff also management was great and very helpful..

Exceptional staff, Alexia, Shanay, Latoya and Christina exceeded all of our needs and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We are very appreciative for their kindness and accommodations, especially when we could not get on a flight home, and returned to Baker's Suites for an additional 2 night stay. The location is the best, able to walk to great restaurants, the beautiful beach and water sports. Great Indian restaurant next door. You feel the beautiful vibe of Simpson Bay when staying at Baker's Suites. We have recommended to many people and look forward to returning.

Everything was wonderful, nothing to dislike.

Location was close to the beach; across the street. Accommodating staff, Room had a kitchenet. Clean

Room had wasted space, bathroom was huge but unappealing; long and wide. Living space could have been better served and more comfortable if bathroom wasn't so big. Kitchenet was functional. Being so close to the beach, large beach towels would have been a nice touch.

Very friendly staff. Ocean view was good. Great location, close to transportation, a variety of restaurants and great food. Nearby supermarkets.

The elevator was not fully functional. Only luggage was transported. The Ocean View Suite was smaller than the other rooms. Two persons utilized the room, the space was small for sharing.

The Hotel staff made me uncomfortable at check out. She went to check on my room and when she came back she didn't indicate that the room was OK and release the deposit hold of $100 off of my CC. I had a hold of $226 for both the deposit and the already paid nightly room charge on my CC for three more days. I also found fraudulent charges on my CC after three days. Coincident?

We stayed here for 3 Nights, and absolutely loved it here. The receptionists are all very helpful and responsive, even allowing us to store our suitcases at reception when we arrived very early, and helping us to book a taxi to the airport on our departure day. Thanks ladies!! The rooms are spotlessly clean with fully equipped kitchens (even have an electric oven and big fridge freezer!) The AC is nice and cold, The beds are really comfy and the bathroom is really clean. They have toiletries available, and even provide a dark face cloth for removing your make-up. We had a nice balcony to sit out in the morning and have a coffee from the perfectly sized coffee maker. The Indian restaurant attached has amazing food, and they give a discount to hotel guests. There is a good supermarket right around the corner, a great beach and a couple bars just steps away, but the area is quiet enough to sleep well in the night, and we felt safe and secure walking back in the evening, and sleeping in the room. This will definitely be our hotel of choice when we return to SXM.
