Nice location…..clean room

The location is absolutely perfect! Great vibe too, nice and relaxed. Don’t expect a super modern facility, but I personally like the bit-old fashioned and original accommodations, rather than the slick all-look-the-same ones. Friendly personnel too. We’d 100% go there again.

I just can’t get used to seeing birds in a cage. Come on people, it’s 2024!! This might have been an “acceptable thing” years ago but surely not any longer. Let them fly :)

The beach is private, beautiful, allows dogs and has a bar. What more could you want to relax for the day along with man’s best friend and a freshly made pina colada. The decor is quaint and colourful and like you’re in a village all to yourself. The staff were wonderful. My dog was spoiled with “hellos”. Thank you everyone at the hotel.

I really did not mind it, but some people who are on the grumpy side might find the next door Princess Juliana Airport runway a bit loud with the big aircraft, but plane spotters will love it. I did.

Beautifully positioned on the Beach, stayed here five years ago and the management has changed. The Hotel & the Dutch side of St. Maarten as a whole is moving away from the colonial Netherlands in the sun, to an extension of the USA. There is nothing wrong with that, but for me loosing that Dutch charm is a loss. The food has also moved to a more American menu, how much burger & ribs can you eat? Still fantastic weather, clean beaches, incredible waters. If you like the aircraft, a view roof for watching the take offs & landings, bit of fun.

This is the Netherlands West Indies, how about some traditional Dutch food, beers? Might want to sort out the back up genset, handy if any further blackouts. But great little hotel, if not a bit pricey now.

Mary Boon's is conveniently located near the Sint Maarten airport. The rooms open up onto the beach where one can enjoy the sand, sea and sunshine during the warm sunny days of beautifully cool nights - with a drink from the resort's bar. My room was clean and comfortable with a fan as well as AC. I could also open the windows (without the AC, of course) to let in the ocean breeze and hear the surf at night. A small grocery store a short walk away sells beer, milk, tea etc. The resort has a restaurant and several other restaurants and stores are a short walk in town.

The sound of planes landing and taking off from the airport can be a bit overpowering. However, Princess Juliana airport is not very busy and there are no flights at night so the sounds are not too disturbing.

The room was spacious but a little outdated. The beach was beautiful. The restaurant service was great as well as the manager Lyla. She make us feel so welcome every time we dine at the restaurant.

When I booked my stay the chargers was not included so I had to pay an additional $113. I was not happy because it take out from our spending money. Please booking.com can you all add the chargers to the amount of the bill and not haven't to be surprised on our arrival. Thank you

Stated in an ocean view room, the bed was HUGE like two mattresses thick. Room was great, had a little kitchenette that we didn't even use. We had beers at the Boon bar, able to walk along the beach and to Maho to see the airplanes land on a rainy day. Marys boon beach would be wonderful in the sun but we unfortunately didn't have much! Dinner at the Boon was alright for our first evening when we didn't know there were nicer places within walking distance. I had a suspiciously square mahi mahi but it tasted alright. Delicious piña colada!

Our waitress was a little moody for dinner. The lock on our bedroom door worked but seemed a bit wobbly.

The island vibe was great. The property is right on a sand beach with lovely views of the Simpson Bay area. The open-air restaurant and bar were great, and the food was excellent. Staff were helpful and the property was lush with greenery and a welcoming atmosphere. They have resident dogs, cats, fish, and “watch” turtles. Our unit was quaint.

Our unit was dated but that added to the atmosphere. We were right next to the airport runway, but flights ended early and the noise was not too bad.

This hotel was a original feel of the local island culture . The Style , the design of hotel , and indivisible mini bungalows. It’s Directly on the beach not far from the airport . Great location . Parking for those who may rent a car. One restaurant on the property over looking the beach .Great drinks and nice local dishes. . Friendly staff. Pet friendly for those who have pets. It’s a older style with unique designs to each unit. Clean beach . We only stayed one night . Small pool on property and pleasant surprise of birds on the property. I

The room we had was in the basement which was still nice … Just need a fresher smell in the room and in that local area also update the bedspreads and bedding and furniture but No real complaints .

Had a microwave in our room. Plugged into an outlet that didn't work. Once I moved it and plugged it into a different outlet, it worked great.

We arrived on a Saturday for one week. The pool was closed/ no water. Office staff said it should be ready by Tuesday. It wasn't ready until Friday so we only had one day to use it. That was very disappointing. We prefer the pool to the ocean because it's safer for non-swimmers like us.
