The rooms were gorgeous—warm, cozy, and equipped with excellent bathroom facilities, including a separate bathroom, shower, and toilet. My window offered a view of the river and the buildings across from it. The breakfast was also quite good. This hotel is located on a side street, giving it a more local and quiet feel. While it takes a bit longer to reach the main attractions of the city, I believe it's worth it, as you get to explore a more authentic, non-touristy part of the area
The main issues with this hotel are that the rooms are not serviced daily.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They were happy to hold our luggage for us until our room was ready. The hotel was clean and comfortable but not particularly special. A fine place to stay when you are passing through for a night as we were. There was a small cafe in the lobby where we were able to order some dinner and drinks but it closed at 6pm.
The room was small and the beds were quite hard. The room had a view out to the river but a tiny window so we couldn't really enjoy the view. The hotel was close to the train station but not close to the places that we wanted to visit around the city so we had to catch taxis to get around.

It was walking distance to railway station, river side location -,our rooms had river side views which was really nice! Staff at reception was really nice and very helpful - also explained to us how to get to the main sights. Breakfast was included in our rate and was very good too. We liked the breakfast room which was bright (day light) and also faced the riverside. Everything was very clean!
The standard room is very small and it is difficult to open a suitcase if you do t want to put it on your bed. But this size seems to be typical for japanese standard rooms.

Lovely View. Full block out blinds. Quiet. Bigger bed. Bath Modern and clean Cafe on site butwe didn’t have breakfast Luggage storage Good before and after. Staff very nice. 10 minute walk to station but make sure you take the south exit. Also, 10 minute walk to the bus that you can take to the castle (allow 1hr), Abomb dome and Peace Museum (allow1.5-2 hrs). Bus does loop of city and is covered by JR pass or ¥600 a day
Pillows were hard and bed a little firm But otherwise wonderful

Good location just a short walk from the main shinkansen train station. Not too far from a few tram stops too. We only stayed for one night, and the hotel and room had everything we needed. The staff were also very helpful when we asked for some directions. A man at reception gave us a map and explained it really clearly. Very useful if you're short on time! We really enjoyed visiting Hiroshima and this hotel and would definitely stay again if we have the chance.

Fantastic location on the riverbank a short walk from the station. Lovely room overlooking the river, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Having a bath as well as a shower was really great too after a long walk it was nice to lay back relax and have a soak. Very close to Shukukeien garden, don't forget to feed the Koi. A slightly longer but straight forward walk to Hiroshima Castle and The Peace Memorial and Atomic bomb museum (dont forget to take tissues, it's a very sad and humbling experience). Finally, the staff were wonderful, welcoming and very happy to assist.
Nothing to dislike at all.

The view of the river was nice to see with the city lights at night. I really liked the amount of pillows provided as I've been to some hotels in Japan and had one pillow so having 4 really made the bed comfortable. English speaking staff made for a smooth check in experience.
In the evening I would watch Netflix on my laptop and there was an occasional lag. This of course is due to me streaming, a regular use of wifi should be just fine. I also thought the breakfast was a little on the expensive side but there are options close by so it didn't cause an issue.

We recently stayed at The Royal Park Hotel Hiroshima Riverside, in room 1409, and were thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service and amenities. Here are some highlights from our experience: Nice and Helpful Staff: The staff were incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay. They offered us an early check-in since the room was already available, which was a pleasant surprise. Unlike other hotels that strictly enforce a 3 PM check-in time, the flexibility here was much appreciated. They also assisted us with getting a taxi and provided detailed advice on various ways to get to Miyajima from the property. Spacious and Comfortable Room: The room was nice and big, with two double beds and an extra bed added, yet there was still ample space to move around comfortably. This made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. Great Location: The hotel's location is excellent, just a 7-minute walk from Hiroshima Station. The proximity to the station made it very convenient for us to explore the city and its attractions. Quiet Neighborhood: Despite being close to the station, the hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, across the river, ensuring a peaceful stay. We highly recommend The Royal Park Hotel Hiroshima Riverside for families and will return on our next visit to Hiroshima.

First and foremost of the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive. I cannot thank enough the young gentleman that, even though he was working the night shift, when we approached him for help shipping our bags to Tokyo, he went out of his way to get the information we needed to get the baggage shipped safely. If it was anywhere else in the world, another would just shrug and say that they couldn't help us. The location was great and we had a great view from the room. The room was a bit small but quite lovely.
The breakfast could be more diverse. There was some smell from the bathroom pipes. For people travelling with big suitcases, we struggled a bit with the room size.

A wonderful hotel, I would even rate it a 4 star hotel instead of a 3 star hotel. Rooms were spacious, more than I expected, amenities were good quality stuff, aircon was nice and cold, air filter in room, beds were comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Was also only a "7 min" walk from Hiroshima Station (i walked slower because luggage). The park directly behind the hotel was also quite nice and relaxing to sit in and watch the riverside and some cherry blossoms. Good views from my 5th floor room too.
Can't really fault it for the price I paid. Can't think of anything negative at all. Maybe like a second vending machine?
