I've stayed at the Sheraton Tribeca on my last two visits to NYC. I liked it so much the first time that I re-booked it a year later. The hotel is very comfortable. I have had a Club room on both stays and that makes it very worthwhile. Breakfast is included and served in the Club room on the 21st floor. They also have an inclusive happy hour each night in the Club room. The roof terrace is also available for Club room visitors. My husband and I spent a lot of time on the roof terrace. Spectacular views, with comfortable seats. We went out there to read for a few hours each day and also sat out there and enjoyed the sunset with a bottle of wine a few times. The hotel is on Canal Street, so walking around SoHo, Chinatown, Little Italy and even Greenwich Village are all easy. There is a Canal Street stop on most subway lines too, so getting uptown or downtown is straightforward. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We were on the 19th floor this time with a spectacular view of the NYC skyline. I found all the staff to be professional and friendly. All in all, it's a very welcoming and comfortable hotel. I'd be reluctant to stay anywhere else, lest it didn't measure up.
The only reason I didn't give everything a 10/10 score was that we had two small issues. We found it difficult to set the air conditioning in our room. The lowest it would go is 68 degrees, which isn't awful, but my husband likes it quite cool when sleeping. The fan sometimes seemed to go off in the night too. The refrigerator in our room also was not working. When we looked into it, the wall socket seemed to be damaged so we unplugged it for safety reasons. These were minor issues though and did not impact our overall stay.

I liked that the room had a mini fridge, that it was cleaned every day and that they were changing the towels every day.
The receptionist at check-in was not helpful and made us charge our credit card twice. The double charge came off one week later though. They also charged first night plus damage deposit on the credit card I had put in for guarantee, which was european and I didn’t plan to charge. The damage deposit hasn’t been returned to me yet.

We’ve booked the hotel because of the top bar terrace witch is available for members only or for a fee of 60 extra dollars for the pair. Does not say clearly this on the booking web sites , other than that comfy beds , clean room , nice view

The hotel is located right between Tribeca and SOHO and as such perfect for people who want to do some shopping in all the nice shops in SOHO. You find the 9/11 Memorial and the new World Trade Center One in walking distance. It's easy to use public transportation since both subway entrance, bus stops and the ferry terminals are in close distance to the hotel. Staff is very friendly and all the way forthcoming. Every request was handled professionally and quick. The training facilities were good enough and they are open 24/7. we used the equipment and found it to be up to standard. It is small room but with enough space and equipment to enable several people to train at the same time.
We tried the hotel breakfast once and the food was good, the restaurant beautiful and the waitress couldn't have been more welcoming. Food is ordered Ala card and the coffee is being refilled. Being a vegan I found just oatmeal on the menu. Even if it hasn't become standard in the hospitality business to provide several alternatives for vegans I had hoped for more in that regard. But to be fair, I hadn't given notice in advance. Perfectly possible the kitchen had provided something if they had known.

This was our second stay at the Sheraton Tribeca and we can not fault the hotel. It's location is good, with the Canal Street subway just around the corner, it was easy to travel up, or downtown. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We booked a Club room and was allocated a room on a higher floor, so had great views! The room was very big, with floor to ceiling windows and a lovely big, comfy bed...we slept very well! The Club room gave us access to the Club lounge, where we could have breakfast in the mornings (eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, coffee, water etc.) and drinks and light snacks in the evenings (tortilla chips, dips, hot savouries, crudities, water, wine & beer etc.) The lounge leads out onto a big terrace, with ample seating and great views uptown! You can't smoke on the terrace, but you can take your food and drinks out and enjoy the New York skyline (I have included a picture of the view). This is all included in the price of the Club room and it was great to start the day with a good breakfast and end the day with a glass (or two) of wine before collapsing into bed, exhausted! We love New York and when we go again, will have no hesitation in staying at the Sheraton Tribeca!
I really don't have anything negative to write, our stay was fab and we would definitely stay again.

Great location, close to subway station, next to SoHo and a few minutes walk to the Hudson River. Beds were comfortable and great shower. Even though the rooms were a bit older, everything was clean and spacious enough, comfy beds and great shower.

the convenience to soho and great cafes. i also loved that this hotel is so clean. As a solo traveller going to New York for the first time, you hear so many horror stories but this accomodation was safe, clean and definitely worth the price

Close to SOHO/West Village where we spent most of the time. Canal street is not that fun but Green street has all the nice brands! Clublounge with breakfast and a drink in the afternoon was nice. Need more tables and chairs in the lounge. Outdoor terrace was under renovation and closed. Thanks to Jerome at the frontdesk for his help and service!
We booked a Club King room because of the size, 290 sqf, (27sqM), but the rooms have different size. We got a much smaller cornerroom, also Clublevel, but after some discussion we got the right size from the second night.

The position of the hotel is ideal: it’s located along Canal Street, which is one of the most important main street of Downtown Manhattan; almost every Metro line of Manhattan has a stop, called “Canal Street”, near or not far from the hotel: so, the hotel is very well served; another positive aspect of the location of the hotel is that it’s located near Tribeca, Nolita and Soho districts; in particular, Soho is, a quarter full of life (restaurants, pubs, shops, etc.); in addiction, the building of the hotel is bordering with the Postal Office. From outside to inside, the hotel has rooms with an amazing view, looking on the Empire State Building; it has a lounge (21st floor) with roof terrace, in which you can have your breakfast. The rooms are very well cleaned and large enough with an elegant shower box; the staff is kind and polite: my wife and me have been helped by a young concierge, Wilmar, who solved a problem for us: we arrived in hotel early in the morning after a night flight. Of course, the room was not ready for check-in but Wilmar let us to use the restrooms and to have a breakfast in the lounge on the roof terrace.
Absolutely nothing.

It's an excellent option if you want to stay in Manhattan and not pay a fortune for your stay. I loved the room I was offered -- the view was ah-mazing! Lots of good good restaurants nearby, as well as the famous Soho high-end boutiques. The food I ordered from the hotel restaurant was also top quality. Overall, I'm pleased with the service and amenities.
The location is generally good but the hotel is right on the Canal Street and there's lots of traffic and noise 24/7. I stayed on the 18th floor so the noise was fairly okay, and I can only imagine how bad it can be for the lower floors. The street vendors who sell all those fake goods are very close too, and inevitably attract a lot of weird crowds. Also, the hotel staff was a bit weird, with somewhat "robotic" good manners and didn't even look at me when they talked to me (excluding the guy who assisted me at checkin who was very nice). Same for the staff who got my restaurant order on the phone.
