I love that this hotel is so close to my daughter’s NYU dorm and only a block away from the Canal St subway station. It’s super clean and the staff is AMAZING! I don’t think I’ve had a more helpful front desk staff anywhere I’ve ever stayed. They’re friendly and happy to help. I describe the rooms as very zen - super relaxing. The lighting is ideal - so many options! - recessed overhead light, recessed lower light, and lighting options next to the bed. If you’re in NYC to visit, it’s super close to Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho and Tribeca, you just walk in different directions. Also only a short walk to City Hall and the Financial District. Everything else accessible with the yellow and green subway lines within a block or two, red line also close by. Lots of restaurants nearby. A great value, especially considering it’s almost brand new (only opened a couple years ago). I also appreciate that there is a 7-11 around the corner open all hours for bottles of water or snacks.

This hotel is really a hidden gem in NYC. Price/quality, you wouldn't find much better. The location was great, with the metro just around the corner. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious. And enough variation in the breakfast buffet. But the best part were the staff. Every single staff member will do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Many luxery hotels can learn from them. I was supposed to stay at the Hilton instead of this one. But cause price discussion during booking, I cancelled my booking at Hilton, I even asked them to erase my membership (which I better didn't do it, cause Best Western will match your membership from other hotels!!) Never step foot again in a Hilton.

Although the variation in breakfast was good. Would have love seen the possibility to have a boiled egg... :-) And the room was very spacious, but I was missing a closet for my clothes. But I guess you can't have it all. Other than that, everything was just top

The Hotel has been open for only two weeks. It sparkles! The fixtures and decor have a high end feel. Room lighting was great. The window treatments were were black out and solar shades to filter and block light. Bed was very comfortable. Staff friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again as a Downtown value option.

Just stayed there for 9 nights as a couple and being aware that this is Manhattan and space is expensive: the room is certainly not spacious, but pleasant and functional. The bed is comfortable. We slept well every night. The room was kept clean on a daily basis. Breakfast was not overwhelming but good - appreciated the orange juice. And being able to make use of that common space throughout the day was helpful. The coffee machine in the lobby was a life saver as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. So given that you don’t come to New York to stay in your room longer than necessary this is a really good choice: it hooks you up with the basics very well and provides a very good starting point to explore the city! It could use a means to hide away bags and cases.

The hotel and the room were clean, which is our number 1 criteria when we chose this hotel, and we were not disappointed. We also appreciated the coffee machine at the room, and the unlimited free coffee, tea, and cold water at the reception. The hotel location is perfect, since it is in the midpoint between SOHO, TRIBECA, LITTLE ITALY, and CHINA TOWN, which meant that most activities we enjoyed were at walking distance, like The Comedy Store, The Roxy/Django Jazz Club, The Brooklyn Bridge, Many Shopping Store, and a lot of great restaurants and bars. Reuben and Nichole from the Front Desk, went out of their ways to make our stay more comfortable. Also the housekeepers, Giselle, Jessica, and Monica kept our room super clean and tidy throughout our stay. Overall everyone from the staff was super helpful and friendly.

We found everything but the breakfast to be outstanding. Great room, spacious, clean and beautifully lit; very friendly and knowledgeable staff; we loved the free lattes and iced waters (the orange slices were a great touch, too!) in the lobby. Also very happy about the possibility to securely have our luggage stored until our room was ready so we could already venture out to explore the city, and again after checkout so we could take a last walk before our airport pickup.

The hot breakfast was great, but we would have liked some more healthy cold breakfast choices (natural unflavored yoghurt without added sugar, unflavored oatmeal, cheese slices, margarine, to just name a few). Also, why not put another coffee machine like in the lobby down there instead of the mediocre filter coffee?

I loved the hotel's location: the neighbourhood is great, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance, and the subway connection is perfect in all directions. The breakfast was sufficient for us, if you add some vegetables would be just great. To me, there were plenty of amenities in the hotel, such as coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby, the possibility to take breakfast away, a gym, and luggage storage. The room was small but well designed in a way that it was equipped with all the necessities and more (coffee machine, iron desk) and very comfortable. We got the backyard view room, and it was very quiet in the night. The wifi was great, which was important for us, as we didn't have a US number. Last but not least, the staff of the hotel is just lovely! I always felt welcomed and never had the impression that I was bothering someone. They were all very helpful, kind, and approachable (especially the front desk staff, but also the cleaning team, breakfast team and everyone). They made our stay comfortable, easy and carefree. Special greetings to Nichole and also the lady who welcomed us the day we arrived (I am sorry, I don't remember the name). You are all great, and I hope to visit you again!

We enjoyed the breakfast very much. That was the reason why we chose this hotel in the first place. The building is pretty new or it has been recently renovated. Each room has an iron and an ironing board. We needed to attend a wedding so having an the iron was very convenient to us. Each room also has a small fridge. We put our drinks and beverages in the fridge. The location is not particularly great, but it is close to subway stations and walking distance from the Brooklyn Bridge and the Wall Street area. You can literally walk to Brooklyn.

The AC is max 75, I wish we could set it higher.

Great and safe location, close to many metro lines. Room was well cleaned everyday. All staff was very friendly and helpful, would like to say good words about administrator Sasha, she was incredibly helpful, prepared list of restaurants and small cafes nearby where she recommend to have a meal(with approx price range), as well this trip was birthday gift for my boyfriend and they made small but very nice greeting for us in the room. We are very happy that we decided to stay in this hotel! Highly recommended

Internet was a bit laggy, coffee could be better on breakfast and variety of food could be bigger
