Corner room on the 9th floor had a great view over the city! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant had great breakfast! And we loved the overall vibe of the hotel. Also the location was exactly what we were looking for, not too busy, close to soho, with bikes and subways just around the corner.

We know rooms are quiet small in NY and this room was no difference. The door to the toilet/shower was a sliding door on rails, which didn't give much privacy. So might not be for everyone ...

Like many of you, I read reviews on here and Google. As someone who spends about 50 nights a year in NYC, I wanted to walk through what I've read. I know many of you will be visiting our great city, and you want to make the most out of it. Location – You will be in an amazing location. I mean amazing. You can walk to the West Village, East Village, Lower East Side, WTC, Wall Street, Little Italy, and you're in Chinatown. These are the areas I spend most of my time in as a local. You're out of the Times Square madness but you can be there in 15 minutes on the subway. You have access to the N, R, Q, W, the 6, the J, Z, and A, C, E trains. I cannot stress how convenient that is. There isn’t a spot worth going to in NYC that you can’t get to with those trains. I’m talking about taking those subway lines and being within a block of Rockefeller Center, the American Museum of Natural History, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Madison Square Park, Williamsburg, Union Square, and more. (little fun spot is you're a few blocks away from the Ghostbuster fire house. It is still an active firehouse and super cool to visit, Google FDNY Ladder 8) Noise – You're off Canal Street. Canal is nuts. You’re in NYC, off a very busy road. You can stay in a quieter area, but you won’t have the same access to subways and great neighborhoods. It’s a trade-off. If you want a true NYC experience, it includes ambulances and loud engines at all hours of the night. Bring a white noise machine. Rooms – They’re small. Probably the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. That said, they are very clean and well-appointed. When we are in the city, we try to spend as little time in the room as possible, so this wasn’t a problem for us. Hotel – Outside of the rooms, the hotel has everything I’d want: a great restaurant if you don’t feel like going out, an excellent coffee bar with every custom drink you could want, and a fantastic bar and lounge scene, perfect for just chilling there.

Definitely need a better way to regulate the temp in the rooms. The thermostat doesn't really do anything. Based on reviews and our experience they seem to have a lot of elevator issues.

Great location with access to several subway lines. On the boarder of Little Italy and Chinatown, with tons of dining choices in the direct area, including late night pizza slices. This is my third time using booking.com to stay at this hotel because of savings and transparency. The staff is very accommodating and attentive.

The TV system is a bit antiquated and flaky (based on several stays in different rooms). There are limited channels and info but does have a good youtube app, mirror cast, and blutooth.

Great location. The lobby, restaurant and rooms are well designed. The staff was very helpful

The room is small, but laid out cleverly; I really liked the efficient layout with the elevated bed right on the window! However, unfortunately the room showed some substantial wear and tear (door frame, closet and under-bed cabinetry). Of all the lights in the room, only the vestibule light and wall sconces were working; the window blinds needed forever to pull up. I asked the staff at reception to have someone check it out. They sent a super later that day, but he could only fix the blind. I really love the place (it was my second stay there), but now the signs of wear and tear in the rooms become more obvious. Definitely needs some TLC!

I always feel very welcome at the Walker Tribeca and I love the boutique feeling of this hotel. The staff is always very accommodating and the rooms feel very modern and clean.

By a stroke of bad luck, we were awoken twice in one night by the fire alarm going off. There wasn't a very uniform system to ensure that guests were evacuated, and there was also no notice from staff to let guests know that it was a false alarm both times. Better communication would have ameliorated the stress of that unfortunate situation.

The king room was mostly bed but the excellent layout made sure you could store your bags, read in a little nook, do your makeup while your partner showers, and then retire to an excellent bed. I have to emphasize that the bed was so comfortable, and really in New York City that's all you need! Shower pressure was also very good. Plus, the staff were excellent, got me a toothbrush, charged my phone, accepted a takeout order on my behalf, etc.

Don't be fooled-- there are two remotes that control the shades, but only one of them works! That mildly confused me but I called reception and they immediately told me what's up.

Excellent value for NYC. The hotel is in a great location for getting around either on foot or on the subway (I had meetings from the Upper West Side down to Wall Street, and it was very convenient). My room was small but well organized, with plenty of hanging space and hangers for a 3-day trip. The bed was very comfortable, including an excellent pillow. Possibly the only drawback was there was only one shelf for clothes, and that was high up. Also, the rooftop bar is a lovely spot at the end of the day.

The only problem was the wifi. It was so slow while I was there that it was functionally useless. I got by with the hotspot on my phone.

We had a wonderful stay at Walker Hotel Tribeca. The best feature of the hotel is Shauna Harley. The first night we had technical difficulties with the room and Shauna was a lovely host and took care of us. She was there for us to make us feel comfy got us immediately another room and for the inconvenience we got a breakfast voucher and bar vouchers. I would recommend every hotel should have a capable employee like Shauna!

When moving rooms we left a magnifying mirror in the room. Although we quickly noticed, the mirror was no longer to be found.

Very well situated. Great restaurant which opens at 7am every day. Ideal for starting your day of sightseeing with a delicious breakfast. Rooms clean & tidy. Fantastic roof bar & basement jazz club.

Staff could be a bit unfriendly at first. We booked an accessible room but there were no drawers & no rail in the wardrobes to hang any clothes up! Big problem when you’re staying for a week! Reception immediately bought a freestanding clothes rail up & gave us two free drinks at the bar for the inconvenience so everyone was happy.

The hotel is very close to various subway lines. There are many beautiful shops, galleries, and restaurants around the hotel. I chose a room on a higher floor because I read a review mentioning some noise during the night. It was a great choice, even though I had to wait for a higher room at check-in.

The lobby was on a lower level, so we had to go down several steps to check in. The Wi-Fi seemed slow. There are public restrooms next to the lobby, which appeared to be shared with people from the restaurants and cafes above, and there was always a line to get in.
