The staff was super friendly. I'm normally not a needy person but the day of check in things were just a little crazy on our end. The staff showed patience and was very attentive to our needs. I forgot the names of the 2 ladies that assisted us but they did a great job. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing too extravagant but served its purpose.

The prices was a little more expensive than what we feel it should have been for what we got. I get it was a holiday weekend but it was overpriced. The breakfast was ok, meats were not on the menu. And there were homeless people in the back on our end. It's beyond the hotels control but it was a little alarming. Parking lot was a tight squeeze.

The front desk attention ! Thanks to the help of Shanté it was possible for us to check in after Booking cancelled my reservation and I didn’t even know because it was confirmed in my account. But Shanté was so attentive ,helpful and kind to make us feel welcome. It was nice to meet people like her. We all enjoyed the pool especially our daughters. The breakfast was good and variety every day. The lady who was in charge of the breakfast was also kind and attentive.

The breakfast room was small.

The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. For a King size room, it had a nice sitting chair with an ottoman, microwave, small refrigerator, and coffee pot. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. I also liked the breakfast. In the lobby the staff showed us the daily list of the main food items, so you'll know what to expect. Aside from the main food items, they had: a waffle maker, bagels, bread, pastry, fruits, yogurts, boiled eggs, cold cereal, oatmeal, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and various juices. It was all set up very nice and very appealing. It was close to a lot of eateries.

Nothing disappointed us.

My family travels to the outerbanks every year, and we use this location as a stopping point for the night. We have stayed at a few disappointing hotels over the years. But we can't say enough about the best Western. The last 2 years have been great. The staff is amazing and the facilities are in great shape. I chose this hotel because of the reviews. Look at them. They are all on point.

The property was clean , and quiet and very accommodating, they even text you to check in and ask if you need anything through their automated system . Staff was friendly , free breakfast . Room was clean , they were able to accommodate us last minute . Would stay again !

The pool was a little small . And a little further away from the beach than desired .

The staff here is TOP NOTCH!! We were in town for a softball tournament and left our hotel we had originally booked- due to many issues there. The staff here let us check in early and look at our rooms prior to checking in to make sure we’d be happy! The room was clean and comfy. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff here. The breakfast was great! The woman who prepares breakfast was also super sweet & really works so hard to make sure everything is taken care of!

The desk staff was really warm and professional. The breakfast was great, but the waffle batter tasted off. Immediately the desk staff told the manager ( i believe) on duty, who was sulky, glared at me, without tasting it, or addressing it herself, and changed it, then stormed off. That tainted an otherwise fabulous experience. The guests at the next table noticed and commented on her nasty demeanor. Great job on cleanliness and friendliness of everyone but the rude white lady in the office. Room was immaculate, parking lot well lit. Breakfast was the freshest, biggest spread I've seen in 10 hotel stays this year.

The front desk employee knew we had an early flight and would leave before breakfast was served the next morning and she made and brought us to go breakfast bags to our room that night. We got fruit, yogurt, granola bar, bagel and muffin. So thoughtful and appreciated! She made our stay very memorable as well as being so sweet upon checkin

Breakfast was very good, especially the crisp, thin bacon!!!! The dining area was quite crowded, and we had to wait a couple of minutes for a table to open (at 9:00 a.m.). The food area was a bit cramped. The staff was outstanding.

On checkout, I notified the front desk that the bathtub drain was slow (when I turned off the shower I was still standing in an inch or two of standing water), and the shower curtain had some mold on the bottom. The staff member wrote everything down and apologized, indicating she was taking immediate action to remedy those two things. In addition, there was a grimy ring around the top of waterline in the pool. I noticed that the pool was vacuumed every day, towels and chairs arranged, but clearly it had been a long time since the waterline had been cleaned.

Really enjoyed our stay, if you’re looking for something not right on the beach and cheaper, this is it. Check in staff was super nice, even gave us snack bags at check in. Outside pool was nice. They offer good hot breakfast. Room was clean and parking very close which I liked. Definitely had no complaints.
