Great location; beach front with beautiful landscape. Also in front of the bus stop. Dorm room has AC. Also there are organized activities for group such as evening hike to sunset viewpoint.

Kitchen doesn’t have vent/fan, so it gets really hot and flies get in! The shower and toilet is a bit far from my dorm room. The toilets are dirty in the morning since the hostel has a restaurant/bar onsite. The swimming pool is dirty.

location was fantastic to sit & watch the moon rising over the water &the sea laping the sand just feet away awesome the island bus stopped right out front &because it was to west of ferry never missed getting to ferry whereas passengers on Horseshoe Bay side could not always do so the bus drivers very helpful the staff at the hostel were fabulous nothing was too much trouble & they went out of their way to help food was great fell in love with the "dirty fries" so crisp & crunchy

having coke cola either behind the bar or in the machine i tlhink pepsi is horrible need to put the outside door back on the female toilets in block used for casual staff

You expect it to get grubby because it's an island, but the bathrooms need a deep clean and the rooms too! Cobweb galore and being so close to the ceiling, and its a terrifying thought of having a spider living amongst them. Water tastes terrible. Beds seem like it's a matter of of time before they collapse, old and fragile

The view from the room was amazing. That alone made it worth it! Burgers were also good and the snorkel right at the front (Nelly Bay) was the best we had the entire trip. Can’t fault the location. We took buses and Beam (e-scooters), both conveniently located near the accommodation.

Mattress wasn’t the most comfortable, but for the price/ this being a backpackers it wasn’t totally a surprise. Just be warned if you’re someone picky about such things. You’re mainly paying for view and location!

The pool was nice, nice social area with things on at the bar in the evenings. Desk staff helpful when advising about exploring the island and happy to provide cold water from the bar. Beautiful view and the perfect spot to watch sunrise meters from your room.

No lockers in the dorms, although there was plenty of space to add them. The kitchen closes at 9am and the bar stools serving food at 8pm, this wasn't advised at check in. There are no shops or takeaway near by so if you arrive back just before 9 as we did one day you are left with no dinner! Not great. Women's toilets also stunk of wee, I don't think the floor was moped over the weekend. WiFi doesn't work and there is very little reception, none in the rooms which is not helpful when the rooms use goki! Had to carry a slip of paper round with me with the room code on, not ideal when showering. The hostel could have been great but small things like this let it down. Easily fixed by keeping the kitchen open later, having working WiFi and cleaning the floors.

I’ve been in many hostels so far and this is definitely the best one! With its pool, the amazing location directly on the beach and its own bar & restaurant it feels more like a hotel than a hostel. There are events every evening from karaoke to live DJs and it’s the most popular place for the locals to come and party there as well. The staff at the reception was super nice and went above and beyond to help me with all my enquiries. This place ensures you a good time!

Wow! What a view! Have never stayed in a hostel before and at 50+ we kinda never expected to, but the views from these little beach huts enticed us in and we gave it a shot! The private bungalows are en-suite with basic facilities, kettle, fridge, tv, aircon , tea/coffee and fresh towels. We were a bit dubious as we joined all the young ‘uns on the Island bus and got off at ‘ Nomads’ but were pleasantly surprised! Staff really welcoming, site was well set up for the many backpackers that come and go, but we didn’t feel out of place and ate at the bar on our first night and have to say, the food was awesome! Spot on Island burger and dirty fries! Yes, it’s basic but the views more than make up for it, yes, the music is loud, but it quietens off at midnight and I’d definitely recommend a visit. The night skies too were amazing from the bungalow as on a quiet part of the island…only the Hostel along that stretch of road. Can’t review the hostel facilities as didn’t use those bits but if you’re thinking of trying out the bungalows…don’t think, just do it!

Strange marks in bottom of shower tray, but think it’s just varnish from when they’ve just done out the hut!

Location is stunning, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the kitchen has new cookware, stovetops, air fryers and other new appliances. The entertainment was great, and there were often reduced prices for happy hours. The bar food was great, especially the Rosemary salt fries. Bus stop at the door or an easy walk to groceries and other shops. Beautiful beach out front.

The room was small but very cute. The place is so beautiful. Party vibes but quiet after midnight so you can sleep !

Toilets/showers are very dirty (but lot of drunk english people so, not staff fault...) Also no place to put your stuff in the shower. As the room Key is on the phone, am I suppose to take a shower with my phone on the floor ? 😅 Kitchen is the smallest I ever seen ! And close at 9pm ?! Not everyone eat dinner in the afternoon, some of us are use to cook after 9pm 😅 No locker and no curtains...

Every room is its own little hut. Well equipped kitchen and big pool and common area. Every night event at bar/restaurant and two happy hours.

No curtains in dorm, no power outlet/light next to bed. Top of the huts, directly above top bunk very dirty.
