Very spacious, yet homely place. It is very quiet, although only 10 min walk to the main strip of Horseshoe Bay village. Two doors down is Selina, where you can join fir a number of fun activities (yoga, trivia, bird feeding, different classes), meet lovely backpackers from all around the world and have a meal. And then return to the comfort and privacy of you room at the True North. Deb is a lovely hist and the breakfast are very very good (and generous!)

There was nothing I did not like.

A lovely room with a comfy bed and everything you need for a few nights stay on Beautiful Magnetic Island!! The breakfast options delivered to your room at a time of your choice are delicious. Deb was so friendly and accommodating, nothing is to much trouble. Deb was also very knowledgeable and gave us some great advice on things to do on the Island. We spent one afternoon sipping drinks on the back deck and swimming in the pool. The house also has a large fully equipped kitchen that we used one of the nights during our stay. All in all our stay at True North B&B was delightful, we will definitely stay here again next time we visit the Island.

There is nothing I didn't like about our stay at True North B&B. Great Value for Money.

We had one of the back rooms. Lovely green view over palms and distant rock outcrops. Room was well equipped with enough kitchen utensils to make meals in room. Restaurants an easy walk to eat out along the beach front. Lots of areas to relax outside the room with lovely verandahs. Friendly host Deb ensured we had everything we needed and provided healthy breakfast. Bus stop close by. A top notch bnb!

We should have stayed longer!!

Awesome location, lovely host, delicious breakfast, comfortable room with a great balcony. Thoughtful additions like torches to walk to the restaurants nearby and beach chairs to use. We were also lucky to get picked up from the ferry terminal when we arrived!

This is a characterful BnB that is very comfortable and is situated just a short walk from the small collection of shops and restaurants in the beautiful Horseshoe Bay. There is a good selection offered for breakfast, which is brought to your room in the morning. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony overlooking tropical gardens and watching and listening to the wildlife.

True North is oozing with character, comfort and amazing cooked breakfasts. Deb is friendly and being a local gives great advice. It is a short walk from stunning beaches, pub and eateries. Transport around the island is cheap and keeps great time making the island easily accessible. It is close to walks with breath taking views and history. What’s not to love!

I can’t think of one thing.

Absolutely loved this place! It far exceeded our expectations and photos do not do it justice. Everything was impeccably clean, Deb was attentive, warm and a fabulous chef. The breakfasts were certainly a highlight! The room was so thoughtfully appointed and had everything you could possibly need. The location was fantastic and sits right between two bus stops, with the beach just being a short walk away. The backpackers next door offered a great happy hour and daily lorikeet feeding, which was a treat!

Nothing at all! Everything was better than imagined so we were thrilled to return to our cozy abode each day.

It was a wonderfully equipped en suite room, with microwave, coffee making equipment etc, enclosed by a verandah 2 sides, upstairs in a large Queenslander style house. It is in a lush tropical garden. We were able to sit on our own verandah to eat breakfast, even seeing wallabies in the vacant area next door. The breakfasts were superb with a wonderful choice. Deb is a very friendly and helpful hostess and went out of her way to make us comfortable and help us with our return journey to Townsville. We hope we will be able to return to stay there one day.

There was nothing we disliked! It is a 10 minute flat walk to Horseshoe Bay, only 2 blocks from the bus stop.

the location was great, easy safe walk to the beach. The whole building is beautiful and full of charm and beauty, fab views and great gardens. Our room was amazing, wonderfully decorated and had everything we needed. The shower was clean and the bathroom and kitchen were great. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, great choice with time options for what time you would like it delivered to your room. Magical place.

Breaky was lovely, came on time and wad hot, the suburb was quiet, the house itself was absolutely beautiful. Would be a great place to stay if you were travelling as a group.

I dont think there was anything we didnt like. The overall experience was very easy and we would stay again for sure
