The location and property are beautiful. Staff very welcoming and helpful
Unfortunately no food options available for dinner, and also no beer/wine available for purchase. The restaurant wasn’t open just yet… The bathroom is very streamlined… no practical option for applying makeup etc in front of the mirror. I can understand the limitations of the space… Could easily be resolved with the addition of a small shelf above the sink and below the fixed mirror!

A lovely property situated on the outskirts of town. Peaceful and attractive on a lovely parcel of land. An excellent view from our pavilion room. Watching the animals graze was relaxing. A nice on site restaurant with nice outlook and good service from the staff. Very convenient for returning the next morning to the airport for our flight home.
Parking is not next to the unit as you’d expect with this type of accommodation. So if it’s raining have a brolly ready. We chose the more expensive unit which had a nice outlook.. but the cheaper ones wouldn’t be as good.

Beautiful location with amazing views of the bay. The full length double glazed windows and and private balcony of the Bay View Rooms provide uninterrupted views and keep the room warm and comfortable. There is a sense that a great deal of intelligent thought has been placed in the design of the accommodation and facilities to ensure that guests have a relaxed yet inviting experience . The restaurant was impressive and breakfast delicious. The Estate has a relaxed but polished vibe. The staff are professional, yet friendly. The farm animals an absolute treat. This was our third visit.

We booked a one night stop into Iron Creek Bay Estate on our way north up the east coast of Tasmania. A warm, friendly and efficient greeting on arrival and into a truly fantastic suite with views across the fields and to the water - and animals aplenty. We took up the option to feed the animals (ducks, chickens, horses, sheep, peacocks - what a treat. The furnishings and facilities in the room were excellent to include what felt like in floor heating? Very modern fittings too.
Regretfully, the restaurant was closed which required us to go back into Sorell for dinner and to grab some nibbles for breakfast. We appreciated the reason for this - the Estate was very quiet and there was insufficient patronage to justify opening the restaurant.

The communication with them was easy and timely. The location was nice. It's quiet, and not in the busy part of the town. I felt safe walking at all hours. Great gym, clean. Washer and dryer a HUGE plus. But expensive. Free parking. You can feed the animals in the farm. They have a restaurant in the location, I did not eat there. Their views were amazing.
They had one washer that was ($5) for 28 minutes of washing and ($2) for 5 minutes of drying. They only took coins. Depending on where they locate your room, parking is not in front of the rooms, you have to walk and I had bulky luggage. Water pressure was not great. We went during the cold season, it was raining and 7 degrees C. Their heating system is controlled by their maintenance people and I, it took an hour to get the room at a comfortable temperature. The rooms have paper thin walls and throughout the evening a man would walk out in the "shared" patio and talk on the phone and smoke, he did this 5 times. I wish they asked people to be quiet near the entrance and not smoke in that area.

The service from the get go was exceptional; timely, professional and kind. The view was great and the facilities were clean and neat. We had a view of alpacas and sheep from our balcony, with chickens and ducks wandering around, with other animals in view. The restaurant was a close walk from the accommodation and the food was reasonably priced, tasted great and had wonderful serivce.
Was unsure on how friendly the turkeys were, particularly when they were outside of the houses. When removing our bags from the room near checkout time our keycard stopped working and our last bag got locked in, but reception was able to give me a working one so I was able to grab the last bag and checkout.

I loved this place! It is gorgeous. Our room was modern, clean and the attention to detail on the little things like the soft textures on the cushions made it even better. Bed was so comfortable. Shower was fabulous. I would recommend paying the extra for a view because we couldn't see much from our room. It is a little bit out of town but then it is a farm stay. The farm is gorgeous and it took all my strength not to pick the ripe apricots. Luckily, we were treated some before leaving and they didn't disappoint. There are all sorts of birds and their chicks roaming around, like peacocks. There are many other animals like horses and alpacas. I would definitely recommend for families and people wanting a peaceful break. Staff were friendly and professional. Wished we had a longer stay and more time to explore.
Room fridge had no freezer compartment and was a bit small.

This place is amazing. We got the house with 3 bedrooms. All the bedrooms were spacious and with a sky light. Bathrooms had rain showers and lovely amenities. The living space and dining room are perfect for families and group travelling. The farm animals were cute and you could feed them! I highly recommend this place and will come back again. The balcony and the views is amazing too.
Nothing. This place is really breathtaking

Great views and location, easy access from the highway. The rooms are minimalist but well appointed - loved the small balcony in the suite as well as the floor to ceiling windows in the hallway of the pavilion with a view of the working farm and various farm animals. I could not fault the staff - all very helpful.
Access to the carpark was a walk away - older people may have a problem. The only downside was the restaurant - not much variety and mediocre - I expected a more interesting menu. Perhaps the animal statues in the gardens could be changed to Tasmania devils, possums, wombats instead of panda and white deer. The art prints in the pavilions could be updated - they really don't suit the decor.
