Less than 2 blocks from the Plaza and yet a very quiet location, this is a perfect place to stay in Santa Fe. The room was excellent. There was a heating problem in my room (it was winter and cold) and they fixed it very quickly. I was impressed by how they handled it, and the heat was great after the maintenance man came. In the lounge, the fireplace and big, comfy couches were nice in the evening.

The bathroom could use some updates — there's an older-style bathtub that is slippery when you shower, and absolutely nothing to grab onto (I don't usually need to grab anything, but not all tubs are so slippery!).

We loved the location, the decor and the pool. All the valet guys were great. The coffee shop was a perfect stop in the morning, super friendly staff in there also. Spa was great and also had great staff. The pool is amazing to sit in or near day or evening. We also loved having a drink in the evening near the fireplace or fire pits.

I realize it’s a historic hotel but for the price the room was a little dated particularly the bathroom and not in a charming way. Also we splurged on the Terazza room but it was overlooking the parking lot and we could hear cars from the street.

Warm services. Wonderful location and buildings. GREAT view, as you are in the national park. lovely stores.

The stay was perfect until— our car was side swiped by a tour bus in the hotel’s parking lot. It cost us half day to deal with the accident. The hotel’s security did helped though, under our firm request we obtained the hit-and-run tour bus driver’s ID and insurance info, which should be required by hotel in the first place, instead of a name and a hand written telephone number. Furthermore there is no official apologies from the hotel nor intention of any discount…Helped by the security and hotel’s manager, we finally filed a report to the police…we hope there will be better management of their parking lot. Hope no more such accident will happen to other guests in the future to ruin their mood.

The location is superb and the facility itself of excellent quality and well maintained. The staff with the possible exception of the bar very friendly and service oriented.

We had 2 king rooms and a double room. The double room space was less than ideal. Many of the hotel spaces were awkwardly located but that is probably the result of dealing with a classic older building. The coffee was quite weak and the tea and wine selection limited at the coffee shop. It is a bit overpriced in my estimation.

Very nice fresh hotel with a very cozy lobby/bar. The astonishing exterior of the hotel and its central location puts you right in the middle of Santa Fe atmosphere. Free parking was a very nice surprise.

The staff hospitality was so/so. As an exemple, I never received a responce when I emailed to the hotel prior my arriving. It would be better to have a breakfast buffet in the hotel.

The staff were friendly, helpful, excited about making our stay as enjoyable as possible. Everyone of them seemed happy doing whatever needed to be done. Front desk, housekeeping, valet parking , restaurant staff. The room was decorated in beautiful southwest style with a comfortable bed, hot water and good pressure in shower, a window that could be opened. The fresh, cool Santa Fe air made for relaxed sleep with that open window. Beautiful art displayed throughout the main floor.

Every memory of our stay makes me smile. Do not change anything.

Beautiful setting in the heart of an incredible city. Close to all the culture of Santa Fe's downtown. Characteristic building. Yummy complimentary coffee in the cafe and delicious breakfast in the restaurant.

The room was a touch dark and shabby (chipped sink and toilet, low ceiling in the bathroom, a little dark), but hey, the building is hundreds of years old! And the housekeeping knocking at 8:30am (especially when the admin knew our big group arrived at 3am) was a little off.

It’s a beautiful hotel right in the middle of Santa Fe Historic town. It’s most photographed hotel in Santa Fe. All attractions, restaurants and shops are in walking distance. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurants have good breakfast and dinner options if you decide to dine in. In the lobby of the hotel you will find boutique shops owned by local artists.

The pool was amazing and felt very much like a resort pool. I loved the special touches around the lobby like coffee vouchers for guests and infused water to drink! Hotel was very clean and front staff were friendly and kind.

It drives me crazy when someone in a customer service position is using their personal phone and waits to help you until they are done texting, which happened both mornings I went to get coffee inside the hotel.

Exterior was clean and beautiful. The lobby area was very cozy and beautiful. The rooms were tastefully done without going "over the top". The valet people were super-nice and accomodating.

The knowledge of the front desk people were VERY poor, we were sent on a "wild goose-chase" to a place that was closed. The dining room (for breakfast) were not creative and the menu was basic at best for a VERY expensive price.... not appreciated :( You guys would be better off creating a fresh buffet with fruits, cheeses, artisan bread, cereal bar- like most high-end hotels and just charge a flat fee, so much more enjoyable for the guests!
