It just needs a few little touches the make it 4.5 star to 5 star. You have the framework for an exceptional stay. It just needs warming up in places. Here’s my recommendations: The lights are too bright in the villa, it needs some dimmer switches The onsen lights need to point up not down, we moved them to make it less bright, it was better this way There is a curtain for privacy in the living room, but not one in the bathroom! The lounge needs just softening a little, dim the lights, have a few plants inside. Your butter for the bread should be slightly salted Crispy Onion on the salad isn’t my choice for morning breakfast, I’d change it for something lighter and fruitier. No USB ports in the room, we later found an adapter but could use more USBs

this was my fifth time in japan and this is probably the best stay ive had. the property is newly built so it was immaculately clean (although no housekeeping, we were there for two nights). the staff is incredible, friendly and warm. the breakfast delivered to our room everyday was amazing. i recommend booking at least one dinner at the restaurant, the food and service were exceptional. the complimentary light meal was already good enough. they also have a store a couple of steps away from the hotel where they sell a lot of high quality souvenirs. the free winery tour and wine were a nice touch.

7c Villas and Winery. Near Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. Fabulous zen like modern place. Wood furnishings and even a heated floor for the cooler days and nights. Excellent heating system. Rain shower. Private deep ofuro - Japanese style bath tub in your own outdoor walled off courtyard with seating are looking out on your private garden. We stayed in a Mt room (Mt. 6) but I think all the mountainside rooms would be similar. Amenities include pajamas, lounge wear, Uniqlo warm insulated rain coats (when it’s cold), rubber clogs (like crocs) to wear outside. In room modern coffee grinder and kettle. Amazing and full breakfast brought to your room. This place has its own winery. Very peaceful and relaxing here even if Mt Fuji view areas are crowded with tour buses. We highly recommend.

Most of the instructions to operate the water heating and tub systems are in Japanese. Also no instructions on how to use a coffee grinder, but you can YouTube using the name of the grinder. Except for the breakfast staff and the manager, reception staff have limited English speaking skills.

Very new property with an interesting concept. The rooms (or 'villas') are clean, large and spacious, with a private hot tub and garden, smart TV and heated bathroom flooring. Plenty of amenities including a Uniqlo jacket to wear in cold weather, loungewear, pyjamas and slippers (not allowed to take these with you, but felt comfy and good quality). Free dessert at check-in and the breakfast was delivered to our room in a nice wooden box. All the food was locally sourced and included salad, hot clear soup, bread, yoghurt. 1 free 'apperetif' which is a set of three appetisers is given per stay, which I actually found quite filling and delicious. Very friendly staff. Overall would highly recommend.

We drove and there was plenty of parking, but it does seem a bit more difficult to access without a car. There is no daily housekeeping (inc towel change), the attendant explained because it was a short stay (3D2N), implying longer stays might have more regular cleaning. There is no view of Mount Fuji

This winery & villa is a work of a small group of passionate people and it really shows in every little detail. We immediately fell in love with the design and atmosphere of the location. Our suite was beyond expectations, beautiful, convenient and clean. The staff was also amazing and we really enjoyed the complimentary winery tour they offered. We also opted to try their dinner course which proved to be a great decision - every dish was a masterpiece! We were really happy to choose this premium experience and we felt good investing into the work of a small winery that provides excellent quality. We had the perfect experience and our only regret is that we didn't book more nights!

My husband and I stayed here for one night to see Mt. Fuji. From the second we arrived, we received top notch service. I left my jacket when we headed out and they were able to send it on to my next hotel, I am so grateful that they did that for me!!! The dinner and breakfast was a nice touch, it truly made the experience feel luxurious. Way too many extra amenities to list. The room was huge and modern, the bath on the back patio was awesome. Even though we weren’t there long, we managed to use it a few times. They provide bikes which we used to get to some of the nearby attractions, super convenient! We recommend taking a taxi from Kawaguchi station to get to/from the hotel if you’re taking the bus to get there. It isn’t far so it was around ¥2,000, which was worth it to us since they’ll take you up to the door of the hotel and you don’t have to wait on the bus. We would recommend 7c villa&winery to anyone considering it, you won’t regret it!

Beautiful throughout. Very generous size room. Tranquil location. Delicious (and large) breakfast. Loved looking out over our little Japanese garden in the morning. Lovely shower and bed. Free bike rental. The staff were exceptionally accommodating! Our stay felt really special.

The aircon was a little loud. Due to the size of the hotel, you need to book the restaurant in advance (even for light snacks) which was a little limiting. The food however, was excellent.

Modern, chic, minimal design with luxe interiors surrounded by nature made for an incredible stay & discovery of Mt. Fuji & Fujikawaguichiko. Breakfast was tasty (best mini quiches) and beautifully presented, the Koshu beef dinner course was delicious. The wine was also really good, high quality. Staff were very helpful and professional. It was an amazing stay at 7c Villa. Highly recommend this property.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel offering quiet and serene surroundings for you to relax. We loved the design of the place and attention to every little detail and of course the hot tub. The view from the room reveals a carefully curated little garden - a true gift to all the senses.

We would like the room to be cleaned daily but this was not possible - only a change of towels can be requested.

7C Villa and Winery exceeded all our expectations! The property is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. Dinner was phenomenal—every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. The in-room amenities were thoughtful and luxurious, adding to the overall experience. 10/10, we will definitely be coming back for another stay. Highly recommend!
