Amazing hospitality with pick up service at Kawaguchiko station. Room is so huge and comfortable. There’s a balcony with stunning views of any Fuji. Bathroom is huge also. No bathtubs but there’s a large public onsen with sauna! Onsen is really comfortable and the open air onsen is cool too! Breakfast was a choice between american and japanese and both were delicious!
The location is kind of far from Kawaguchiko station and it’s located on a hill. If you’re coming here do use the pick up service or it’ll be a hell of a climb.

An experience I’ll never forget. Incredible view of Mt Fuji from the room, reception and onsen. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming and even took our luggage to the room for us and also offered a welcome tea which was delicious. Onsen was quiet so had it to myself both times I used it and they provided robes, the open air onsen was amazing to enjoy the view of Mt Fuji as well. We didn’t do the dinner but had the breakfast and was great value for money as it was so much food and sat by the window to enjoy the view. We also enjoyed coffee in the room overlooking Fuji. They also had bikes which I wish we used to ride around the lake if we had more time. Convenient shuttle to get you and take you to the main bus stop. Cute and cosy bar to have a drink in reception or by the fireplace. Upstairs bar was unfortunately closed when we went but a beautiful view again over the lake and Mt Fuji but would have been amazing to have a drink and watch the sunset there.
Nothing about the property but if you are wanting to eat somewhere else keep in mind they close early and is a bit of a walk to get to and a hill to get back to the property.

The location is a on a steep hill, do consider the shuttle timing when checking in. There's a red line bus stop just by the road outside, it's convenient to sightsee for red line. Balcony view faces Mount Fuji, sunrise sunset moments are easy to capture from vantage viewpoint. Lastly, remember to visit the sky bar to capture the starry night. It's amazing. Breakfast was good, we tried both the Japanese and Western options. The add on for dinner was good too. Ambience wise, there's a few insta worthy corners at the lounge, go have fun!

1. Location: EXCELLENT!!! This hotel has the best location on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, in my opinion, because ALL the rooms have the lake view of Mt. Fuji. The room's balcony is spacious and big enough to sit outside and enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji, weather permitted. Even better, each room has the floor to ceiling sliding door that will allow you to enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji from the comfort of your room in case you don't want to venture outside. We were lucky that the weather was perfect during our stay and got a great view of Mt. Fuji under the moon light for three straight nights. The hotel is also right in front of one of the stops of the Omni bus red route. The hilltop location is a bonus in my opinion since it gives you an unobstructed view of the lake and Mt. Fuji. If you have luggage, there's a button to call the hotel at the bottom of the hill and someone will drive down and pick you up. The hotel is about 10' drive from Kawaguchiko Station. When you arrive at the station, contact the hotel and they will pick you up at the stand #10 where hotel shuttles pick up their guests. 2. Staff: EXCELLENT!!! I can't say enough to compliment the hotel staff. The front desk were very accommodating in making sure our requests were met with excellent results and we appreciated it. They made restaurant reservations for us and even drove us to the restaurants and picked us up afterwards. Kudos to drivers Mickey, Kasiwaghi, and Okomura (I hope I got their names right)!!! 3. Room: EXCELLENT!!! The view of Mt. Fuji from the hotel is PRICELESS. The room is very clean and quiet. On the scale of 1-10, I would give a 20! 4. Breakfast: EXCELLENT!!! You have a choice of Japanese and American. I picked Japanese for three days and was happy with it. It was a set menu but the food was excellent. Combining the food and the view of Mt. Fuji from the restaurant, you get an unforgettable experience. And the restaurant staff is equally excellent as well.
None.

The Scene beside your balcony really "ROMANTIC" our couple really like this room (room 400). Dinner at hotel also excellent with "Kaiseki" style. We booked the Private bath 9.00 pm , that night has snow also (great for couple). The hotel not far from sightseeing, we rent bike to visit many places.
Check-in Time a bit restrict (3.00 pm) but lucky for us that we get the room before. If you come to Kawaguchiko Station (Train) from Shibuya or Else , you should check time arrive at kawaguchiko station. Hotel has shuttle bus to pick you up but it has a time table too. So please make sure that you on time or if you arrive before , you have to buy bus ticket (red line) to go to Hotel (the station is No.11) and walk to the hill (around 400 m) to hotel.

We loved this hotel on our recent trip to Mt. Fuji! The rooms and location were absolutely beautiful, giving a brilliant view of Mt. Fuji. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. During our stay we added on breakfast, dinner, and a private onsen experience. Breakfast was a preset meal, and was delightful. Dinner was shabu shabu, and was the best dinner we had on the trip. Feel free to show up to dinner in the robes they give you in the room! The private onsen experience was also great. The facility was clean and gave a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji. The facility also has two bars, including one rooftop bar, which were great. Another perk of this hotel is the e-bikes! They are free to rent and the staff will give you a tutorial on how to use them. Lastly, the interior décor of this hotel was awesome. It had a very unique design with lots of fresh plants and hand painted artwork. We had never seen anything like it.
One recommendation would be to extend the pick-up hours from the train station to the hotel. Taxis are hard to come by and the location is too far to walk to. Our particular train came in around 12PM and the hotel shuttle was not scheduled for pick ups until 2PM.

It was a great stay! A bit on expensive side for Japan, but the view is to die for, totally worth every dollar. The room was packed with everything one might need. Also the attention of staff, the overall vibe around the hotel was nice and pleasant. We had shabu shabu dinner (good) and the breakfast, also a couple of drinks in the bar downstairs. Had great experience overall. Didn’t use bath and spa, don’t have anything to say about it. They provide shuttle from and to the station. To get to the hotel, you go to the information center at the station and ask them to call the hotel and order the shuttle. In our case it arrived 7-8 minutes later, exactly the time it takes to ride the distance. In the morning the shuttles depart on schedule every half hour, there’s the schedule on the front desk.
Nothing!

We were here for one night during the end of the cherry blossom season! I booked the Double Room with Balcony with Mt.Fuji and Lake view - Non Smoking What i like about the room was the perfect view of mount fuji! I love waking up to the view! A quick google check : The hotel was built in 1963 and underwent a renovation in 2017 and hence i would say the condition of the room is considered okay. The room isnt big hence putting 2 luggages was quite a bummer but it is what we had expected. The beds are really comfy! FYI: if you're driving, you have to drive up a super narrow and steep 2 way road (which only allows for 1 car at a time per direction) , so please make your way up or down slowly.
The balcony was quite badly maintained in my opinion which kindly spoilt the experience of sitting outside to enjoy the view.

I travel frequently and this is by far the best value I have gotten for my money ever. I’m aware this is not “cheap” by any means, but value-wise it is more than worth it. You get stellar service in a beautiful hotel overlooking mount Fuji, shuttle service from-to the train station included, electric bikes to ride around town included, spa-level onsen included. I stayed two nights and were able to use the onsen three times, with all three times having it all to myself. Even if the hotel is fully booked, it still has a way of feeling intimate and the amenities are never crowded. I also got lucky and were able to see Mount Fuji on both days of my stay from my balcony, and it was so beautiful I ended up getting a proposal right there.
The shuttle service hours could be extended.

The view from our room was amazing with a lovely deck to sit on and enjoy the vista. It was a shame that Mt Fuji didn't appear but the view across the lake was wonderful even without Fuji. The French dinner in the evening and the breakfast were absolutely delicious all with a beautiful view across the lake from the restaurant. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel has a wonderful vibe - tastefully decorated with lots of spaces for guests to enjoy. The rooftop bar was not open when we stayed in the hotel but we were able to reserve the rooftop onsen for a fee and enjoy the view from up there.
We were going to hire bikes and go for a ride around the lake but when we saw that the hotel was at the top of a steep hill, we decided not to bother. This hotel is very expensive. The hotel is not very close to public transport but they run a shuttle service to the train station for guests. We were travelling by car - this is probably the easiest way to get around if you are staying at this hotel.
