This is a really old building with wonderful character. It's been beautifully restored, right down to the gorgeous chandeliers throughout. It's extremely clean and comfortable too. We were in a large double room and it was very spacious indeed, with a nice big fridge and kettle/coffee etc - there is also coffee available downstairs, with milk on request. We opted for breakfast, which was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are all friendly and very eager to make sure guests are comfortable and have what they need. This is the first time we've stayed on the Asian side of Istanbul but it won't be the last - and we'll head straight to the Ikiz Konak when we come back.

Amidst this enchanting cityscape, Ikiz Konak Hotel has become my cherished sanctuary, infusing each of my journeys with a sense of familiarity and heartfelt warmth. It's not just a hotel; it's my home away from home. Returning to the hotel after exhilarating explorations across Istanbul feels like reuniting with dear family; every staff member welcomes me with genuine smiles and creating a cocoon of safety and belonging. The immaculate rooms are a delight to retreat to, ensuring a serene and comfortable stay. And oh, the breakfasts! Each meal prepared with such love and care, adding a delightful touch to my mornings and setting the tone for a day filled with new adventures.

The hotel is in a renovated Ottoman style historic monument, located in a quiet street in a very vibrant neighbourhood. Friendly staff. Our room was very comfortable provided with all the basic necessities. I liked that there was a lot of wood in the elements of the interior. Each time we returned to our room, we could recharge from sightseeing and go on to discover the wonders of Istanbul.

We could hear noises from all the rooms around us and the stairway. This was not a big deal because other guests and the staff weren't making much noise. The area around the hotel was also relatively quiet, we could hear the local animals, which amounted to one dog, one cat and the seagulls.

Location of hotel close to Bus station and HavaBus ( 10-15minutes walk). Sea Tram station also close to hotel so you can reach Sultan Ahmad district straight away. Hotel was very clean. Wi-fi is real good. Personal very polite and happy to help. We did not request breakfast, so can not comment here. There is MADO cafe not far from hotel , where you can have a great breakfast with variety of choices.

This hotel was rebuilt to save original design ,windows and balcony doors are made from wood what cause that noise from street comes trough. If you want to sleep well - try to select room with patio view but you will loose see view as well. Bear in mind. There is small fridge in the room,..but seems defrosting was needed.... )))

I was a bit worried as this place is not part of big hotel chain but rather a local place based in residential area of Istanbul. But I fell in love with the hotel, area and most importantly the staff. This is what I imagine under exceptional service, clean place and perfect breakfast. I plan to go to Istanbul more often and I will definitely won’t go to any other place then Ikiz Konak Boutique. Thank you for making me and mum to feel like at home♥️🇹🇷

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like, just that we did not stay longer

The hotel is in a great location, close to lots of lovely bakeries and restaurants. Also super close to the ferry. We much preferred the atmosphere of the Kadikoy area compared to the European side of the city so were very glad we stayed here. It is much less touristy and crowded. Also we found catching the ferry across a really nice way to experience Istanbul! Its a beautiful ride and very cheap. Our room was immaculately clean and was at the back of the hotel on top floor so also very quiet. Bed was super comfortable after a long say of sightseeing. We enjoyed having the little balcony too to enjoy our morning coffee! We had breakfast on one of the mornings and it was very tasty. Staff were friendly.

Bathroom was a little small but it was well designed and very clean with great shower so it wasn't really an issue for us.

This Hotel is a very welcoming warm place and perfectly represents the Turkish hospitality. the rooms are neat and modern. the little garden is Perfect for your morning coffee. everybody is attentive and kind and tries to make your stay pleasant. I will most likely return to this place, if I go back to Istanbul.

It's a small boutique hotel in a calm residential area, 5 to 10 min walking from the ferry station, the bus station and from the shops and restaurants in the area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfy. They have a small garden in the back of the hotel where you can have your tea or coffee in the morning, calmly, the sound of the birds as the only disturbing noise. Definitely, we will stay there again when we come back to Istanbul/Kadiköy for another visit.

What a delightful boutique hotel. We had a very friendly welcome. Unfortunately had to carry out bags up the stairs (no lift). But it took was lovely (no 17). We even had a little balcony that we could sit it on and enjoy the view. The room was generous and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny but very nice, with nice products to use. There was a kettle to make hot drinks and free water. The hotel was in a really nice area filled with lots of small cafes and bars and small shops. Sadly we had no time to explore. If I come back, I will definitely stay here again. We walked from the metro station. It took 15 minutes. Easy walk. I was tired with my luggage, but it was easier going back in the morning downhill. Also, it was quiet at night.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It is short walk to the Ferry terminal that takes you to Karakoy. Being in the hip district of Istanbul, it has some fantastic restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff were always smiling and very helpful but not very chatty. They cleaned the rooms everyday and made sure everything that is needed was stocked up. The air conditioning worked perfectly. We did not eat here but there is a wonderful breakfast place just a block away from the hotel. Istanbul is a wonderful city and the stay at this place made it even better.

We could hear noise from other rooms especially the one above (as the rooms have wooden floors). This did not go for long so it did not become a problem, but something to keep in mind. The water in the shower took ages to drain. Usually, I would mark this as a negative, but given that everything else at this hotel so fantastic, I did not mind this inconvenience.
