The design of the hotel was quite nice it was somewhere between a western and Japanese hotel. It was nice that they gave us loungewear as well as other toiletries during our stay. There was a on-site onsen which was open to the hotel guest as well as space for baggage storage in case you arrived for checking-in time or had to check out early.

Even though they had a paid laundry service within the hotel the dryers did not work as well so a lot of guests had to spend more money and time drying their clothes which meant that there was a long time between washer dryer units being available for use by others. Also guests had to come to the second floor in order to fill their water jugs, this was mainly an issue if you were located on other floors. On the floor that we were located on there was no pantry or location for water that I was aware of.

Love this hotel.. the deisgn is so zen.. breakfast is nice.. only regret is I stayed only 1 night and did not use the Onsen. I would love to stay longer if got chance. Will definitely come back again.

SOKI Kanazawa, a boutique hotel with a modern vibe, offered an efficient, automated check-in with staff available for assistance. While not particularly personal, it worked very well. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the onsen was large and pleasantly uncrowded. We opted to have breakfast at the Kanazawa market across the street, which had limited options, making us regret not signing up for the hotel's breakfast.

The only downside was the lack of a front desk, which meant they couldn't hold our luggage after checkout, and the available lockers were all occupied.

The location is fantastic, right next to the food markets. The rooms are lovely and look fantastic. It is very clean and has a lovely atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and the room was very quiet. The bathrooms were great, especially as there was no step into it.

There was no where to really put your suitcase, which made it a bit of a squeeze where there are two of you. Would recommend getting a bigger room or the twin for more room. They made to room so fancy, they forgot functionality. The washing machine is a combo, takes a long time to wash and dry. They also don’t dry well. Recommend going to a local laundromat. There is no real ramp in to the hotel, so be prepared to carry it up the front stairs. Bit of information about the buses to see the attractions would be helpful in the room too.

Great location. Close to various key places. Enjoyed being right next to the Omichi fish market. Walkable to the train station and other main attractions. Nice clean rooms. Great value. Onsen was a big bonus. This is a no frills hotel but had thoughtful touches like snack upon arrival, nice tea options in the room, laundry on site, nice milk drinks at the onsen. I would recommend to those seeking a good value hotel in Kanazawa. Had a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant. A thoughtful menu with high quality ingredients. But it is traditionally Japanese, so I can see that it may be a little challenging for Westerners.

I think the hotel provides very good value, especially if you are staying for a short time in Kanazawa. But set realistic expectations. It is not a luxury hotel. It has minimum staff and services.

Great location. Great room. Great facilities. Tattoos in their onsen is allowed as long as you cover it with their patches ( ¥150 for a big patch). Great breakfast. Actually highly recommend to add the breakfast if you’re thinking of booking this place. This place feels like an oasis when you’re in the midst of a busy itinerary. Would stay here again.

They’ve got machines that you have to check in and check out on but the hotel reception staff will be there to guide you through it so it’s not completely unmanned. They don’t have luggage delivery services but they do recommend to visit the Yamato transport office across the road whose own staff speaks good English so having our luggage sent off to the next hotel was easy.

The rooms were simple and adequate. The onsen was well kept and clean. The staff were very polite and greeted us EVERY TIME we passed by the lobby. Breakfast features very traditional japanese dishes. If you can't take fishy stuff, book your room without breakfast. Location is convenient, next to the fish market and across the junction from a shopping mall. Good value overall for family stays or business stopovers!

The complimentary tea bags in the room didnt taste good. The toothbrush provided was too small and ineffective for my family.

15 minutes walk from railway station and near the hotel everything that is recommended to tourists, starting from seafood market and ending with Kanazawa castle. Staff was extremely helpful, they helped me to open my suite-case (locker was jammed), they also do have an opportunity to extend checkout period till 14:00! Japanese style breakfast was excellent, next time I would definitely go for dinner as well. Public baths are clean, provided with a water to drink and some drinks as coffee milk and soy milk as well! I would recommend this place to stay, thank you!

My room was a little dirty, table was in a coffee spots and floor near bed had someone’s hair.

Room, staff and hotel vibe are fantastic. Everything is clean, beautiful and works well. This is not a overstuffed, frilly showy place, but a serene minimalist haven of quiet competence and quality. Breakfast was a work of art. An exceptional breakfast bento including some outstanding Kanazawa local delicacies. Location is excellent. Very near the Kanazawa loop bus stop, so you can access all likely destinations in the city for 500 yen a day. Plus the hotel is directly across the road from Omicho markets. Some of the best seafood in Japan.

Location was good, stylish and clean. Breakfast had high-end inclusions like raw baby squid, better options with amazing coffee readily available in Kanazawa.

I selected the property partly for the washing facilities but unfortunately couldn’t use these. They didn’t allow wash bags, had pre-loaded detergent and ONLY washer dryers so as a person with sensitive skin and all silk or wool clothing, this was not suitable for me. Big bath nice, very crowded on Saturday. Bed totally unyielding. I like a firm bed, this was noticeably harder than a futon on the floor.
