Team went above and beyond to offer an earlier-than-expected 'early check-in' so that my elderly mum had time to relax and change in the comfort or our room after long journey and before family lunch.
No blanket available in room to accommodate different room temperature preferences between my mum and I! However, the staff went out of their way to resolve this, eventually finding additional duvet late at night. Also - we were unable to take breakfast (included) in the restaurant on the first morning, and whilst we were given room-service breakfast free of charge, it was much less convenient for us, in fact. It was uncomfortable to sit at the small table in the room with so many items, and my mum's mobility meant that she couldn't eat off a tray on her lap.

It's clean, pretty from the outside and the staff are kind. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is big.
Our room was a courtyard room unfortunately without any style and it seems like we landed in a conference hotel with lots of cheap fittings in the rooms. I was disappointed not to be in the main house but it's quite depressing to know such a beautiful former family manor house has been so unprettily redone. Our room had a low hum pervading from a garden shed just under our window. The trouser press was broken and we were missing a bath towel. It could be so much more than this.

A grand house in the country. Original styling has been carefully preserved - make sure you have a peep at the panelled library, and it was set out for a wedding ceremony when I snuck in. Exceptional breakfast, my wife said, "I need to stay here several nights just to try all the breakfast choices." Dinner was similarly very good too, but only what you would expect for the price. Quiet and comfortable room and very comfy bed. The best nights sleep I have had for a long time. Exceptionally clean. I'm always pleased to find flannels in the bathroom. Also, there was a shaving mirror, and hotel branded pen and notepad. Massive amount of storage shelves and drawers. Sockets where you need them - next to the bed.
Hard to criticise without being very picky. Olives nibbles before dinner had a little too much herbs. The ensuite needs a grab handle to help stepping in and out of the bath with wet feet, A pet hate hate of mine is hotel provided liquid soap and shampoo in wall mounted dispensers. - You can't be certain what they have filled them up with. There were no sachets of hot chocolate, or fresh cut flowers in the room 🙄.

We really loved this hotel. It’s located in a beautiful spot, the building and grounds are gorgeous. When we arrived there were deer, rabbits and hares running around on the lawns. It felt magical! Lovely staff, rooms were faultless and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! We were very happy to have a cooked to order breakfast and the eggs Royal were so good, the egg yolks were so bright and orange that it’s almost like they were laid that morning. Bed was extremely comfy and it was peaceful. The hotel is decorated in an classic contemporary style which is very elegant with flare.
I’m pretty fussy but there is not one thing to change about Oakley Hall. We would return in a heartbeat.

Although the guide to facilities did not mention Air Con, we were very pleased to find a very efficient air con that was also quiet. We loved the Afternoon Tea, The breakfast was good. Room was spacious and quiet. Lovely gardens and plenty of parking.
Although I have given a mark of excellent, I have to point out that the young lady who took our order for breakfast got the order slightly wrong as I asked for some brown toast with my hot food. She did not know if my order came with bread or toast, so I asked her to check. All the other staff were friendly. In the nearly perfect room the towel rail did not heat up but did not spoil our stay.

Beautiful and well kept. Clean throughout. Stunning library with lots of character. Plenty of areas to explore and rest with a beverage or 2. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The children also had robes, a gift bag and toiletries which was a nice touch. They were very pleased! The staff here are all very polite and professional. Breakfast was amazing and we had afternoon tea which was also delicious! The grounds are really nice to walk around, we really enjoyed our time here and will be returning another time.

We stayed here to celebrate my birthday and that my partner and I had been together for 25 years our room was decorated with rose petals and the hotel left a couple of little gifts which was a lovely surprise, The hotel itself was lovely inside and out and was beautifully furnished, our room was spotlessly clean I could not fault it in any way and I can always find something so it was a real pleasure being able to just relax and enjoy the stay, the food was fantastic in the restaurant and a lovely selection for breakfast and beautifully presented. Definitely going back
I think the hotel would benefit from having a spa apart from that I can't really find any fault

A beautiful hotel. The rooms are tastefully decorated, very spacious and extremely comfortable. Heated underfloor heating in the bathroom, dressing room area and the room being very quiet at night made this hotel stay that extra bit special. The dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were delicious. The hotel grounds are beautiful. It was lovely to be able to wander in the kitchen garden to see the home grown produce that literally makes it to your plate. The staff at the hotel were all amazing. Every single one of them was cheerful and happy to help. The front desk staff and restaurant staff had impeccable manners.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We went on Christmas eve and Christmas day so there was naturally fewer staff around but those who were around were helpful and friendly. The Executive Room was also large compared to the other manor-type houses which we had stayed in. There was sufficient space for 2 adults and 2 toddlers to run around. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious.

For a relaxing and wonderful experience Oakley Hall exceeded my expectations. Located in beautiful Hampshire countryside, this elegant Hotel, was relaxing but with an excellent dining experience. The Hotel team were polite and efficient, the Glasshouse restaurant has an excellent menu range, cooked to a fantastic quality. Pretty walks, and the nearby village of Overton gives you an interesting range of independent shops to browse in. I would highly recommend Oakley Hall Hotel.
