I have stayed twice here now and the staff are extremely helpful at the Reinshaw, the check in and out is a breeze. The rooms are always clean and well stocked with water and hot drinks. If you can afford to, the Queen Room is lovely, huge bed and incredibly comfortable with a gorgeous bath. Will stay again.

Water pressure is on the low side when running the bath water. I would also love the option of room service, being a woman travelling alone, I don't always want to come down to eat alone, therefore, the opportunity to order food to my room would be great.

Perfect for a one night stay. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Comfy bed. Room felt secure. Plenty of free parking. Can't comment on the food as I didn't try it. Would happily stay there again if I am in the area.

A minor point but the en suite bathroom had no door :-) There was no bathroom light switch but the light came on when you walked into bathroom area (presumably censor) and stayed on for quite a while. Slightly annoying if you used the bathroom during the night as the whole room was lit up.

The decor was really nice. A very comfortable bed and the ensuite bathroom had a great shower and there was always plenty of hot water. Everything was really clean. For the price it exceeded my expectations. Charlotte who booked us in was really welcoming and helpful in suggesting places we could eat on a Sunday evening when we arrived. The sandwich bar on the premises also served excellent breakfasts at a very reasonable price.

There was no door on the ensuite bathroom, I know it was a single room, but it felt a bit odd. The layout of the room was a bit inconvenient because there was a bedside light and a lovely desk at the other end of the room, but, nowhere to put things or a plugpoint by the bed. But, again for the price and location of the room and hotel, these were minor niggles as I spent little time in the room.

I was later arriving than expected owing to traffic conditions. The staff were very welcoming and provided me with an evening meal despite the fact the restaurant was about to close. Even met my dietary requirements! Check-in and out was very straightforward.

The room was well presented overall, but there were a few minor issues with decor - mainly in the bathroom. Peeling paint and the finish around the shower. However still good value for the money.

Absolutely nothing !! High praise to the lovely young lady that served me a drink to take to my room just as she’d closed up & finished ,, with a hot meal waiting for her to eat ,, nothing seemed to much trouble at all , turns out she was studying sports & physical fitness at Hallam uni where my eldest son goes to ,, & I’m a personal trainer by profession ,, so we had loads in common ,, we need more lovely people like this ,, she is an asset to your business

Cheap for what you get, which is noticeable in the general room condition. An hour or so of work by a handyman would improve things easily enough. Such as: Screw required on window handle. Curtains would help Toilet door needs 5mm planing off the top Fan in toilet need replacing (noisy) Fit smaller rainshower head to improve throughput Tighten towel ring holder Fit toilet paper holder Caulk areas throughout Repair/replace aircon unit

The service was exceptional. The lady at reception with glassed when above and beyond to help us sort out a taxi and made us feel so welcome. We were pleasantly surprised with the room as the photos on booking.com are not good and I think If they were updated it would make the hotel a top choice.

I know it can't be helped but the traffic and road noise was awful! It woke me up several times!! Maybe more insulation for the windows would help. The bed was comfy however it does really dip in the middle and me and partner both kept falling in the middle.

From the moment we walked through the doors we were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome, the staff gave 100% to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was very clean and decorated well, we went and had a meal in the restaurant which was amazing, all freshly cooked and was delicious , credit to the chef.. As it was so hot we asked if it was possible to have a fan in our room and within minutes a fan was taken to our room for us , we can not recommend this hotel enough . It’s been a long time since we have stayed in a hotel were they make you feel so welcome and relaxed.

Restaurant closed for an event when I arrived, but I hadn't eaten all day and the staff went above and beyond to get me a meal and a drink before the event started. Even though they were busy preparing for the evening. They couldn't have been more accomodating. 5* service. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was brilliant! No more than a couple of minutes from the M1 and a perfect stopover. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, the pie one of the best. All food is prepared on order do may take a few minutes longer than fast food, but worth the wait. So pleased I have already booked in with 5 friends to stay there again in 2024.

Must remember that if you are having breakfast in the cafe next door, nit to put your keys in until you leave completely or you can't get back in to use the loo!!
