Ideal location on the beach front to the japanese shipwreck snorkel site. The beach is very stony. Staff / owners incredibly friendly and welcoming

Lots of bugs came into the room under the front door and through open-shower. No phone reception, but free wifi. The wifi speed would likely prevent people from online work if they needed to

Nalini Resort was wonderful. The property is right on the ocean and whilst it may be a short drive from Amed Beach it was great for us as we like peace and solitude. The staff were lovely ... Ari the Manager and his wife were so accommodating as well as Annie who looked after us every day. Nyoman even gave us some popcorn one afternoon whilst we were having our arvo drinks! The owners happened to be on site during our stay and we were lucky enough to have dinner with them each night which we thoroughly enjoyed. Don't even start me on the food ... we did not eat anywhere apart from Nalini because the food was too good!!! Every meal was fabulous in particular the spring rolls (never had any that good) with believe it or not ... blue cheese dipping sauce ... NEXT LEVEL goodness! Their bao buns were like giant pillows .. seriously good food. Annie also makes the best frozen margaritas I had during my 3 week trip. Do yourself a favour and get out of the touristy places and visit this lovely area of Bali. We hope to return one day x

Nalini Resort is a small family-managed Hotel with Ari and his Wife as friendly and sympathetic owners. They are like friends and care for the well-being of their guests. The resort is located directly at the beach far away from the busy but small Main road. So it is a calm and peaceful place to relax. Left and right of the resort are the Jukungs (boats) of the fishermen and it is amazing to watch them come back from fishing in the morning around 8 o'clock. The resort has only 8 rooms - three of them with a Seaview and five with a view into the garden. All rooms are clean and equipped with tasteful wooden furniture. The two larger suites are located on the first floor and have a wonderful and undisturbed view of the sea. Access to these 2 rooms is over a steep staircase. Rooms are therefore not recommended for handicapped people. A surprise was the hotel's own kitchen/restaurant. Everything is freshly prepared and of astonishing taste and quality. There we had one of the best meals during our two-month stay in Bali. The pebble beach offers crystal clear water but you should wear shoes if you want to swim or snorkel there. For divers: there is the famous Japanese shipwreck just a hundred meters in front of the resort. Cooking classes and yoga courses are provided in extra-equipped rooms with Seaview. All in all a paradise which I can recommend full-heartedly.

Wifi is sometimes weak

Location was great, staff is very friendly. Owner is always available. You can snorkel just from the beach, two steps from your room. I had an awesome cooking class experience and the best massage at the property.

Shower, it is way too high ( open shower) and pressure is low. It is ok for 1-2 days stay. For longer stays need more comfortable shower.

A fishing area on beautiful coastline, A lovley large room with a sea view, a good restaurant and swimming pool, very helpful friendly staff. Snorkeling was amazing also saw Dolphins swimming close by.

A little out of main town but easy to find a driver.

Amed is the Bali I remember, if you want to experience the Balinese people without the over-tourism of other locations then this is for you. The location right on the ocean and watching the traditional fishing boats set sail and return each morning was a spectacular site. The traditional villages unspoilt by the demand of westerners needs for luxury shops and restaurants. I hope Amed can keep its natural beauty; the mountains, the peace, the people, the reef fish swimming over the back sand.

Rude and demanding tourists that don’t appreciate the simplicity of the Balinese culture.

We planned an extended stay (14 nights) at Nalini and we are so glad we did. We looking to just relax, read and rest, swim and snorkel. We didn’t plan on doing lots of sightseeing. Nalini Resort was our perfect choice. We received such a warm and friendly welcome and this warmth continued throughout our stay. Nalini is a small and quiet (8 suites only) family run resort, and when we left we felt like we were part of the family. We spent our time relaxing, in the pool, in the ocean, in the restaurant/cafe. All meals were superb and the special consideration of our needs of one vegetarian and one gluten free were provided at every meal. Even specially baked GF bread 😊The menu is extensive with daily specials, (especially fresh fish when caught) and we were able to have plenty of choice, and we ate there the majority of the time. We went into Amed town a couple of times only to visit the supermarket for some treats. Lipah beach and Jemeluk beach are a short car ride away are great for snorkelling and easier to get in and out of the water. We saw turtles and beautiful fish and coral. A car was easily arranged by Nalini for any of our trips. A special hi to Yuli, Ani, Ayu, Ari, Januari Papa Nyoman and everyone - thank you so much for everything.

Lovely location away from the hustle and bustle. The water was lovely and clear and great snorkelling right in front of the hotel. The bed was lovely and comfortable and great that they provided free water in our room. The staff were really great, the restaurant right in the waterfront with fabulous food. We booked for one night but ended up staying three! Thanks team, can't wait to come back!

We didn't have an issue with this but some people might find getting in/out of the water difficult due to the big stones, but the managers have a plan to build concrete steps/ramp down into the water in the near future.

The resort is just gorgeous and nestled in lovely gardens. It is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable which is often not the case. We loved the outside bathroom. Staff are unfailingly helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a number of meals at Nalini and the food is excellent. The resort is at the far end of Amed so it is necessary to hire a scooter or take taxis is you wish to explore beyond the resort. Aged 74 and 72 we hired a motorbike and while a bit nervous at first we managed well.as we like to explore.

While beautiful, the beach is stoney which makes entering water a challenge. We had a great snorkel at Jemeluk Beach about 4 kms away.

The Nalini resort is right next to the sea, with a pebble beach giving direct access to the water. We had a wonderful room which included a private terrace and overlooked the ocean. The bed was large and very comfortable, great air conditioning, fridge in room and water provided throughout our stay, bathroom was beautifully decorated and featured an open air shower. Restaurant offered a varied menu and we ate something different every lunch and dinner. We loved our breakfasts with many choices, fresh juice and refillable tea and coffee. The pool was wonderful and included option to order drinks while sitting in the pool. The cocktails were great! We snorkelled every day - the Japanese ship wreck is within swimming distance and the variety of fish and sea life was fantastic. I had a wonderful bilanese massage and we also took a cooking class which we really enjoyed. Owner and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We hope to visit again.

The transfer takes some time to get from the airport - but we knew this when we booked, and we wanted this resort and location. The property offered an airport shuttle which was very good we really appreciated this and we used it both ways.
