The ambience and location are great. The decor and feeling of space are amazing.

They were it seems a understaffed, most noticeable during evening and nights. There were no hotel doormen or porters. We had to carry our own luggage up to our rooms, which is fine. But my elderly parents, both in their 80s sure could have used the assistance. I was also wrongly pointed out as the culprit to damages to the property during our stay done by other guests. Fortunately, video showed clearly it was none of our group. Still, an unpleasant experience nonetheless. I has chosen the hotel due to it’s proximity to the Hop on and off bus stop near the Parliament. But because of the restorations throughout the city and near Parliament, that bus stop was not currently in use.

From the moment I entered "the Palace" I was treated royally! Welcomed with a glass of champagne while I checked in. I arrived early but the reception prioritized my room . The bed and pillows were super comfortable! Breakfast was lovely with made to order dishes for everyone. An enormous selection of meats ,cheeses and desserts , not to mention coffees and champagne. 5 star 🌟 as well as sauna ,steam room and jacuzzi pools . Thank you for an incredible stay ! ❤️

Amazing hotel with very friendly staff that are more then happy to help you with everything that you need. My advise, pay a bit more and book the suite ( room 326 ) its a amazing room with a lot of space, a shower and a bath. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Budapest.

The air conditioning definitely doesn’t work. It seems to be blocked which I’ve learned from experience it is something hotels do during spring and fall to save money.

Well maintained hotel with character and friendly staff. We found the hotel calm and relaxing. The room was quite large.

My wife did not like the rainfall shower in the bathroom. The Spa pool is smaller than it looks in the photographs.

We traveled with a party of 9. The entire Staff, Breakfast, Dinner in the Bar and all Rooms were outstanding! Aurea Ana Palace Hotel made us feel like Royalty and exceeded all of our expectations. A special thank you to Bruno and Vicktoria, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The Toilet Paper, OMG!

Our room was tremendous, comfortable bed and pillows. It was nice and quiet. Had a great shower and separate tub which came in handy. My muscles were sore and the soaking tub was great. We did not eat the breakfast there so I can’t comment on the food. We went to a local coffee shop which was so good and ate breakfast there for the two days of our stay. Location was fantastic which was a 5 minute walk to the Parliament and near transportation and restaurants. We loved the pools and saunas. We were able to book a couples massage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great location near the beautiful parliament building and a short walk to restaurants, bars and the centre of the Pest side of the river.

The property itself and staff were lovely while we stayed there for four nights. One small thing that left a sour taste was that I left an ear pod in the room and when I arrived home contacted the hotel. They helpfully advised they had found it and put me in touch with a courier to arrange to get it back. They quoted €75 which was nearly as much as they were worth. I requested if the hotel would post it and I would pay for postage but they refused without an explanation.

The building itself is beautiful. Each room is decorated to an excellent standard befitting such an amazing building. The staff facilitated an early check-in for me. And the location was ideal for exploring the city! It was a quiet hotel, so a good night's sleep is always guaranteed. My favourite parts of my room were the vanity table with mirror in the 2nd bathroom and the wonderful wardrobe with that image of Ana on it.

I got a little smell coming out of the waterfall shower, which is not uncommon in older buildings. I found once I kept the shower door closed when not in use, then the smell didn't resonate through the room. The windows locked up on me on the 2nd day so i couldnt open them. I did raise it to front desk staff but it was never fixed. To be fair though, I never chased it up again as the following few days were chilly out so I didn't mind.

The location is superb for sightseeing. Minutes away from the parliament building and the river. Most locations in the city are either walkable or quickly accessed via public transportation. A great selection of restaurants within a five minute walk. The staff were super helpful and friendly and made our wedding anniversary stay one to remember. The breakfast was excellent and good value for money. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. I strongly recommend this hotel. I experienced non of the issues reported in the 1 star reviews of this hotel.
