I enjoyed my week long stay at Sotetsu Yokohama. Right at Basamichi station. Very convenient to Landmark Tower, Queens Towers, Mark s shopping. Near the Cosmo clock ferris wheel\roller coaster, cosmo play area, World Porters shopping, eating, games bulding. Plus the twin brick warehouses full of artisan stuff to buy ($$$). It was New Years, I spent the day at the nearby Bhuddist temple and Shinto shrine. All within a 20 to 25 minute walk from hotel. The walk along pier is scenic. Staff were very nice. Clean room, nice products. Plus they had coffee packets at front desk, along with a few fun beauty products. I love the waffle jammies.. pants and top. They met my request for room location very well.

I would have liked a bigger fridge and a microwave in the room for 7 nights. There was a microwave on the lobby floor, along with wash\dry machines. The pillows were big-hard, but they will loan you a tempur-pedic pillow when you ask. More shelves, and rails to hang stuff would be more comfortable.

Exceptional location - Super close to Bashamichi Station with an exit right outside the hotel entrance (there was an elevator to the station too a little down the street which was convenient.) It was also a short walk to JR Sakuragicho Station and the shopping malls in the area. The neighbourhood is also quiet and there are three convenience stores nearby and in the station. The bathroom was very clean and TV had access to YouTube as well which was nice. The bed was very spacious for a single person room and the room had sufficient space for a solo traveller. They also had a bunch of free amenities on the lobby floor which was very kind of them.

The room was just a little cramped to open a suitcase in but it didn’t bother me that much.

The staff were very friendly, and made every effort to help us with all aspects of our trip. We got a small discount for the Yokohama air cabin. They also booked a taxi for my elderly grandparents. The hotel rooms don't come with excess amenities, but it is all available at reception so you can pick and choose what you want. I appreciated the efforts to reduce waste and be sustainable across the hotel.

As with most hotels, the bathroom steams up quickly and doesn't have great ventilation. Also the room was quite small, making it hard to find space for 2 suitcases. But we didn't spend much time in the room.

This as basic hotel with a clean basic small bedroom. The location was great ... Walking distance from the cruise port and the subway station s right next door. In fact, although I wasn't aware at the time, we could have used the subway closer to the cruise port to get to the hotel, which would have saved us having to walk the 20 minutes to the hotel with numerous suitcases.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the waterfront in Yokohama. The Bashamichi Station exit 3 is only a few metres away. It is a very pleasant walk to the Sakuragichō Station (assuming no luggage) / Landmark building and also the Red Brick warehouse. It is a short taxi ride to the Osanbashi Cruise terminal. The room was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Walking distance to many of Yokohama's tourist attractions at the port. Subway entrance and bus stop just outside. Good breakfast with friendly, helpful staff. Street view (useful to see if any umbrellas are up that morning!) Yokohama has a very interesting East meets West history and is well worth visiting.

At first glance, there were no eateries visible in the main streets of this office district. However, you can find options in the smaller back streets behind the hotel. Our room did lack shelves, drawers and hanging space.

1. I like the location of this hotel as it was directly above the Bashamichi train station, so accessible with many tourist attractions nearby. 2. I booked 1 triple room and 2 twin rooms for my family of 7. The triple room was excellent as it was very spacious, with a toilet, a bathroom, and a make-up/ dressing room all separated. 3. I would rate the breakfast average. It could be better if more varieties were provided; for example, provide cut fruits or more choices of fruit juices other than apple juice only, as well as more varieties of bread/ cake.

We booked this for a couple of nights before starting a cruise from Yokohama, so really just needed somewhere to sleep off the jet lag. The room was basic, there was very limited space to put clothes but the bed was comfortable. There was a kettle in the room and sachets tea, coffee etc was freely available from the reception area, along with a large range of toiletries (although there was good shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom already). You could also borrow eg straighteners. For the price (and compared to the place we stayed in England upon our return), it was great.

I suspect a lot of people staying there are in transit so the lack of storage is not an issue but beware if you're thinking of staying for a few days. Also be aware (not a criticism just an observation for us language challenged Brits) they don't really speak English, although we managed with a few words of English there and a few words of Japanese here and they were very helpful.

The staff is very good, very receptive and I believe that this is standard in Japan, where people are very well educated in general. The breakfast is ok, but with few options for occidental people. The localization is very good in my opinion, not so busy but at same time close to good streets where you can find stores and restaurants. The room is a bit small if you are not alone but comportable in general.

Room is small.

This hotel has a chef and they make breakfast every day. It’s not a restaurant where you order but it’s a very decent buffet. I have visited several Sotetsu Fresa properties and all used a coffee shop attached to the hotel to provide breakfast. This one cooks and tastes much better with a wider selection. However the coffee is just reasonable.

Maybe only more washing machines. They have 2 machines that are automatic wash and dry. Other hotels usually had 4 machines.
