Fantastic location. My room was functional and the bed extremely comfy. The atmosphere on arrival in the lobby was vibrant and gave a great feeling of contemporary care. The Concierge was truly helpful and the doormen enthusiastic in helping us. The bar & cafe downstairs had great vibe, service & delicious choices.

My fault - I didn't pay attention in placing my booking so my king room had no view, which I would have chosen had I paid better attention. Was looking out at a wall - ha ha! Replenishing of some items in the room not always 100% and - as a senior citizen - I found the water bottles impossible to open (had to ask for help).

The location is fantastic: views of Central Park and easy access to lots of attractions. The room was cleverly designed so that it felt very spacious and everything we needed was on hand (from toiletries to hand-held steamer, to yoga black and mat). Free apples in reception is a nice touch to offset some of the rich food we ate during out stay. Reception and concierge staff were friendly and very helpful. I really appreciated the ability to leave our bags with reception after check-out so we could make the most of our last day before returning to the hotel to take the private car to the airport that they kindly arranged for us.

I had chosen the 'breakfast included' rate when booking and wish I had not. Breakfast was not included in any meaningful sense as it turned out to be a $20 credit per head which allowed you to buy just a cup of coffee and a croissant in the hotel restaurant Jams. The breakfast options were varied and delicious but we had to pay significantly over and above to get an actual breakfast. This was frustrating as I thought I had an inclusive rate.

The Location is exceptional. The rooms are sufficiently large and the staff was excellent, very accommodating and not fake friendly. Big compliment to the staff. Free apples in Big apple. Barber shop next street..Hair Samurai Kazuhiro insider tip...all our family want to stay for months.

Nothing, the stay was brilliant.

Location cannot be beaten, as a Mum & Daughter travelling alone for the first time, I was concerned about how safe we would feel! The streets surrounding the hotel are clean, always busy (but not too busy) and in general feel very safe. The doormen are always there to greet you or to help with luggage/give advice or to arrange any transport. Extremely Impressed.

The price of room service was incredibly expensive.

Location, decor, cleanliness were all fantastic. Modern, funky, natural - so much better than a traditional 4* hotel. Loved the restaurant and bar area and breakfasts. Yoga mats and foam rollers in the room were a brilliant touch. A hotel that does the details excellently.

Had to ask for a kettle in the room to make tea.

Great location a block away from Central Park South, great staff always helpful and attentive, and very nice rooms. Fairly sized for Manhattan standards.

I could have used more closed space, not thrilled about the hangers arrangement. The shower could also benefit from some space for personal amenities.

Suite was lovely, fresh clean linen, everything in order. Exceptionally friendly and efficient porters ... welcoming at arrival and friendly assistance when departing.

No complimentary bottled water in room. Stated that all water was purified, but tap water was murky/milky/discolored ... so felt uncomfortable drinking that.

The bedroom window seat is such a great idea, afternoons watching the world go by overlooking 6th Avenue. The mix of industrial and greenery is so well done and beautiful.

More wardrobe space needed for 2 people sharing.

The way the hotel is decorated, and cares about recycling, is amazing. There is an application one can use on the phone to order food, meditations and etc. The smell of shampoo, shower gel and cream is very good. A nespresso machine is in the room and they bring capsules every day.

I imagined breakfast would be included, given the room price. I hoped the windows could have been opened more. I stayed at this hotel 2 times, the second time the view was bad, on some technical backyard.
