We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect—very central, making it easy to explore Franschhoek. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had a cosy charm, especially with the little fireplace, which added such a lovely touch. Although we were initially worried about the smoke detectors when lighting the fireplace, everything worked out perfectly. The breakfast was good, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

The only downside was that we found it a bit pricy compared to other hotels we stayed in during our trip. However, we recognise this was likely due to booking last minute, so it didn’t detract much from our overall experience. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central and cosy place to stay in Franschhoek!

Service is exceptional and staff super helpful! Breakfast was good. The views and location are amazing.

The bed had a little spring jutting out on the right side that made sleeping a little uncomfortable. Did not deter from the overall experience though. The furniture in the room looked a little dated and worn out. The faux leather on the chair, and ottoman at front of the bed, was very badly cracked. Compared to the room we had on the first stay, where the furniture was impeccable, this was a tad bit disappointing. The water in the coffee machine tank was an odd colour. Could also be due to age. Opted to have the tea instead. The umbrella in the room had a broken handle but the lady happily changed it for us.

The Hotel rooms are something else, really lush. You also have a wood heater in the hotel room which made everything extra cozy. The breakfast is decent and I particularly liked there day-before breakfast checklist, it's a very effective way to make sure you get exactly what you want for breakfast for people like my partner who likes to plan meals 3 to 4 business years in advance. The staff are friendly and professional. The hotel is pretty much central to the main street and a minute or to walk away from a bunch of top tier restaurants as well as almost on top of the wine tram booking kiosk.

A lovely central location with deluxe interior and hospitable hosts. While the outside gives an underwhelming impression, once you enter the rooms you feel pampered by the tasteful decor and luxurious atmosphere. Wonderful big tub, a bed that feels like sleeping in a warm cloud, and stunning view to boot. Loved how central I was an how easy it was to walk almost everywhere

The exterior to the premises leaves a lot to be desired and feels like a mass produces generic townhouse. The staff were helpful but maybe a little overly eager and then not very good at actually following through on offers to arrange activities. But friendly for sure

This hotel has a great location. We could walk to all the restaurants and we could get a Tuk Tuk very close to the hotel. Breakfast was also great and staff very friendly. Rooms are really nice and modern with a nice fireplace and nice minibar and coffee station.

They need to put a roof over the courtyard area, even if it is just a retractable one. Weather was not good on the day we stayed there and we had to walk in the rain to get to our car or to breakfast. There was a great fireplace in the room which is why we booked this hotel as we wanted a cosy fireplace in the room. But they did not leave us matches or something to light the fire. The evening when we came back from the restaurant we had to go look for matches somewhere. But all this said - it was our second stay here and we will be back.

Everything. The room is spacious, the view out of the room is just beautiful, the bathroom is nice, the staff is very helpful, friendly and goes above and beyond for you. A big thank you for a perfect (too short) stay! Breakfast is really good, too. Yes, you have to decide what you want to eat (Omelette or boiled egg etc) the day before, but I think it's a good way cause there won't be so much wasted food! The staff was also helpful cause our safe wasnt working. We were allowed to use theirs. To add is that there is still electricity for wifi or to charge your mobile phone even on load shedding times. Very convenient.

The sliding door (glass) between the bathroom and the bedroom looks really good, but you can hear everything out of the bathroom 🙈 We didn't have a remote for the parking gate. We would've needed it 1 night. But it wasn't that bad.

We had to leave very early the Saturday morning and the hotel accommodated us outside breakfast hours with a continental breakfast and excellent coffee. The fireplace inside the room was absolutely magnificent ((although you could really give a little bit more firewood... considering we were there during a rainy weekend and there are no aircons anymore due to your generator system)).

Please put some more coffee pods, tea bags, milk and sugar at the coffee station in the room. It always baffles me that hotels / guest houses only "budget" for two cups of coffee per person per room per day... The water which we presumed was there for the coffee was also never replaced.

The view from the window was amazing. The location was very close to the centre but not at all noisy. The parking was underneath the building but above ground - very convenient. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. The shower cubicle had some mould deposits. There were two/three flights of stairs to our room - being on the first floor meant you had the great view however! There was no outside space. The location behind the shops made this difficult but it would have made the stay so much nicer.

Really cute and extremely nice and cozy. The staff was super nice and accommodating, as was the room. Everything was exactly as advertised, and the included breakfast was delicious and well organized. Within walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops as well as the wine tram shuttle

We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived the staff were exceptional and so friendly. We felt very comfortable and at home. The fireplace in the room was such a treat and the view was lovely to wake up to. There are doors dividing the bathroom to the main room so you could bath, watch the fire and look outside if you so chose to. The breakfast and coffee was great! The winetram ticket office is in front of the hotel. We will be back!

That we had to leave :(.
