The Perryville house far exceeded our expectations. It is an older building but exceptionally well maintained. The location is in the hub of Kinsale, within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The Scilly walk starts right across the street of this hotel. Private parking is available for the guests. Those who were unable to find spots still had the option of parking in the lot beyond. Breakfast was spectacular. We had the opportunity to try the traditional Irish breakfast. The scones, the brown bread and the jams were made in-house. Highly recommend! The brightest spot in this hotel is the staff. 5-star service from everyone we met. Everyone took the time to ensure we had everything we need or want. Francis checked the weather to see how the day was going to be for golf. After staying at the Perryville house, other hotels paled in comparison at the services provided. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the people who make up the Perryville house staff.
There was nothing that we can complain about.

We enjoyed a great stay at Perryville house. The breakfast was delightful! Beautiful table settings with white tablecloths, pretty teapots and cups and views of the garden. We loved the scones and the hot breakfast was perfect with lots of choices. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with a beautiful, crisp, white duvet and soft pillows. We had a lovely view of Kinsale harbor from our oversized windows. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. They work hard to take care of their guests every need and we appreciated all their attention to detail.

Amazing location. The service was next level. The staff were so attentive and helpful whether it was booking dinner reservations or suggestions of things to see/do or which bus to take to get to our next destination. It was by far the nicest, most luxury place we stayed in Ireland and it was such a treat! From the beautifully appointed guest rooms to the gorgeous sitting rooms and the lovely bar area where we had such a nice cuppa with some cake after a long day of walking and exploring. It is all done so beautifully. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. It had the nicest options and were the best breakfasts we ate in Ireland by a mile. Not sure what their parking is like if you have a car as we came on the bus but it's essentially across the street from the bus stop and very close to the adorable downtown and a nice walk to the Fort.

The room was amazing. Had plenty of space for our luggage so we were able to get organized and send some clothes out to be cleaned. The beds were so comfortable, and the hotel was beautifully decorated. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to the center of town. The owner of the hotel was amazing and got us a last-minute reservation at Finns' Farmcut. Meal was the best we had during our 2 week stay in Ireland. Definitely would stay here again.

From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our luggage was carried from our car to the room and we were welcomed to the hotel immediately. Our room was beautiful and overlooked the bay and the bed was very comfortable. Frances gave us several suggestions for dinner (all walkable)and when we returned she made us a lovely pot of tea with cookies. The hotel is gorgeous with several areas to sit and relax or have conversations with other guests. We highly recommend this Property!

The breakfast was by far the best we had in Ireland. So many options including well prepared fruits, adventurous grains and creamy yogurts. I mean even the toast was wonderful! The staff was great as well. The room felt very luxurious and the location allowed us to walk to everything.
Well, the bed was too soft. I literally was rolling off the bed since the sides had no structure. It would have been nice if at least one of the pillows was thin as not all enjoy big fat pillows. Finally, I loved the dark out shade however, getting up to use the facilities in the middle of the night it would have been useful to have a nightlight in the bathroom.

Everything was perfect. The wonderful Irish welcome from Andrew and Frances plus the Australian Flag flying over the hotel portico set the standard very high (no pun intended) and nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. Our only regret is that we only stayed two days at this exquisite boutique hotel. Breakfast each morning was wonderful. Drinks with Frances in the lounge were a lovely and lively extra. Our room was super comfortable and very well appointed with a gorgeous harbour view. Andrew and Co are a well organised and truely hospitable team with years of experience in attending to the endless needs of guests and they do so at the highest level. We long to return.

A great heritage place to stay in Kinsale, freshly renovated with antique furniture and lovely prints on the walls. Wonderful hosts and a superb breakfast with somewhat unusual, hence delightful options (e.g., glazed rhubarb, squashed peas on toast, etc). Large bed room with new, impeccable bathroom. Great common room and also nice breakfast room with flower decorations.
Everything had been close to perfect of course. The only piece missing had been the view to the front and sea. Our view into the backyard may have provided tranquility, but had been the missing piece for a score of „10“.

This is one of the best guest houses we have stayed in. The decor is beautiful, the rooms are very spacious (including the bathroom), they provide the best breakfast you look forward to each day and there is a very friendly atmosphere among guests and staff. Every member of staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The owners clearly understand what makes a great place to stay and they have a team of people who deliver just that.

This was our favorite property in our 2 week tour of Scotland and Ireland. Absolutely gorgeous with an interesting history. An amazing, fresh and delicious breakfast offered to the most beautiful flowers and design detail in between. The staff was first class and especially Sinead who was absolutely lovely and so very accommodating. We hope to come back some day.
