Easy entry, friendly welcome from Pam and a spacious room with nice new carpet.

Broken hook for extra towell and wall hair dryer. Also if main curtain open fir daylight people can see in but nit sure how to get aroubd that..

We did book the superior room, but we were surprised how roomy it was. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was not classy, but it was clean and had everything we wanted. Room 16 was also very quiet. We liked the design of the complex with each room opening out to a central atrium. There was also plenty of parking, much of it covered. The room was good value and the location was half-way between Hobart Central and Wrest Point Casino. We were also walking distance from Battery Point a historic area. Our next visit to Hobart we would stay there again.

The kettle was difficult to fill up in the sink, needed to be filled a cup at a time.

We stayed here in Dec 2023 and this is our second stay. We love everything about this property. Spacious room and bathroom. This time, we were assigned a corner room and it had all the peace and privacy we needed. We slept so well! We used the washer and dryer located next to the reception for a small fee. So convenient! Ample parking lots and food options. Staff we met were all so friendly and kind. Highly recommended!

No cleaning of the room. Only daily clearing of the trash in the room. No body soap provided. Tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Insufficient for the 3 of us. But no worries cos Coles is just a 2-min walk away.

Nice, cozy place and modern facilities for the deluxe room. Stafff Liz Sumner was very friendly and guided us well for the tour. There are lot of eateries and cafe's that are easily accessible on The Sandy Bay"s road. The walk to the Salamanca market or to the wharf was around 20 mins. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Hobart and stay at The Mayfair Plaza!

Can't really think of!. But there are no lifts, so ergonomically not great for elderly people with arthritis.

Staff were lovely and very helpful - we ended up arriving much later than anticipated and they organised a late check in for us and made the whole process painless. The room was as expected and very clean. Love the indoor plants, and plenty of food options locally. No complaints from us :)

No fault of their own but we were farther from central Hobart than anticipated, but I got a great workout each morning walking up the hills. Again, my bad - and there was plenty of access to public transport if required.

All the staff we come across very friendly. Good size room Great location, coles next door and woolworths acroos the road, four places to eat within the complex and more within walking distance. Ten minute walk to the markets. Would stay again.

If you are a light sleeper water a bit noisy in the walls when in use but didn't bother us. Also read some complaints about noise with bags being rolled by people coming in late and leaving early. If the customers carried their bags instead of rolling them, it wouldn't be an issue.

We stayed in room 23 at the end of November 2024. The room might have been recently renovated as it was spotless and everything was like new. Bed was comfy, shower was hot, kitchen was well appointed and there was plenty of natural light. The room was pretty quiet considering it's proximately to the Mayfair pub. The Hotel is super handy to everything, so no need to drive anywhere. Wi-Fi was good too.

Bed pillows were a bit hard for our liking. It would be perfect if there was a TV in the bedroom (the TV in the living area was fine).

The entire complex feels secure and the parking is SO convenient when lugging items from car to room. The location to food and shops is fabulous. Liz in reception was awesome, helpful and very switched on with contingencies and helping with any additional requirements.

Nothing major but perhaps a bigger garbage bin in the living area and maybe a second bath mat due to the water from open shower flowing close to the vanity, saturated the mat.

Fabulously clean, quiet, spacious and well appointed room in terrific location within minutes walk to multiple restaurants and a short drive into city , on-site free parking, Liz was a terrific hostess, plus onsite guest laundry. Right in a shopping district, supermarket, pharmacy and amenities just around the corner.

Huge room, huge bathroom, really nice and great value, three separate beds (hard travelling in a 3 usually get a double and one single) They provided plates, cups, cutlery, microwave fridge toaster dishwashing stuff teatowel - I was not expecting any of that you can basically self cater there. Guest laundry. Location is amazing coles across the street, fantastic coffee shop literally 60 seconds from the room, about 5 great restaurants in less than 5 mins walking, bottle shop on the premises for those that want it. Staff super friendly and helpful. Lovely green courtyard that the rooms are centered around. If I come to Hobart again will definitely try to stay here really good value for money

The only slight thing I can think of is that you can't park outside your room there is a separate half outdoor half undercover parking lot on 2 levels but it is very close and there was no trouble getting a space.
