It is a boutique hotel and has that name for a reason; it suits those that want peace, no big foyers and the fan fair of dollars for nothing. Matt at the front reception desk was just a good bloke and helped everyone… I was happy to wait just to watch him work (and he has a devilish sense of humour)…. I walked down the little corridors, through the little foyer and into my room through the little door…..AND that is why you go to boutique hotels….my room was great!!!! AND, all the little niceties of a big hotel while actually feeling at home. Toiletries, shoe cleaning, a safe, a clothes brush and free hanging clothes hangers….. they trust us not like banks with their pens. Parking is across the road and reasonable but mainly secure!!!!! A little restaurant next door and recommendations in your room what is nearby - perfect!

A little difficult to ‘actually’ find as it has a small ‘shop front’ type entrance - hey but I’m a country guy and rolled up wearing an Akubra and boots ……. Plus I’m a bit blind (don’t trust google maps or your GPR - do what I eventually did and used my eyes and went for a walk!!!!!)

Great location, a short walk to plenty of beautiful restaurants and cafès, as well as the botanic gardens and Rundle mall. Easy check in and out, reception staff were lovely and welcoming. I had to unexpectedly extend my checkout to 1pm due to scheduling issues and I believe it was Toni, at the front desk, was immensely helpful and kindly extended my checkout with no fuss.

Just a minor issue, the glass pane in the shower of my room had a small gap where it met the tiled wall, and this meant a fair amount of water trickled out onto the bathroom floor. Personally, I found the pillows far too firm, but that’s down to preference. Just a suggestion, perhaps instead of two firm pillows, there could be a softer pillow so all guests can get a good nights sleep.

The staff are really nice and very courteous. Loved every interaction with the staff, especially Tony, Tony is such a nice person and she was really helpful with everything and made my stay experience much better!

They could upgrade their TV's. The TV in the room only has Dish TV and when I moved to another room, the TV there didn't even have HD channels. There's no Netflix, Disney, etc. This hotel could be the best in the city if they had Smart TV's.

The location was excellent, conveniently close to the National Wine Centre and surrounded by a few great coffee spots. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was modern, spotless, and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. There was a little bit of construction happening nearby so a few days were already noisy by 7 am or so.

didn’t like that you could get into the building and up the lift even if you weren’t staying in the building we had someone trying to get into our room in the middle of the night but sounded like they were trying to use a access card and it wasn’t opening must have been trying to get into the wrong room but they were trying for about 10mins we couldn’t have a decent shower we didn’t even have to put the cold water tap on and hot water went cold after a couple of mins when we booked the description said city views but when we got into our room there was an outdoor bland and we couldn’t see anything

Everything was amazing. The staff were lovely, amazing facilities, the bed was so comfy. Everything exceeded expectations. We will be back!

The quality of the tv was a bit poor, if we could have Netflix that we could cast to or something, that would be the cherry on top. But it’s not a huge issue

External electronic blind was broken but that's because the architect probably selected something that looks good but isn't durable. Lighting in the room is terrible, lights are just not positioned well enough.

Room was comfortable and very clean - spa bath inside made for a surprise. Facilities like kettle and toaster made it easy to have a quick breakfast when needed. Easy to get to the city to meet people for a meal.

Nothing - all good for my stay for the one night.

The air conditioning was ice cold and the room was dark. Was exactly what I wanted to escape the heat of the day. The staff were delightful and went an extra mile in making me feel welcome.

The bed could use thicker pillows or perhaps some extras stored in the cupboard. But nothing to fault otherwise!
