Appreciated the pick up from the train, the spa, the awesome view of ocean and mountains, the selection of soaps in the shower, the tasty breakfast, the spacious breakfast room/kitchen, friendly hosts, the amazing weather and colourful garden, the ability to store our e-bikes overnight, the milk and biscuits in the fridge

Noisy overnight traffic from the nearby main road, mainly due to the weekend HOP of Vintage cars in the town for the weekend

Beautiful little B&B with really friendly owners. The view from our front facing room was stunning, the windows could be opened wide to provide an uninterrupted view of the beach and mountains. Mick cooks an amazing breakfast... especially loved the eggs bennie! All the guests ate together at one long dining table and it was really nice swapping stories of our travels around New Zealand. Such a relaxing stay, wish it could have been longer.

Nothing, the B&B was exactly what we wanted

Lovely room, awesome views, gorgeous breakfast and wonderful hosts. The bed was super comfy, very luxurious and relaxing, hugely enjoyable stay many thanks!

The only suggestions I have are very minor - a little fridge in the room would have been awesome, rather than going outside the room to the shared milk fridge for tea etc, and a rubbish bin in the main room would be great (I could only find a bin in the bathroom). Other than that, perfect :-)

The photos don’t do it justice. The view is exceptional, and a short enjoyable walk to the main restaurants and beach. The property is immaculate! So fresh and clean, and the outlook exceptional. The included breakfast was far better than I have had at many boutique cafes. Mick is a nice guy and super interesting to chat to. We were here for our anniversary celebration and it could not have been more perfect. The spa was also lovely.

The Location was ideal with beautiful views upstairs & a short walk from the town centre. Mick & Karen were very friendly & helpful. Mick cooks an amazing breakfast that's worth staying there just for that :-) Highly recommend & definitely look forward to staying there again. Cheers Byron & Angela.

By far the most phenomenal accommodation we've experienced in New Zealand. The whole home was immaculate, inside and out, and the bed was the most comfortable we've slept in. The view from the Whale Room was breathtaking! Thank you, Mick and Karen for the brilliant hospitality.

The property is on a great location, with wonderful comfy rooms. Nice space and very good bed. The bath is basic but had all one needs. Cold water and cookies were a fun touch. The breakfast was exceptional.

You can hear some road noise, but I barely noticed it.

The room was perfect with a beautiful bay window to sit and enjoy the view. The home had an amazing garden full.of flowers. The owners were so friendly and we enjoyed a beautiful home cooked meal with other guests.

Everything! Mick and Karen were very friendly, they gave us suggestions and booked the restaurant for us. Breakfast was amazing. We had the whale room which had a beautiful view over the snow capped mountains and the ocean. Just a walk down to main street with all the cafes and beach. We loved our stay.

The fact we could only stay one night.

Delicious cooked breakfast. Enjoyed chatting to hosts over breakfast. Lovely to have fresh milk in the fridge on the landing and homemade cookies. Nice to have suitcase stands.

We would have liked cereal and fresh fruit as well as a cooked breakfast. A rubbish bin in the bedroom as well as the bathroom would have been nice. We did open the bathroom window but could have done with a fan in the bathroom.
