Lovely presentation of room and great location for accessing meals from nearby pubs. Breakfast was included and excellent. Management were very helpful and communicated promptly via Booking.com emails.

We didn’t realise it was a self check in place and we had to phone the business when we arrived to get our lockbox code. As we were from overseas and had only purchased an e-sim with internet access we were unable to make the phone call to get the access code. It is also best to pre-pay for this accomodation rather than at check-in as you can’t get the lockbox code until you have paid - this is again difficult to do if you don’t have access to be able to do this over the phone. Fortunately we knew someone who could phone the property on our behalf to get the code and pay over the phone for us. Having a WhatsApp number for the business would alleviate this problem for overseas visitors.

Homely feel, warming decor, great comfortable and clean bedding, thick curtains blocked all external lighting, tea/ coffee/ water provisions, full English breakfast included, parking offroad, location, and value for money.

Had to call a number to obtain door keys thus concerned if no-one answered at 9pm (was okay though); could do with a light for safe lock. Ensuite cleanliness and condition: shower grout had black mould, shower handle bar rusted, chrome light fitting rusted, plastic cup dirty, cobweb on ceiling, no bath mat. TV remote or remote batteries weren't 100% working. One of two bedside lamps was not working. Bedside multi charger led too bright (so unplugged it).

Rooms were clean although very warm but fans were provided. Breakfast was reasonably good but maybe a menu should be available. You do need to book a slot for breakfast as the dining area is small but if people take longer and it is full you will have to wait so if you need to be somewhere factor this in. We booked for three guests which worked out to approx £60 pppn including breakfast which we thought was fair.

Not much parking space which was worse when staff arrived as they are not onsite. Also a skip took one space. We left our vehicle there and went into town by bus as we could not be sure a space would be there if we left during our stay. Nowhere secure to leave cases before check in as front door was open and the only person onsite was a cleaner upstairs. Ongoing roadworks made access more difficult (although not the B&B's fault). Cannot comment on staff as it is unmanned but instructions to check in and retrieve key was clear over phone.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the hosts served an excellent breakfast each morning that was well-prepared and very generous. The free parking on site in front of the building was very convenient, and made it easy to move our luggage in and out of our room.

We could hear guests in the room beside us quite clearly at times, particularly when they were showering or using the washroom. This was not a significant issue, but it did make the room feel a bit less private than would be ideal.

Easy to find, with very friendly, informative and helpful staff. Lovely clean room. Had twin beds with shower Ensuite, TV, etc. We found it quiet, despite being on what I would class as a main road, and a great location for accessing Cambridge itself and the railway station. Owner kindly arranged a taxi for me to the station as well as recommending places to visit and eat out at. Had a lovely full English breakfast with juice and coffee which set us up for the day. Any dietary needs were met by the owner on request, very helpful with this. Would definitely stay there again on a return visit to Cambridge, if they had the dates available.

It was our first time in a guest house, the self check in was very simple. It was very clean and comfortable. Lovely little extras like kettle, coffee, tea, etc. the en-suite was very clean. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff very friendly.

I really liked it here, literally the only thing that i could say and even this is not a negative as we were very appreciative of being able to park on the premises, was that it was a little snug. But as i said it’s not actually a negative.

Exceptional hospitality, absolute cleanliness, and charming design with lots of paintings and mirrors. The decor is very well thought through. New slippers and tea/coffee making facilities. A super warm and friendly landlady. Nice view from the window. Quiet during the night. Bus stop across the road with buses to the centre of Cambridge. Very beautiful and cozy property, safe neighborhood.

My mattress was a little bit too soft, with springs, but okay. Low water pressure in the shower, soap dispensers should be replaced as it is very difficult to get a proper amount of shampoo or soap, enough to wash your hair and take a shower. These small details didn't spoil our stay which was very pleasant overall! Thank you for the hospitality!

lovley place, you badly need to tell people about what to do when you get there, there are no people its a phone call and keys in a box on the wall, so you can't ask anyone about anything ie, nearest shop, nearest takeaway nearest fuel. FAB breakfast lovley coffee.

not a lot of bedding and no heating in the room apart from central so when it went off the room was very cold, no heating in the bathroom at all, so expect a shock on your bottom at 3am. I jumped 3 feet.

The Cambridge Guest house was really nice. You can just tell they care about the comfort of guests. We did self check in from a phone call at the door. So easy. We used the car park as we drove from London. Very convenient. We were a family of 4 and stayed 1 night. Our room was little but had really comfy beds. The best of our 6 week trip through Europe. Tea coffee provided and small shampoo etc bottles in the bathroom. We chose to include breakfast and had a full English breaky that was yummy. There were cereals, croissants and waffles also available. Totally recommend this stay.

Everything was perfect: super comfortable room and beds, great powerful and hot shower, fab breakfast (accommodating for vegetarian also)

It was a bit far from the center (a minimum walk of 30min) and the person to help with the self check in did not understand very well over the phone so the conversation not ver comfortable. Also you have to make an international call to check in. I would prefer if they sent the required information on email prior to arrival.
