The location was absolutely fabulous. Very well connected to public transport. The staff were exceptional, incredibly welcoming and supportive. Happy to go above and beyond to help us out during our stay. The daily housekeeping was lovely and very much appreciated.

The facilities were average, but to be expected for a budget hotel. The only things that were concerning and need improvement is the shower door wasn’t attached properly, and was stuck with tape. The heaters are underneath the curtains. Other than that, the room is exactly as advertised and was clean.

Great location, pretty good room standard for London. Easy to get around. Decent beds. Good value for money.

No breakfast available at the property now, so not as seen on the pictures fully. We could hear everything from the street below because of the one-glass-windows

The location is close to all major tourist attractions. The bed was very comfortable. The staff at the reception was friendly. There is a room where you can leave your luggage if you arrive before check-in. But also if you check out early. They didn't ask us for the £100 as mentioned by other tourists.

The bathroom needs renovation as there is rust in the shower cubicle and on the radiator. If you stay in the ground floor room it is noisy and you have to stay with the curtains drawn. The hairdryer didn't work, but if you ask at reception for a working one, you get one.

We came to London with my family for sightseeing and we were staying in this hotel for 4 days. The room was small as expected but it was totally enough for us to rest comfortably. Beds were very comfy, we almost didn’t want to get out and start the day, room was obviously carefuly cleaned (especially the bathroom). Cleaning service was working everyday, they would make our bed, change towels ect. Staff was very nice and helpfull, we could store our lugages in the hotel which was very convenient for us because of the times of our flights. Overall a person that doesn’t have high expectations for the price and is maily looking for a comfy bed, cleanliness and perfect location with near public transport stops that get you everywhere around the city is going to be fully satisfied and we were. The only think i can mention is very dusted vent in the bathroom, the fan was not working and we only preffer different water pressure in the shower but those are just details. Needles to say we haven’t mention any of that to the staff that i am sure would definitely helped. So if you want your stay to be absolutely perfect don’t be lazy like us and just talk to the staff :)

The property was good

Once I booked I went through to the hotel ( so I thought) asking for a ground floor room en-suite as I had a heavy case. They kept replying no en-suite on ground floor . Day before arrival I managed to get through to the actual hotel to land up having a huge fight with male receptionist. He was so rude. Too late to cancel I arrived. Not at any stage was I told they had a lift . A very nice man on reception told me they often have mix ups because all bookings are done through a central booking office and the hotel never gets to hear of the requests of the guests .

No kettle in room I contacted the staff in advance to ask to exchange to a double room as my Daughter was now staying. I received a message that said the room had twin beds. On arrival there was only one bed in room. The member of staff on duty on 17th Jan said there was no double rooms but on booking. Comit said there was availability!? My Daughter then stayed in another hotel near by. We did not use accommodation on 16th as travelling and run out of time.

Ignore the bad reviews, the Oyo Townhouse is lovely. We took three rooms, twice: for one night after landing, then three nights the next week. The Oyo staff accommodated our requests to have rooms near each other and were helpful in every way. The location is superb, near Victoria coach and tube stations and lots of places to eat and get supplies nearby. The blackout curtains are very good, even right by the street. Don't miss Gail's bakery for fresh breakfast pastries, coffee, porridge and juice (7.30 a.m. open)

More than 50% of hair dryers in our rooms didn't work and a power socket. A little maintenance required. Phonecalls are through an Indian call centre, which was a bit frustrating as I wanted to discuss the room situation directly, however the message did get through.

Location is amazing. The hotel is near Victoria underground and main railway station. And also other places are within walking distance. The room was small but had everything we needed. If I ever return to London I would stay here again cause the location really is good. The staff was also really nice.

There was a hairdryer but we couldn't figure out how it worked and we think it was probably broken but that was not really an issue in the end.

It was easily accessible and not too far from Victoria Train Station

The heating was on constantly so the room was like a sauna. Way too hot to sleep in, and being on the ground floor, I didn’t want to sleep with the windows open. I stayed for 2 nights, luckily on the 2nd night, I managed to figure out how to turn the radiators down, but the room had 3 radiators in it alone!

The property is in a great location, right beside Victoria station which linked into all the underground stations. The staff were very friendly and kindly printed out a document for us, we arrived much earlier than check in and were able to leave our bags at the property while we went out to explore, we were also able to do this on the day we checked out. The bathroom is modern and has a great shower with shower gel provided. Beds were comfy and the room had a hairdryer which was very handy. We were only really at the property for sleeping but we had no complaints.

Not much to say for this, we were able to hear other people moving around on the stairs but this is to be expected with a building of its age and didn’t really bother us at all - still had a good nights sleep.
