The location is exceptional.Very close to Westminster Cathedral,walking distance to Buckingham Palace. But most importantly,its a quiet,cosy Hotel with very friendly staff. It got a family like feeling to it and information is given freely. A definate return will follow and also a recommondation to other friends. Good price for the value you get. Hot shower,good bed. What more can one ask for??? Many thanks....a grateful customer.

Great location, clean and warm, perfect for a short stay in London. I am one of those people who is always cold and most of the hotels I stayed at in London were freezing. I stayed at the Grapevine twice during the cold weather and both times the rooms were warm and cosy. This time my room had a working heater and even a portable one.

The room was basic but clean.Bed was comfy.Tv worked and also the shower was hot enough and the water ran away ok.The distance to Victoria station was in walking distance.At my stay there was obviously work being done on certain rooms with refurbishment and a new hall carpet had been laid recently.

The single room was a little small,no coat hooks.

The staff was really attentive. Great value for a short stay. Free wifi. Don't offer breakfast as of July 2024. Also part of Sheriff hotel management. Was pleasant for 4 people in one room though it maybe be slightly stuffy for some. There was also a fan which was a surprise for London. Overall really recommend especially if you're near pimlico or Victoria coach station.

I've stayed here twice now and will again in the future. The location is perfect as it is just a short walk from Victoria station. The beds are comfortable, the members of staff I've met are friendly, the showers are great and the wifi works well.

It didn't bother me because I travel light, but the stairs may be difficult to manage if you have a big case with you.

If you just need a place to lay your head, this is it. Small and sparse room, the place is run down, used and old, but it is perfect, if you want privacy and your own bathroom. It’s clean, comfortable and cozy. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Value for money.

10-minute walk from Victoria Station, away from the main noise and bustle but still quite central. Pubs and shops nearby. The room was cosy and quiet and had everything that I would need. Staff were friendly and check-in/out was easy.

The location and price

When I plugged in my phone to charge near the bed it turned the fan off and tv off and made a very loud crackling noise then when I put my charger in the next plug socket it turned the tv and fan on something very wrong with the electrics in this room

The Grapevine seems to share the reception with Sheriff Hotel. I booked The Grapevine but I was given a room at Sheriff. Having been in both hotels in the past, I can confirm that Sheriff is much better quality. Room very clean, a good smell in it and in the common areas, nice bathroom and decent bedroom size. I have appreciated the kettle in the room with everything to make coffee. Very flexible with check in time, I arrived at 11.00 pm and there was no issue.

It's unbearably hot in there, but this seems to be a common problem in all old buildings in London.

Good location for Victoria coach and tube station. The room was clean. Well worth the money paid

The room is compact and if staying any longer than a couple of days, it would have been too small. The room could have done with some better window dressing other than just blinds
