This was one of the best, most thought out, hotels I have ever stayed at. The lobby is a fun space & many people were hanging out when we arrived. The room doesn't have carpet & that was fantastic! The king bed was extremely comfortable. There were so many outlets next to the bed & many others throughout the room. The bathroom has permanent liquid hand soap & lotion on the wall by the sink. The walk-in shower was perfect! There is shampoo, conditioner & body wash permanently on the wall. The breakfast was really good. You could choose from bagels, toast, eggs, turkey sausage, cold cereal, oatmeal, pancakes, yogurt, and muffins. Overall, it was a fabulous stay!

There really isn't much around the hotel. You really couldn't walk to eat or find entertainment.

The hotel is very modern and sleek in design. Our room fresh and new looking with wooden floors, a bright and spacious bathroom and very comfy pillows. (I should have led off about the pillows!!!) When I walked in, my name was flashing on the tv screen. It's a small marketing move to make customers feel more welcome...and it worked 😁 When driving, there is plenty of food and activities choices within 13 mins or less.

I did not like the $25 penalty fee to check in early. Nor the $30+ difference between a single king room and a room with two beds. I also didn't care for the odd space that you are to hang your clothes; it's inconvenient, (there is no closet).

Breakfast bar was not fully stocked. Also could use more varieties. Containers were empty where condiments once were. It was congested and the flow is not conducive to accommodate many people at one time. Eggs and sausage not hot. Warmers needed to be turned up. Staff not able to keep up. It closed on time. Unfortunately there was not food out prior to eat to keep up with the amount of people.

The hotel is very family friendly as the lobby is set up in a way that people can gather and play games, watch tv and just chill.

We had a roll in shower in our room and the way it was set up really caused more of a hazard. The drains were actually too small and the water flowed out on to the bathroom floor.

Breakfast was hot and lots of options. Pool was clean and easily accessible. Lobby was nicely appointed with lots of seating options that allowed privacy and a quiet place to read or work.

ADA chair access in pool did not seem to be in good shape. Did not use it but not sure if it could have been used. Cut foot on pool bottom at some point, not sure if it was just a rough spot or something left in the pool. Digital check-in and key did not really work

Loved the location and the cleanliness. Perfect place to stay and walk to the ballpark. The room was very clean, bed comfortable and shower good. Like that there is no carpeting and they have hooks to hang things. Very friendly staff and a decent breakfast is included. Great value for your money.

Nothing. This was our first time at Tru and will be using them more often.

The room and lobby are clean, secure and quiet. Updated decor and well appointed with plenty of comfy places to sit in the lobby. Breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. A new-to-us security feature: just inside the door of our room, there is a cardholder with a plastic keycard. Removing this key makes it so no one can open the door with a keycard from the hallway (think maid service). Caveat: removing the key from the holder disables the light fixtures in the hall and bathroom—took us a minute to figure that out!

Would have loved a hot tub in the pool area. Room was a little small but it was adequate for our needs

New, fun and clean GR hotel. Lots of comfortable seating in the lobby with great decor. Foozbl in the lobby and fire table outside. Loved that the workout room had a Peloton bike to use for Peloton members. Breakfast was great.

The Peloton bike was not maintained and I spent 30 minutes on the phone with customer service getting my log on to work and updating the software. The seat adjustment was also broken.

The room looked very fresh and clean. Colors were very vibrant. We ordered a pizza which was delivered to the wrong hotel. Your front desk person called another nearby hotel and found it! The other hotel walked it over and your person delivered it right up to our door! I can’t remember his name but he worked until 11:00 pm that night. Excellent caring about the customer.

In the shower, we loved the 3 handy bottles on the wall. But 2 were shampoo, 1 was conditioner. It would have been nice to have a body wash one up there. There was a small tube on the sink so we used that.

TONY at the desk, hes incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming. We have been to this TRU 2 times and he has greeted us both times. TRU hotels are great, but Tony truly amps up the experience.
