Visiting a new destination and choosing accommodation can always be difficult .... these apartments were centrally located and an excellent choice for our family of three. Everything was close by including shops, restaurants, bar and a supermarket for supplies. Eating out in Iceland is expensive so being able to cook in the accommodation was a real bonus. Smart, clean, comfortable and functional. The one bedroom apartment consisted of a bedroom with a very comfy large double bed and living area with comfortable sofa bed. The kitchen, within the living area was small but had a two ring stove, oven and small dishwasher. Plenty of cutlery and crockery for our group (6 of everything). It was well heated and warm. We took day excursions with a local company and pick up was from 'Bus stop 6', a short 5 min stroll from the apartments.

Communication prior on key collection was a little slow and I was not sure how this would work but you go to the hotel side where there is a reception and they provide details on how to access the apartment.

Mixed messages about check in time- check in email contradicted booking.com advert (email said 2pm, booking.com said 3pm) Error in communication regarding how to check in- email on day of arrival at 09:30am advised a message would be sent at 1pm on day of arrival with access information and key code, no email arrived... waited until 3pm and still no email so checked in at the hotel reception, the lady explained they only check you in in-person and that they have now stopped emailing the checkin information

The location of the apartments is centrally located making easy access to restaurants. The apartment also came well equipped with kitchen cooking items making it easy to do a simple meal on nights that we didn’t want to go out. The bed was very comfortable and even though the apartment is small we never felt cramped. Overall this was a wonderful stay and if we were ever to return to Reykjavík we would definitely stay at this apartment again!

The only minor inconvenience about this apartment was the parking. There are only 4 spots available for parking and if you don’t get one then you have to look for street parking. Not a huge deal as we could always find parking that was close, but it was more convenient to be able to park right at the apartment.

We rented a lovely self-contained apartment which was very clean and wonderful. It had everything we needed and was the perfect place to stay. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city and close to everything. The staff was brilliant, helpful, and friendly. Really couldn't have asked for more and would definitely stay here again.

The only thing you have to be aware of is parking can be a bit tricky in the area, it is full at night. There are a few spaces behind the hotel which you have a better chance of getting in the morning/day. Make sure to download the Parka app and use it properly if you have to park on the street.

Location was perfect. The key code to enter worked easily and was received via message on time. We had reserved a one bedroom apartment. The apartment was well equipped with washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, cooking pots/pans, cutlery, etc., The water smells and tastes of Sulphur but this is something which is common in Reykjavik. There are 4 parking spots, and we were not able to get it. For overnight parking, preferably find a P3 parking area or a parking garage.

Lighting could have been better. Kitchen was missing exhaust hood, so while cooking you might need to open up a window to avoid any false alarms. We ended up eating out a lot, so it did not bother us. During summer, when the sun shines at night, the apartment can have light coming in even though there is a window shade. This is unavoidable in all the regions which are located at this latitude.

Really good location right in the centre of Reyjavik. Our apartment was in the building opposite the main hotel, so check in was relatively easy. You could also use the hotel bar and spa facilities if you wanted, but we didn't get the chance. The apartment was spacious enough, nice modern building and room, and the bed was very comfortable. There were 5 parking spaces around the back for guests, but these were first come first serve - we were lucky enough to get one on the night we arrived, but otherwise we would have had to pay for on-street parking in the narrow surrounding streets (it's free between 9pm-9am, but can cost quite a bit during the day).

The bathroom smelt a bit damp - it had a nice pebble stone surface to it all, but maybe this also meant it was harder for water to completely drain away

Perfect for one couple or friends. Apartment was really modern, warm, spotless and the location couldn’t have been closer to everything. Fully equipped kitchen and there was a good hair drier in the bathroom to save us bring in our carry on luggage. 2 minute walking distance to all pick up bus stops, restaurants and bars.

No blinds or curtains on the windows in the apartment including the bedroom and bathroom so anyone walking past on the street or in the buildings across could see directly into the apartment = no privacy It was advertised as one bedroom and a pull out couch in the living area. Our group was a couple & one single but there was no door on the bedroom = no privacy The living room with the pull out couch is directly opposite a night club so from 12-3am on Friday and Saturday you can hear the music and everything happening on the street

Fantastic location, great facilities. We had a large 2 bedroom apartment for 3 people. It had everything we needed and was a perfect base for our trip. Very comfy beds and lovely showers!

It’s not a dislike just something to be aware of if you hire a car. There are only 4 parking spots for the property which were always full when we were looking but street parking is relatively easy you just might have to walk a bit to get to the apartment. Make sure you have the parking app so that you can pay in the different parking zones.

Super spacious self-service apartment with plenty of amenities. Location was incredible, right next to the main street with heaps of restaurants, bars, cafes & shops to explore. The service from the hotel staff was fantastic and a definite highlight; I had some trouble with the washer dryer in the apartment, and they worked hard to provide me with quick solutions when the machine wasn't able to be fixed. I also used the day spa, which was very pleasant. Overall a really memorable & top quality spot that I'd recommend in a heartbeat!

Only thing would be to flag that the location guest parking is not guaranteed (first come, first serve), but the staff provide plenty of options/alternatives to help you out at check-in

Very good location, close walk to almost everything you need to see in Reykjavik. Apartment was clean and all mod cons. It was located on a main street but the noise wasn't too bad. Bed was super comfy.

If it wasn't for the parking it would've bee 110% score. There are only 4 places available. It's a first come first serve bases. If you miss it you have to pay P1 parking rates. It's 600ISk/h and you only allowed to stay for three hours at a time. You "can stay longer" if you just pay more on the app. But it does work out a lot. There are cheaper parking but it's about a 15min walk. Some blackout curtains would help in the bedroom.
