Super comfortable beds (4 bedrooms) and 2 full bathrooms. The bathtub-shower combo was a full American size and the large eating table and sofa was great for our family. We didn’t cook but it had a great kitchen and was well equipped.

There was a slight odor from one of the bathrooms, maybe a pet odor. We just kept the bathroom doors closed and it was fine. I would still recommend this place since that was minor. You also need to know that it is 3 full flights of stairs with the last 2 ones being a spiral staircase. Also, the lockbox for the key to the Penthouse is not labeled. After trying ALL the lock boxes, the penthouse one is the last column on the right on the wall, middle of the column with yellow sticker on it. The big outside gate was never locked. You just have to push really hard on the right side. Ignore the master code box on the gate.

Fantastic location, I loved the vibe of the apartment. The beds were super comfortable. It had everything we could need. It was nice with all the TV in English and Netflix etc not that we wasted time watching TV! I just loved the location - if you had to drop a pin in the centre of Reykavik it would be it. Great views from the windows for people watching. There is a 24 hr shop across the road we used a lot for drinks. The pictures show the kitchen, dining room and living room as separate rooms but they knocked the walls down so it's all open plan and lovely, a massive space. Thank you so much for supplying enough loo roll, washing up stuff, handsoap, it is such a pain to have to go out and buy these things especially in Iceland. That was a nice touch, and you never know when you arrive if these things are in the apartment or not. We had a car and parking was easy - we used to park behind in a little car park, that was free between 6pm and 9am so we didn't pay much as we went out in the day. The one day we were in town, we parked for free down by the Lava Show then walked around town.

Small but comfortable, clean apartment. Lovely hot water but everything smells of sulphur! In the downtown Reykjavik area, so close to all amenities and tourist attractions are a walk or bus ride away. Buses are regular and reliable, but you need to buy tickets via the app or at certain stores. 1 ticket can be used multiple times within a 75 minute period.

Only 3 towels provided for 3 people for 9 nights. Messaged the property twice over this and eventually was told staff had gone home but we could collect more from their 2nd property which we did, but this should be accounted for properly. As no staff members on site, one night a loud verbal fight took place in the property and outside at 2am for an hour, which unsettled our daughter who was terrified. Would be better for owners to be on site to deal with rowdy guests. No point in emailing them as they wouldn't have seen it until morning!

Couldn't get TV to work but managed to tune it in to YouTube. To be fair we could have phoned owner but out a lot. Heat from geothermal heating was high and very strong sulphur smell from water. This can be the case in some places, not just this one. Can be very noisy when other residents coming and going up and down stairs. But would stay again for location and large room. Great location. Thank you.

The apartment was so well situated in town. Quite literally everything is at your fingertips. Perfect for the three of us (me and my parents). The rooms were a decent size and the bathroom was perfect. Good range of kitchen utensils too. The check-in process was smooth and efficient and we were even able to check-in early which was so helpful given the early flight.

Tbh nothing, as nothing can really be done about it, but as I was sleeping in the pull-out bed in the living area/kitchen, it was a little frustrating having to go through the main bedroom (waking my parents up in the middle of the night) to get to the toilet. If this is the kind of thing that doesn't bother you though, then this place really is worth it I would say. Perhaps a little pricey, but splitting the cost between three and the location really do make up for the cost.

The apartment is in an excellent location, in the very center of Reykjavik. It is very spacious and well-equipped. It is ideal for accommodating a larger group. Parking is located nearby, and it is necessary to pay for it. There are numerous shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

The entrance iron gate can be closed and it is not easy to unlock it. Communication with the owners was not the most effective to solve the problem of unlocking the gate. It would also be good if more towels were available.

Spacious. Single beds. 4 bedrooms. Good kitchen. Nice open plan sitting area. WiFi. Towels. 2 bathrooms. We were a group of 8 ladies, young to old. Good check in instructions.

Good job we had Google maps as taxi couldn't drop us outside as it is a pedestrianised area, but it was not too far of a walk. Similarly, we had to walk to Bus Stop No. 6. to be picked up by our tour driver, but that was ok too - with google maps. And I don't recall reading that it was 2 flights of stairs up but that was probably better in the long run as we were there on a noisy Sat. and Sun.

The location of this apartment was excellent. Right in the city centre, close to tour bus stop, walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go, including a well stocked supermarket. It was spacious and well equipped with separate bedroom and living area. The kitchen bench area was limited but we managed. We loved the heated bathroom floor. Would have liked space to hang up our towels though. The bed was large and comfy, and despite the night being so light we slept well. Would try to book the same place if we returned to Reykjavik.

The host communicated promptly prior to arrival but when we had an issue whilst staying (the smoke detector battery going flat so giving off a very loud beep every minute) we could not get in touch. We removed the detector from the ceiling ourselves to stop the noise.

We really enjoyed our family stay here. It's a cosy and clean apartment with all the necessities. It's very warm and the window provides good ventilation. The bathroom has a small heated pipes for drying small items of clothing. The sheets were clean and the bed and sofa bed were comfortable. There are restaurants on the first floor, but no smells go up into the apartment. No loud music at night, bars and restaurants close at a reasonable hour. The staff were superb when we needed assistance! They replied to messages promptly and offered great solutions for us. They also give very clear check in instructions. Overall, would really recommend, convenient and comfortable stay with lots of things to look at around. A tip: For grocery shopping, go to Krónan, don't go to small markets that are hugely overpriced.

A bit noisy in the evening/a few instances of screaming and laughing outside in the middle of the night which is understandable as it's the very core of the city with night life. It woke up the adults but the kids stayed asleep. We used a white noise app on our phones to cover it up.

Location was perfect, easy walking distance to all restaurants, bars & shops. The apartment was very clean, warm and plenty of space. supermarket right opposite. Overall I'd highly recommend staying here, the hosts were always in communication from the moment we booked until the moment we left and very helpful.
