The location of guest house was good. Nice place. First time in these kind of places i found a real mattress. This was pleasant surprise as usually it conventional beds. Room was spacious with small terrace and view to river. Breakfast was reasonable - complains here.

The worst worry for us - did the room had air conditioning. And it hadn't of course:) I have difficulties of handling the heat especially at night so I was getting my self ready for sleepless nights as the weather was hot. But strangely when we open the terrace door and window it cool down quite fast. And of course - running river noise. Its extremely loud. You have to close window/door to get noise level to minimum.

Easy to find, right on the main street. Parking was available right at the guesthouse. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good for adults, for kid's though some oat porridge and pancakes would make it better.

Main thing - we picked this for breakfast and not having carpets or other textiles in the room to avoid extra dust (allergy). All was good until we noticed that walls are covered with dust, like you could put a palm on the wall and see the mark. With wet towel it took 15 min to clean all the walls, yet it was not something we expected to do. One room is clean now :), hopefully the staff spends some time to do the cleaning of the rest. Sound insulation is not the best, especially if you sleep near the shared wall with bathroom on the other side.

Great location, with views on the fjord, 5 min from the centre and harbour (for ferry to Eidfjord/Odda) and a bus stop right in front (for the bus to Voss). Quick WiFi. Good beds, nice rain shower, and a lovely balcony with a bench overlooking the river. Good breakfast with large selection. Fantastic hiking opportunities around (the hike to Jobysket with views on Osafjord is highly recommended!)

Thin walls - you’ll hear all your neighbors come and go. Breakfast only starts at 8am, so a bit late if you want to catch a bus in the morning, but the hotel does offer making lunch packages.

We loved our (too short) stay here. The property is a 15 min walk distance from the boat terminal. A idyllic place. Our room was in the side-building facing to a mountain river. Soooo beautiful and relaxing to stay on our little terrace and hear the water, the birds. The room itself is spacious, sparkling clean, simply but tastefully furnished and decorated. The bunk bed from below is big enough for a adult. Very comfy mattresses and pillows. Good quality fixtures in bathroom, enough space here too, sparkling clean. Basic, tasty breakfast, good coffee. Love it!

My family and I (3 children) stayed in a house next to the hotel. This is a separate apartment for all you need. With a separate entrance and privacy. The house is huge, one of the biggest I've seen. 5 beautiful and spacious bedrooms. There is an amazing view of the fjord from the house. The parents' main bedroom is also large and luxurious. With lots of closets and a view of a river. Huge and well equipped kitchen. A huge balcony overlooks one of the most beautiful fjords we have seen. In a 2 minute walk you reach the fjord. Easy access to the water. You can enter or fish. The service at the hotel was professional, generous and helped us with every question and consultation. He also recommended us for trips around Ulvik. There is also a huge games room near the reception. And a huge trampoline outside. We will definitely be back!

Breakfast was amazing , the location is decent. It has a campground in front with RVs and it was nice. The check in process was very quick. The staff was nice overall. For the money paid it was just a decent experience.

The bathroom are unusually small and the shower get the job albeit with limited capacity. After a certain time not a lot of amenities (past 8PM it seems) but I think that may be the charm of the location.

We were a bit late but the staff send us information regarding self check in which was super simple. Room was very nice with great lake view, it was clean and warm. Staff was very polite and the breakfast was very decent as well. Overall highly recommended and very value for money (~80€, own bathroom, breakfast included)

Bathroom was very small and just a gypsum board from next room so we could hear almost everything from next room

View impressive,in a lovely area with great walking trails. The staff are excellent as is the breakfast. Room simple but clean. I would recommend the guesthouse.

My room was on the ground floor which personally I didn't like. I booked a room with mountain view which it had but expected it to be on an upper floor. On ground floor you have less privacy . Also I wasn't aware the guesthouse was beside a road. Even though there wasn't a lot of traffic I prefer a location more rural and away from the road..

Big house, well-equipped, comfortable, clean, attentive staff

The steam bath's plug was extremely difficult to pull out at the end of a bath. Really takes a huge effort and endangers your hands. When we arrived the first night we couldn't pull it out so the bath remained full with water until the next morning when the maintenance guy came to help. This should have been fixed (the maintenance guy knew about this problem when he came to help us with this, so I wonder why this wasn't fixed already).

We booked one room, and when we arrived, we were informed that they had given us a free upgrade, which we did not expect at all. We really liked the room, everything was new, just recently renovated, it still smelled a little like varnish. The room also had a terrace/balcony, the view from the room was magnificent - over the river, I also liked the breakfast!
