Best location ever! Staff were super kind and always helpful. No doubts I'll be back. Rooms were wide enough even though in NY they're always too small. I traveled with my baby and they provide me a crib and everything I needed.

The ONLY thing that I would like to highlight is that during the entire stay you only get ONE day to require housekeeping. If you want to ask it for an extra day, it would have a cost of 50 dollars.

Location is awesome and we got a great deal. Large room with lots of space, clean and nicely decorated. The shower water flow was amazing. Felt like standing under a waterfall.

Construction noise continued through the night, mattress was too hard and the bed did not have a head board so I kept bumping my head on the wall and the pillow would sink between the bed and the wall, also very dirty outside the door with garbage bags piled up next door, but that seems to be an accepted nuisance in NYC.

I like the concept of Sonder, where you can pick up the things you need for your room (soap, coffee, shower cap etc.) in the lounge and you can always refill your water bottle for free. Also, entering the room with the Sonder app went seamless. Good concept and nice hotel on the Fifth Avenue, very near to the central park. Also, the staff was very kind and always helpful. The rooms were very nice and we felt very comfortable in the amenities.

Right next to the room on the side of our window was a huge construction work. Since it is not the hotels fault, I still think that we had a great stay. They did not work on weekends, it only started to be loud during the week after 7am, which was bothering. Also, another critique would be the very loud and noisy AC in the room and windy, without the possibility to set the fan speed.

Independent living, unlike a traditional hotel. Superior room is a very comfortable size with lounge area and desk. Reception team are extremely helpful and friendly with Keith standing out with his care over and above the call of duty. Location is fantastic, two steps away from 5th Avenue, a few more steps to Central Park and plenty of choices for eating close by.

There's nothing not to like, just be prepared that it is not the traditional hotel stay with daily room service, breakfast and so on but rather leaves you to your independence, which works perfectly well.

The location is fantastic - close to everything, in the heart of Manhattan, the room was at the back of the hotel building facing other building but still having some view and light but no noise - perfect, and rare in NYC. The room was spacious, cozy, it had everything we needed. Brenden at the reception was great, he made a huge difference to our stay by being authentic (many employees nowadays sound like answering machines), simple, kind, and truthful.

This was a perfect location from which to explore New York City. Within walking distance to Central Park, it was great for our kids (4 + 8). We could walk to various key locations, and there was a subway within 5 minutes which allowed us to go further out. The hotel was very quiet and restful- pretty amazing for such a central location - and the ‘vibe’ was also very relaxing. Staff were not overbearing, and you helped yourself to topping up tea /coffee pods as you needed. We were very lucky to be placed on the 15th floor - the view was spectacular and a truly great first experience for kids. Many inexpensive, independent restaurants lined the street, which meant take out was easily accessible. Highly recommend and I’ll stay at Sonder again for sure.

This is nitpicking, but the only thing I really hated was the half-door shower. Seriously, who decided that's a good idea? I don't think anyone wants to get out of a shower and then have to step in more water. Boo! to the half-door

The location is excellent - very close to Central Park and many of the key sites of Manhattan. It's also very quiet and has some great delis and restaurants on the street too. The room was larger than I'd expected, given the location, and the whole place is stylish and classy.

Super convenient location in mid-town. Room was comfortable and lobby and common areas were very nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall a great stay and I would definitely stay again!

There was some construction noise but I believe it is almost over. It would not have been a big deal except we were on west coast time so 8am felt much earlier for us. If you plan to be out and busy during the day it really is not an issue.

First, the booking was super simple and painless. Second, the communication was prompt and responsive. We were in communication with the staff for electronic check in before we got there and we were greeted by a friendly staff who got us all set up. We liked not having to use a key. The room was perfect and had a nice view. Great water pressure and very clean. The proximity to restaurants and bars was excellent (short walks). Checkout was simple and fast.

I liked everything about our experience. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.
