The location was perfect ..very near to paddington station so we arrived from( and left to) Heathrow very easily and quickly. It is like 3 min walking from the station, that is easy even with large suitcases. The stuff was very polite, everyone with a smile always. We stayed at the twin room which was very comfortable and very very clean . The bed was very nice and comfy!! They changed towels and sheets every day which is rare in hotels . The bathroom was spacious and with all amenities as well as the room . I would stay again in Rove hotel in my next London trip!!

Everything was perfect. I would only recommend to add the option of breakfast . If that was possible it would be the perfect hotel!!

The location is excellent only 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station. The staff were very helpful. The hotel has a luggage room which was very helpful on the morning we arrived well ahead of the check in time and also on the day we left. Our room had a double bed and a single bed with an en-suite bathroom and was a good size for the 3 of us. The room and bathroom were very clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we slept soundly on both nights of our stay.

The things we didn’t like are small but annoying. There was no plug socket for the kettle. The only plug socket was next to the bed so we had to move the kettle to there. There was a coffee machine with pods provided but we couldn’t manage to get it working and gave up. We all had showers on the day we arrived so all the bath towels were wet. The next morning we left the tag on the door requesting the room be cleaned and expected fresh towels. When we returned the room had indeed been cleaned and the beds made which was very nice but only 1 bath towel was left for the 3 of us. I went down to reception to request more towels but was told I would have to wait for housekeeping the next morning.

The hotel is located to Paddington Station and all the tourist attractions, making it well situated. It's also a tranquil place. With a coffee maker, tea and coffee packets, sugar, and cookies, the room was immaculate. It has hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body shower liquid, iron with board, and a small refrigerator.

A very small room for 2 people. I have chosen this double room because of the reasonable price as London is very expensive, more in December due to the Christmas holidays. However the room is tiny for 2 people, no space for placing the suitcase or our shoes, we had them in the bathroom. Also there was no wardrobe , only found 2 hangers on the wall.

Great hotel as long as you’re not on the ground floor! We initially were placed on the ground floor, but after a sleepless night of listening to the underground every 2 minutes and noise from the street, I requested we be moved to a higher floor. Thankfully management were able to do so and the rest of our stay was very enjoyable. The room was lovely, the bathroom was spacious, and you can’t beat the location for convenience. Would stay there again.

Being on the ground floor means you can hear the underground almost constantly and the room practically shakes. You can also hear the street noise quite easily. Our tv & A/C was also not working. After we moved rooms we had no problems.

I must admit I had some concerns about our upcoming stay at this hotel after reading a number of negative reviews however I didn't need to have concerned myself. Yes the room was 'compact', however it was exceptionally clean with everything one could need for a couple of nights in London, including ample clothes hanging area, quality clothes hangers, safe, iron AND ironing board, coffee maker, kettle, coffee, tea, milk AND biscuits, mini fridge, hairdryer & TV (not that we even turned that on). Space at the end of the bed to store your suitcase. We were greeted by a friendly reception team member who was extremely helpful with directions & signposting for our travel to a booked event on our first evening, also positive interaction with a different member of the reception team on our return in the evening who was more than happy to provide extra teabags & milk. Yes, there was a little train noise, I had planned in advance & taken earplugs but I didn't even bother opening the packaging. The hotel itself is in a square & for anyone who has seen the musical version of the film Oliver, it reminded me of the morning scene ' Who will buy this beautiful morning'. The location is great & it was great to explore a different part of London. On your way to the rail station, there is a small bakery unit, grab your morning pastries from there, lush.

The size of the room. means we would only return for a maximum 3 night stay.

My main reason for selecting the property was its proximity to Paddington Station. Over the years I have tried several properties and this one for the most part was higher on the scale. The first time I stayed we had two twin beds and the room was larger than I expected which was a bonus. This time it was just myself and a typical small room--OK for me but not for two in the same bed. The staff were very kind and helpful during my stay.

Small things--the in room safe didn't work and needed to be reset. I had problems with the key card and finally they gave me a regular key to access the hotel and my room. Small issues but ones that shouldn't happen.

Firstly, the location of this hotel is amazing, as it is very close to the bus stops, underground and paddington railway station ( for airport travels ). I met with Abdullah initially and he was very welcoming and friendly, he even upgraded our room since it was very small for 2 people. He helped me out in navigating the city and recommended multiple places to visit and sightsee as a tourist.

I didnt get that sense of welcoming from Sarah. She wasn’t very welcoming whenever we’d come in or out of the hotel. Her looks weren’t very appealing whenever we’d speak in a loud voice or laugh. Upon checkout, she wasn’t very friendly which threw me & my partner off a bit.

Great location. Easy access from Heathrow airport and multiple tube stops in Paddington Station. The property is extremely clean. The rooms are well appointed (nice sheets, towels, bathroom, fixtures, comfortable bed). The staff is friendly. Cold filtered water is available in the lobby.

I knew that the single room would be very small, but there was literally no place to put my luggage except the bathroom. The single rooms do not have air-conditioning, but the website does not indicate that. There are no hooks or shelves in the bathroom to hang anything up. Even though the hotel has a lift/elevator, I still need to climb stairs to access my room, not indicated on website.

Good location only steps away from Paddington - yet still fairly quiet thanks to being on a side street. I had a great room on the 4th floor with more mod cons that expected for the price, i.e. safe, coffee machine, proper wardrobe, space to store luggage etc. Room was also bigger than I thought it was going to be. Bathroom looked newly renovated. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The bathroom had a very loud fan that turned on every single time you stepped into it. The neighbouring rooms had the same loud fans, so every time the other guests stepped into their bathrooms, you could hear that as well (walls in the hotel are thin). That was a very distracting on-off noise, especially at night. Highly recommend bringing earplugs to sleep, otherwise you'll keep getting woken up. Could the hotel maybe replace those loud fans with quieter ones, and ones that can be turned on and off manually?

Paddington was the perfect location to explore London and makes it easy to catch the Express train from Heathrow. This hotel felt quite luxurious with lovely decor. The bathroom was fantastic, the rooms were immaculate and the beds were extremely comfortable.

The air conditioner was loud and didn’t work effectively all of the time. We had a few days of very hot weather so perhaps it wasn’t used to such heat. We also had a lot of problems with our tv. We did report it and the staff were very responsive but it would work for a few hours and then stop. We booked this room as it had a refrigerator and we had medication that required refrigeration. The fridge was slightly cooler than room temperature and wasn’t adequate for medicine, luckily we had a thermometer to check or it would have ruined the medication. The staff were extremely helpful, however, and took care of our medication for us.
