Not as good a stay as we usually experience at the Gresham. We had booked 2 rooms - one was extremely cold with the double bed against a very cold outside wall - we had actually stayed in this Particular room before but in the summer so the cold was not an issue back then. The second room had a problem with the toilet flush and our family members had to be moved to another room and then back again when the repair was completed. The staff were very accommodating during this time though.

Although not up to our usual standards at this hotel, we understand that things can go wrong at times but staff were great and helpful as always.

if you're travelling with a BABY -- I was very nervous about the cot + stroller accessibility. Cot was provided as promised, the elevator was big enough to fit a small compact stroller, and there was also an option of leaving it on the ground floor in the luggage storage which was very helpful! The staff was amazing!! Super helpful even with things they did not need to do. Very friendly and willing to help, especially good when you're alone with kids, I found that it elevated our stay a lot. The room was truly tiny with barely any space to move and a tiny shower with place to stand only, but honestly I was expecting it considering the central location. There's space to sit at the reception floor, sofas, microwave that can be used, so that was nice.

There was only one high chair at breakfast so often when we came there was already a family using it and it made breakfast a little difficult. I also found the option at breakfast a little lacking and limited, they did provide both continental and a warm English breakfast but it was the same everyday (sausage, egg and beans) and there was no fresh fruits or veggies or yoghurts at all, after a few days it got a bit tiring. The Wi-Fi was decent but absolutely terrible on days when many guests arrived, especially on the weekend and certain evening hours. If you're working remotely like me and need that fast wifi connection, make sure you have a backup!!

Reception staff absolutely lovely. Location excellent. Super clean. Warm. Everything you’d need really. Breakfast available. Second stay, will be back in a few weeks.

The location of the hotel is amazing and is within walkable distance to Paddington Station . The staff at this hotel were super friendly and one of the nicest team of people I have experienced for a long time . So friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem . Lots of restaurants in the area and a very nice area to stay. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. Amazing hot water and pressure and no issues at all except for bed that was not comfortable and needed replacing but was not a major issue

The room is super small and we battled with two big luggage bags as well as moving around the room. I suppose this is the norm for rooms in London area in this budget range . Bed was not the best but we made a plan to make it as comfortable as possible. There was not actually much to complain about as we really enjoyed our stay here . Amazing staff and a comfortable stay in a fantastic area . No problem to stay here again

Yes, the building is old, and there are quite a few things that need fixing, but the location is absolutely fantastic! Everything you need is within easy reach, making it incredibly convenient. What truly made my stay memorable, though, was the amazing staff. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made up for any shortcomings in the facilities. For the outstanding service and unbeatable location, I’m giving this hotel the highest rating. If you value excellent hospitality and convenience over modern amenities, this is the place for you!

The room was bright and spacious with a mini fridge that we used for snacks. All the staff were kind and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty and a quick service. The location was a new place for us so lots to explore- very close to tube stations and fast food services. On the night of our arrival the lights did not work so had no light for the night however in the morning (they did have 24hr reception but we were tired and needed rest) we spoke to the front desk staff and they immediately helped us. After we returned for the day the lights worked perfectly fine. Very good service!!

Very friendly, helpful service, both at reception and in the restaurant. I returned the following afternoon to pick up my bag and the receptionist was very happy for me to sit in the bar area for some time before I started my onward journey.

There was a very noisy water pump under the sink in the ensuite which woke me early in the morning. It sounded as though it was activated whenever any water was being consumed in the other bedrooms on the top floor. The cooked breakfast was served too quickly, before I had time to find a table, eat my cereal and cook some toast.

Was surprised, good location, near to Paddington station, easy to get anywhere. All staff very friendly and reassuring. 24h staffed reception. Went with my mum and daughter, our room was in the -1, very quiet, big window to the street. Big size room, large beds, loads of pillows and extra duvets , we only used a thin blanket anyway. Nice and warm, big heating storage under the window. Fridge, kettle, tea and coffee available. Surprised with a Inglish breakfast. Cannot speak about the other rooms obviously, but our experience was pleasantly and surprisingly positive. Will surely look into this hotel again in the future if the need arises.

A lovely hotel in an ideal location only 250mtrs from Paddington Station. The staff were excellent, friendly and always available if you needed anything. Big shout out to DJ and her sister (sorry can't remember her name).I required an early breakfast which was very kindly made available to me. I had a long wait for my train ack to Scotland and the staff allowed me to leave my luggage to collect later. Many thanks to all at the Gresham Hotel for a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend and stay again.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean, albeit a bit on the small size, but fit for purpose.

No bar available to relax in. The breakfast was very poor. The room needs organising differently, no coffee machine, toasters that take ages to toast and I'm afraid 1 sausage, 2 eggs and a plate full of baked beans does not constitute a full English breakfast. No options of European breakfasts, and the milks should be labeled as to which type of milk.
