The single room I was staying in was on the 3rd floor with a nice view on the street, it was small but clean; and the bathroom was not as cramped as others I've seen in London budget hotels. The position is excellent, a short walk from many Tube lines. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was absolutely adequate, for a budget hotel. All in all, good value for money!

The wifi in my room only worked for a few hours the first day I was there. For the rest of the time, it was impossible to connect my devices to the Internet using the hotel network. The staff tried to help and gave me the password for the network of the hotel next door, but the connection was slow and unstable, I could send e-mail but surfing the web and streaming videos was very difficult. The flush button on the toilet was very hard to press down. I hope they can repair it.

Clean and well run hotel. Breakfast was very simple, but filling. Friendly reception staff.

Aircon not included in the price, necessary to pay extra to get it. Bed was relatively uncomfortable.

Excellent location within walking distance to Paddington Station & underground. Lots of cafes, restaurants (both halal & non-halal), souvenir shops, Paddington Square, TESCO supermarket and St Mary's Hospital. Hotel was clean and had nice, friendly staff and had a lift. Breakfast spread was very simple and useful to start the day. Overall, the hotel was good value for money.

The bed mattress in our room needs to be changed and the room is a bit small but other than that a cosy clean room to rest after exploring London.

I absolutely loved my stay here at Olympic House. My room was a good size; one can expect hotel rooms to be a bit smaller in the UK, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was impeccably clear. I had a beautiful view onto the street from my room. I slept comfortably, and the convenience to Paddington Station was a huge plus.

The only thing I felt was less than wonderful was the breakfast. However, I expected that from the reviews, and with so many great cafe's and such to try around London, I personally would rather go out for breakfast anyway. For the price, this was a great value, and the breakfast to me was not a deal-breaker. I believe the managers of the property do the best they can with the space that is available.

This hotel is a little gem in a fabulous location, 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Excellent value for money. The big bonus is the lift!! A simple breakfast is provided. The bathrooms are very small, but the shower is excellent - hot water and good water pressure. The beds are comfortable too. There is quite a difference between room sizes, so I would recommend checking before booking. There are a number of restaurants within a 5 minute walk too.

We booked 2 rooms. The twin was a good size, but the double was very small. Check before booking.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Appreciated being able to leave off baggage before check-in and again after checking out. Location is excellent - close to paddington, parks, and public transport, yet also quiet. I found it warm and comfortable for getting over initial effects of jet lag. WiFi good. Continental breakfast - cereal, fresh toast at table, cheese, ham and pain chocolate on buffet table.

No tea or coffee making facilities in room ( I noted this in previous reviews, but minor comment). Coffee at continental breakfast fresh but very weak.

Hotel is located close to Paddington station, easy to find, nothing fancy. Breakfast was simple, but enough - toasted bread, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, jams, Corn Flakes. Room was small, but for me with a child was enough. Heating was working well, so didn't freeze.

TV didn't work and I was asking 2 days in a row to fix it, but nothing happed. I saw the same problem in some comments of other travelers, so maybe it's the same problem in other rooms as well. We've stayed in -1 floor (basements), but room was with a window. I believe due to that factor wifi was so weak, that it was disappearing all the time. No space for the luggage due to the size of the room.

The room was quite small but quiet, A view of flat roof and overlooked by other hotel rooms. The ensuite was tiny and the shower not built for larger people. The lift was good for higher floors. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I requested an extra pillow which wasn't available on the day we arrived but was left in the room the next day. Location was excellent, 5 - 10 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops and fast food outlets all within 3 minute walk. Breakfast was disappointing, fruit juice, cereal, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, toast, croissant, tea and coffee.

The curtains and cover thingy for the bed (not the actual bedding/blanket/sheets) was probably 3 decades old. It was simply old, not dirty, not moldy, and smelt fine. These two items basically brought down the appeal of the room by 3 notches. Breakfast is extremely basic, no hot food, except boiled eggs. But apart from this everything else was literally perfect.
