Location was perfect as we were going to an event next door. The apartment was cosy, clean and had everything we needed for our short stay including parking. The staff, Jason and Helen were friendly, accommodating and provided help immediately when needed. We didn’t have breakfast but our friends did which they said was amazing so if we come again we will stay there and have the FULL experience….Thank you for a lovely stay, your accommodation was 10/10
The shower cubical was a little worn but that didn’t stop us from having a lovely hot shower. Living room remote didn’t work, was given a replacement and that didn’t work either but it was better than the first one.

We had the 2 x bedroom "apartment" above the car garages (not used as garages). Was absolutely perfect for us and plenty of room with a little kitchenette etc. The hot breakfast was simple, but brilliant. You could tell they used local good quality products e.g. great eggs, bacon and sausages. The continental options were plenty and again, more that enough. Staff were lovely and accomodating. The location is somewhat on the edge of the town, but a few mins drive to get in and wasn't an issue. Tesco Express only a couple mins walk down the road helped with some last minute grocery items we needs.
The only couple of negatives I would mention was the room wasn't 100% cleaned to perfection e.g. a few cobwebs around the lights and some basic maintenance items need attention e.g. a few small chips / dents in walls and some wholes in bathroom tiles poorly patched. Really didn't impact our quality of stay though. Just some friendly feedback.

Lovely hosts. We were very happy with the choices of breakfast, toast, pancakes, fresh fruit and locally sourced ingredients for fried and scrambled breakfasts. Various tea options and coffee. The room was spacious with a comfortable super king size bed. Dressing table with a stool and mirror was were handy. A corner kitchenette was very well equipped. Towels and dressing gowns, miniature toiletries were provided. The complex was quiet and the large patio doors overlooked a beautiful garden. We had our own outdoor entrance.
The shower door was more of a partition wall, fixed to the bath and made it awkward getting in and out and helping to shower the child.

Our stay at the hotel was truly delightful, set in a charming location that enhanced our experience. We were fortunate to secure the last available room, which, though compact, was perfectly suited to our needs and featured a stunning garden. The breakfast provided was enjoyable, and we were particularly impressed by the exceptional service from the staff. Helen, in particular, was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful, arranging for an anniversary cake to celebrate our special occasion. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that we would highly recommend. Sunita & Sanoj xx

Room and bed was comfortable. The carpet looked new. The bathroom furniture was all in good condition and there was somewhere to put soap and shampoo in the shower! Breakfast was good with the cooked breakfast prepared freshly for guests.
There was bit of a damp smell in the room, but nothing major. In the bathroom, everything worked well, although the shower head was at a fixed height and had limited swivelling movement, making it more difficult if you don't want to wet your hair. More hooks in the bathroom would be really useful. The fruit salad at breakfast may have been out on a previous day rather than completely fresh that morning.

The owners were lovely.very welcoming . We Loved breakfast. I was in a food coma for the day. Me and my friend both came from different places to meet in the middle. We relaxed and had a lovely catch up. Ideal location to explore Salisbury. Day 2 we went and had breakfast at the cathedral. It wasn't as good as our breakfast hotel on the previous morning. Just as a side note I am a manual wheelchair user and found the disabled parking space was helpful to gain access to the ramps to our spacious room. I didn't get a chance to thank you for a lovely stay. And hope to be coming again next year.
The constant sudden downpours of rain. But you can not control the weather lol.

Loved the welcome we received! They were so lovely, taking the time to show us our room, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was spacious, the bed so comfy, had all the items we required; soap, shampoo, shower cap and wine glasses! The shower was great, ran really well, lovely and hot, great to have warmed towels on the radiator too! Everything was clean and well presented! The breakfast was exceptional! So much choice; cereals, muesli, fresh fruit, toast, pancakes, crumpets, danishes, fruit juice, tea, coffee and lots more! The cooked breakfast was so delicious! Local produce; sausages, bacon and eggs which were fantastic and cooked to perfection! They have a beautiful garden you can enjoy too! The service was fabulous, everyone was very kind, friendly and extremely welcoming. Highly recommend!

The room size was great, having a living room area with small kitchenette, and bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Plenty of storage space and large bed. Lovely setting and gardens.
I did not give Cricket Field House the top score simply because I did feel that although the bathroom was clean, it was probably in need of a refresh. Also, I felt that although the breakfast was good maybe there should be more than one cooked breakfast option. This is based on my experience elsewhere for similarly priced establishments.

We stayed at Cricket Field House for just one night on a road trip. It was the most incredibly comfortable room, looking out over the cricket pitch and park (which was great for a run in the morning). There is a small shop just a few minutes walk, and a microwave, cutlery and crockery in the large and bright room which meant we could have a very relaxed evening without having to go anywhere. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff really welcoming and accommodating. So glad we chose to stay there.
Nothing!

Breakfast room was inviting and well set out. Food was excellent and tasty. Bed was large and very comfy, pillows comfy too. Bedroom was spacious and well equipped.
The cleanliness let it down. Carpet not hoovered, toenail clippings on it! Blinds were filthy and bathroom dusty. There were hairs on the bed too. The TV signal wasn’t great. We asked for help and a gentleman came and suggested taking it off HD, it was ok then for a bit but then the signal crashed again. It wasn’t great to see two members of staff snaking on the seat outside our patio door. Closed it so that the smoke didn’t come in. Such a shame about the cleanliness as otherwise it would have been 5 stars all round.
