For its price, the room is just great. I didn’t expect much (this is the cheapest hotel in its price category), so I’m quite satisfied. The bed is comfortable and clean, there’s a nice view from the window, a private fridge, microwave, and kettle. The bathroom is tiny but private. It was quiet. The TV has a USB port, so you can watch your favorite movies from your own memory stick. It's close to the center (I walked through beautiful parks to Buckingham Palace in about an hour). Also, very nice and friendly staff ☺️ P.S. Many cute cats live near the hotel (for me, that's definitely a big plus)😁

It would be good to fix the bathroom door. Obviously, over the years, it has swollen and now doesn't close at all. It's not a problem for one person, but if I weren’t alone, I would probably feel uncomfortable."

I travelled to London for a show at Hammersmith Apollo and found 23 via Booking.com - the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is an easy walk from the West Kensington underground, just a couple of stops from Hammersmith. I booked a single room to keep the costs down and was pleasantly surprised to find a comfortable queen-sized bed in the room. Whilst breakfast wasn't on offer, the hotel provided a few biscuits with the tea and coffee, so I didn't feel the need to leave early to find something to eat.

I didn't check if all the smaller rooms are on the higher floors, but I stayed on the top floor which was reached via what felt like a quite unsafe staircase, particularly leading to the top floor. The staircase becomes very narrow on the top floor with limited rails and of even more concern loose carpet at the very top, a potential trip hazard.

Nice small room. Smelt really clean when I arrived. I forgot to print out some documents, and the staff were more than happy for me to use their printer, free of charge, which was really kind. The fan was a great bonus as the room was quite warm. The street was quiet, so there was barely any road noise. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Not much. The room was warm, but there was a fan in the room. The steps were very steep towards the top where my room was located. If you're not the most mobile, I wouldn't recommend this particular room. However, for someone like me, this wasn't a problem.

This was a very nice place to stay. It is a short walk from West Kensington tube station and located in a quiet neighborhood. The room was small but comfortable and the en suite bathroom was also small but clean. The owners were communicative, quick to respond and also kindly organised a late check-in pack for me. The soundproofing was also good, and I didn't hear any of the other guests while I was sleeping.

There seemed to be an issue with the extractor fan in the bathroom. Normally the fan will turn off (either immediately or after a few minutes) when the light is switched off but it stayed on continuously after 30 minutes. Since I arrived late I couldn't speak with reception about it so had to turn off the fan with the switch on the wall in order to get it to stop.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is just a 5-minute walk away from the District line underground station - although, the excellent cafe that is on the way may prolong it. There are restaurants and facilities in Ealing distance too. The price was very reasonable.

The room was small (which was expected and OK) but could use a table and a chair. The sound insulation was insufficient, you could hear sounds coming from other rooms (even normal speech) and traffic outside. Still, the advantages significantly outweighed any disadvantages.

The room was great. Had some tea, coffee, biscuits and milk in the room for guests. Again, the whole service was great. Hot water, clean towels and sheets, comfortable bed. Nice and friendly staff. After checkout, we were allowed to keep our luggage in the luggage room downstairs and we came back for them later in the day. It's a walking distance to the underground/Metro station (District line) which is about 5 stops from Victoria. And there are food stalls and shops around.

Only thing I can say is that the stairs were narrow and the room small so if you have a lot of luggage, it might be quite tight. There was no reading table and chair in the room. And no catering services meaning no room to microwave your food and no tea room to sit and relax.

we stayed here for two concerts in eventim. was 5min with public transport and also london city was close by. overall we enjoyed our room. just the sinks was a bit low and small but overall worth the money. we could store our luggage here while we waited for check-in times.

we stayed here during 2 warm days, so our room and the whole hallway were very hot. you can open your window in the evening/night to cool your room a bit. no elevator, so you have to take the stairs. we had no problem with that but if you have a lot of luggage, be prepared.

I would like to say how absolutely excellent Margot was. She could not have done more to accommodate my sister and I. I stupidly had booked wrong dates but Margot went overboard in setting us up for the 2nd night at your sister hotel in Earls Court. Number 23 was extremely comfortable and had everything we could want. I have already recommended number 23 to many people and I will definately come back. Earls Court was also as comfortable but 89 stairs to our room was quite alot when we are ancient😂😂😂but still I would go back if 23 is full. Thankyou and especially Margot for making it a short but great stay.

The location for us was perfect for where we needed to be. Neighbourhood was very peaceful and quiet. The room we were given had recently been redecorated which was lovely.

The room we had was at the very top of the house, which for 50+year olds was quite a trek; definitely got our steps in. The room and bed were rather small as my partner was over 6 ft tall.

Nice staff and good value for money. I booked the cheapest place to stay and was prepared for a little discomfort but it wasn’t at all. It was nice, clean and comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. It was small and very simple but that was exactly what I paid for and what I wanted. I was surprised by how comfortable it was and just how nice the stay was. I was prepared for a little discomfort but it wasn’t at all! I loved it. Good vibe and lovely staff. I loved the fact that I could call Reece in the evening to ask for a spoon. Haha those simple little things make your stay even better
