Superb apartment with all facilities required

The sulphur smell in the hot water but that’s Iceland for you I guess!

Amazing apartment in the heart of Reykjavik. 2 minute walk to the Laugavager. It is surrounded by nearby bars and restaurants. Plus a 24-hour shop to purchase groceries. The apartment was spacious with two large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one being a boys' toilet). Kitchen with all the amenities and lounge. We also had a balcony. The rooms are clean and extremely comfortable. Check-in was smooth, and there were clear instructions sent from the apartment prior. We just collected our key and straight to the apartment. There is a lift and laundry in the basement. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We have stayed here each time we visit Reykjavik due to great location, beautiful apartments, and great value for money. We will be back again. Parking onsite as well if you have hired a car and great WiFi connection which is also free.

The place is so clean, smells clean and fresh. It doesn't smell of cleaning chemicals. We were able to check in early for a fee. Location is great, close to Laugagevur, the main shopping street where there are lots of eateries and souvenir stores. The apartment has a ref,stove,dishwasher,microwave,water kettle,coffee maker, bread toaster, pots and pans, dishes and cutleries, mugs and glasses.It's a home away from home. There is also a luggage storage. The General Manager, Reza is very helpful with all our queries like where to go and places to see. He was also very helpful in looking for and finding my Ozempic which was in a case.

The bathtub has half an enclosure and no shower curatin that water spills outside the bathtub and into the floor which is a health and safety issue.

Reza the manager was very friendly and helpful for everything. The apartment was easy to find as it is right next to bus stop 13, which you can get to by taking the red zone bus from the bus central station and the airport (we used Flybus). The apartment was very big and had all essentials that we needed. The cold water from the faucets is very cold and clean spring water which you can drink directly.

The storage locker for luggage was a bit small and filled up on checkout day, which made storing luggage before boarding our cruise a challenge. The hot water is geothermal hot water, so has a bad smell to it, however this does not make your skin smell after a shower.

I liked the location of the property. Very close to shops so we can walk from the hotel. The check in process was seamless and the instructions were clear in the email that was sent. Got our keys from a lockbox. Place was clean and comfortable. for our group of 8. We were able to keep our luggage in a locked room before check in as we arrived very early. Parking was free and we never had an issue with the 2 vehicles we had.

The wifi was very weak and could only be accessed in the dining room. The front bedrooms were quite warm but the back bedrooms were comfortable and we could not adjust the temperature. There was nobody at the lobby so communication was via email. Outside of the property could use some updating and fixing. Back balconies had broken glass and some exterior paint peeling.

Self check in was easy, instructions were clear. Would like a little more kitchen essentials such as oil and seasonings for simple cooking. Location was great, not too far out from the city, good cafe and supermarket within walking distance and near to tour buses pick up points as well.Wa It's quiet but safe.

Water had a strong sulphur taste, even though it is stated that the water is from the spings which makes it safe to drink but i've also stayed at other accommodations where the water tastes cleaner.

Great location, good accommodations, clean and functional. It's hard to find an affordable three-bedroom, two-bath place, so we're kind of at the mercy of what's available, but we were lucky that it was a decent place. We also had booked this night and the next night separately because of a change in plans and Booking.com wouldn't let us extend the first night, but they made sure we had the same room both nights.

We were in room 404 and it wasn't really a two-bath apartment - the second bath had a urinal and a shower. We made it work, but it would be helpful to know what there really was so we could make an informed decision. And we didn't use the oven because of the scary warning that if you set off the alarm you have three minutes to get to the lobby to reset something before the main alarm goes off and the fire department comes. At least they were clear about it!

Top floor, nice view from the balcony, esp at nite. Very spacious. 2 bathrooms a big plus. For an apartment to have a large foyer for our boots and jackets another big plus! Washer and dryer in the basement took awhile to figure out but eventually got it. Via an app, the cost was about $7 US for each. There were drying racks that you could take to your apartment to hang dry your clothes. It's true, drinking water straight from the tap was a simple pleasure!

We wish we could've stayed longer. The washer and dryer were on the small side. Hair dryer didn't work, but a replacement was provided the following morning.

Great things about this place: Really easy access, free luggage storage, comfy beds, quiet, and a big bathtub to soak in the hot mineral water (it's a little sulphur-y, but it leaves your skin so soft). The location was also very good. It's just a few, easily walkable blocks from pretty much everything. It's also right on a bus stop which makes airport transfers easy. I would absolutely stay here again.

The bedroom adjacent to the entrance was light all night. The curtains gave privacy but blocked very little light, so it never got dark.
