Walking into reception was very welcoming, decor was beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious enough and bed was very comfy. Location is fantastic everything within walking distance! Highly recommend.

Location is great, breakfast was decent. Fridge full of drinks in reception (at cost) for refreshments. Allowed us to use an empty room to shower before a long flight home.

They had issues with water during our stay, no water, no hot water, and there was an odd smell in the reception that I think was linked to this. Communication of these issues could have been better on check in, but they did allow the use of a spare room to take shower whilst these issues were occurring.

Everyone work in this hotel r amazing specially the woman who works in restaurants I can’t see only the woman r super good every one ,when I visit amsterdam this hotel is my home

The shower needs some work to make it more friendly to those who bring their own soap and shampoo plus the drain is not graded properly so water got over the floor

This room had everything I needed! Great bed, pillows, comforter, fabulous breakfast, easy check in/out. Great location, just steps to the Rijksmuseum and the Leidespline for tram and restaurants.

The rooms are small, but typical of European hotels. I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

We went for this hotel because of the good price in such a great location but from other reviews we weren't sure what to expect. It was perfect for us though. The shower was powerful, room and bedding clean, beds comfortable and friendly helpful staff. The price is competitive because yes the rooms are fairly small (we had an extra bed for 13 year old squeezed in), and the bathroom and shower are tiny. Other things which I guess are compromised on to keep the price low are no mini bar but you can get snacks downstairs and you have to scan to get to a Web app to order room cleaning, it isn't done automatically until after 4 days. Overall you get a simple room in a fab location for a good price.

We scanned the app for cleaning on the first day which was a Sunday and unfortunately it wasn't cleaned. When mentioned at reception they apologised profusely and made sure it was done the next day.

The hotel was great, with amiable staff, perfect central location and a great array of food in the buffet.

The lock inside the room was flimsy. At night, we weren't feeling safe because once someone accidentally opened our door while we were sleeping (pushing it with their bare hands) and left it like that. When we locked it again inside the room, we realized it wouldn't lock properly and could basically be unlocked again, were someone to push the door hard. Sound insulation between the room and the hall leaves much to be desired too.

The staff went above and beyond to assist me and my friends since we were very unfamiliar with Amsterdam, the location of the hotel is incredible with lots of museums and close to many bars and the hotel bike rental program is very well priced for cheap transportation aswell. They were also very accommodating when our room' AC system malfunctioned

Only that the hotel courtyard closed at 10pm if I recall but it's understandable since it might cause a disturbance for other guests and the laundry service was a bit expensive

Easy walking distance to everything you'd want to do centrally. Comfortable bed, good sized room, nice and clean.
