Small hotel - Perfect location - quet, walking distance to best museums, shopping. If you are not looking for constant partying - this one is ideal. Tram 2 and 12 is easy ride to the central railway station. it stops very close to the hotel -no problem to walk in there is # 397 bus that goes from Airport to the hotel - about 30 min, runs through the night, every 10 min during the day, again - stops literaly half a block from the hotel, easy walking distance. Even better than the train and tram that we used on the way in. we used the bus to go back to airport. Public transportation is clean, safe, on time, use ov card, much better deal than tourist day cards. Hotel Has an elevator! - very important , have you seen stairs in Netherland ? Stuff is very friendly, kept our bags and brought them to the room, checked us in as soon as the room was ready, made arrangements for museum and canal cruise. we actually cancelled our other hotel that we had on the way back and booked this one again. and they upgraded us for that. Hotels in the center of the city are surounded by garbage all over the street, the air is thick with marijuana smell. much better to move a little further from central station/center of Amsterdam.

Breakfast was delicious! The staff there is amazing. I left a bag at the airport and they helped me call the airport. No one was answering at Lost and Found so they called me a taxi with Mustafa. He took me to and from the airport and waited for me while I got the bag. It was at Lost and Found! Then Mustafa told me that I must see the tulips at Keukenhof. I arranged for my friend and I to go the next day. We made friends with a couple at the hotel and they went with us. The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting the museums. I had made a booking at the Van Gogh Museum a few weeks in advance and it was a 5 minute walk to get there. The hotel is on a quiet street and provided restful, quiet sleep. The bed was comfortable but firm. The bathtub was epic. The bathroom had a shower and bathtub. The room itself was pretty big with a desk and a chair for sitting near the window.
The room was kind of dark without a lot of lighting at night. During the day, it was fabulous because the windows were really tall.

It was our honeymoon and they put balloons on our bed and gifted us a late check out which was a lovely touch. The staff were really nice, helpful and good fun. The room was okay. It was a good location, close to cool and stylish neighbourhoods, 10 min walk to the metro and close to a tram stop. The street was calm, quiet and pleasant.
I think accommodation in Amsterdam in general is expensive and we were there at the weekend so we have to take that into consideration. However I found that it was a lot for what we got in comparison to other European cities we had stayed in on our trip.

The rooms are spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is premial- several minute walk to all the main museums. The breakfast was very good (fresh and tasty) although not so much diverse. The staff is friendly and helpful
The mattresses are a little too soft to my taste, also the bath in one of the rooms was too high (important if you travel with little kids or elderly family members). One of the rooms which looked at the street where the main entrance is was a little bit darkish. Although I liked the hotel, the overall price to quality ratio is a little too high to my opinion. But probably it is about Amsterdam in general

Our room was very comfortable, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and it was lovely to have an elevator. This hotel was within easy walking distance of several great restaurants and the Van Gogh Museum. We also found that the people on staff were happy to help us whenever we had a question.
There are a lot of hotels on that street, and the taxi that picked us up at the train station dropped us off at the wrong one - in the pouring rain - in spite of my showing him the name of the hotel and the address. No reflection on the hotel, of course, and it didn't take us long to find it.

This is the perfect place to stay in the city. Location, staff and room were amazing.
I waited a long time for the elevator but it was because the flat digital button is a bit hard to press and I didnt actually press the button so I tried again and it didnt work but then the guy from the lobby came to help and simply pressed the button and it worked and the elevator came. The next time I tried to press the button I tried like in a few ways and finally it worked. I was very happy. Hope you will also find moments of joy in the hotel...

Excellent location in a quiet, leafy street close to the Rijksmuseum and within walking / cycling distance of the city centre. The hotel has a pleasant sitting area adjacent to reception, and a secluded garden at the back. The staff were friendly and helpful. They were able to accommodate our request for secure storage of our touring bicycles without fuss. The room was well designed, larger than expected for the centre of Amsterdam. The en-suite bathroom was well laid out and a good size.. The breakfast was well presented, the food was interesting, of excellent quality and sufficient for our needs.
The room was expensive, but competitively priced compared to neighbouring hotels. It is the centre of Amsterdam, after all.

Our bedroom was small but beautifully appointed. The windows opened fully - always good to discover that. The room was on the garden side which was quiet. The staff were all very helpful, even though most of them don't speak Dutch. The lounge area is sunny and comfortable, with relaxing armchairs as well as tables and chairs. Very easy to sit there and work etc.
The basin being outside the tiny bathroom was a bit strange. The size of the bathroom was disappointing, with a rain shower (not our preference) and a too-low normal shower. There could have been more hooks for coats, towels etc. We had to hang the towel over the mirror (you know, one of those which you pull out from the wall if you want to magnify your blemishes and wrinkles ;-)).

Quiet hotel, great location in the museum area. Located beside the Van Gogh museum, Vondelpark, some public trams and some lovey places to eat, all within a short stroll. Staff were happy to help with any queries we had with our travel. Stored our bags as we arrived before check in. When we returned bags, our bags had already been dropped to our room and even our jackets hung up! Dressing robes, slippers and a coffee machine made our stay even more comfortable. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to make use of the jacuzzi bath in the en suite! Hotel arranged a taxi transfer from the airport to the hotel, which was included in the price.
All positive!

Lovely location - especially for those we are visiting Amsterdam museums as they are literally few minutes away. Regarding the room - comfortable, spacious bathroom, nice view from the window (street facing - but it’s very quiet).
Bed was not really king size but two smaller beds joined together, which was not comfortable to sleep in. Bathroom could be a bit cleaner (but we are very demanding with this…) and the washstand located outside bathroom (right next to the entrance of the room) was a bit weird.
