Location is excellent (and for those not familiar with NYC, safety of neighbourhood is good- I think others might be thrown off by the look and vibe of Delancey St.(?)). Staff was very accommodating and the place was clean. Size of room normal for NYC, and we had a lovely view (Freedom Tower in the background).

Would have liked a better shower curtain (only had the small cloth/outside and couldn’t avoid water coming out) and it would have been nice to have a place next to the sink for toiletries, but fairly minor points.

I requested a suite. I got a room The heat didnt work. That should have been verified prior to arrival. When we called to tell the clerk she said no one was available sat night to help but didnt leave a note for maintenance to check the next day.. Next day we left and came back late that night. Only to realise a work order wasnt submitted and again no one from maintenance was available. 2 days without heat. I also checked for parking prior to booking, which the hotel illuded to, but didnt indicate it was off site and not affiliated with the hotel. NYC has a parking problem. This hotel should have designated parking so guest can use complimentary and or comfortably

Location is very convenient that meet my needs, room size may not be spacious but adequate and bed is comfortable. Super markets, food supply within walking distance across the street are easily assessable.

Homeless people loitering around hotel vicinity asking for food and money was sad to experience. As travellers we are not sure whether to attend to them or walk away as so many negative reports/experiences on internet caution traveller's to avoid.

The receptionist was very friendly, he let us check in a little earlier since we arrived in nyc at 9am. It changed the whole first day for us since we came from a 10 hour flight and wanted to rest a little bit before a long day walking and visiting ny. The bed was super comfortable and we had a nice view of the Williamsburg bridge. The hotel was just a really fast subway ride away from every touristic place, some we even went walking like pier 35 (rec: a great place to take amazing pics of the manhattan bridge). A huge plus was the ice machine in the hallway and the freezing cold water dispenser in the lobby.

To turn on the fridge you had to press a light button so when the cleaning staff cleaned the room they would turn the lights off and consequently turn the fridge off and all the food in there would get hot.

-Very clean. Hats off to the cleaning staff because I didn’t see a single finger print or water stain on the shower glass. The grout is usually gross in hotel showers and it was nice and clean too -The amenities and design were well planned and thought out -The Dove products were great and cut down on waste -Complimentary water at check out was appreciated -Very clean -Room and surrounding guests were quiet -All staff were friendly

-Wifi didn’t work and I was too tired to call down to figure it out -There is so much single use plastic and there wasn’t a dedicated recycling bin -I also docked a point for facilities because I didn’t see on the door card sleeve that the ice machines were on 6 & 8, so I went downstairs to ask then had to go back up -A house robe would have been nice

the hotel was very well kept. beds were super comfy, room was very clean. the shampoos etc were all Dove instead of the usual hotel ones that aren’t as good so that was a huge plus. there is complimentary tea/coffee available in the lobby in addition to the coffee maker on the rooms so that was a big plus! you don’t have spend extra on tea/water etc. location was great, it was not lore than 20/30 mins away from any major attraction including Hudson, Dumbo, Timesqure, staten island ferry. 100/100 would recommend this place!! great value for money specially as opposed to some of the higher hotel name in nyc. the staff was also super helpful and friendly!

We asked for an early check in as we were going to our daughters law school graduation and needed to change and get ready. We called a few days before arrival and was told it shouldn’t be a problem but to call the day before to confirm. Got a different person when we called back and got a different answer …. Bottom line we were able to check in early and it was very helpful for us. It was a good location to walk to our daughters apartment . The $2 water bottles available to buy was very convenient . there was an outdoor courtyard that looked inviting but didn’t have time to use. Our room was on Delancey street so it was noisy because we opened the windows to get fresh air. All in all a good experience

The address on the website is incorrect When asked I was told When they renovated the moved the front door from Delancey to Suffolk street Rooms were a little small for three adults

This was my second time staying at this Holiday Inn location. I feel like people hear the words "Holiday Inn" and already have a negative connotation in their head, but this Holiday Inn is great for the price and location. You are steps away from a subway station with lines to Brooklyn and Midtown/Uptown, and the facility is always clean. This stay they had way more options for grab-and-go breakfast. It is not a frilly stay, but it works if you don't spend a ton of the time in the room. We spent maybe two hours of downtime in the room outside of sleeping, and it was perfect. They even let us check in early at no charge and without requesting such.

Elevators used to require a key to get onto the guest floors. Now that is not the case. I liked the feature for safety, but the hotel is not in an unsafe area so it would not deter me from staying again. You do need a key to get into the hotel lobby after 7, so there is still some safety features!
